Configure Later, on Windows

I want to chose "Configure automatically during installation" of Web Server, Administration Server, Directory Server and Access Manager.
And I want to modify the configurations, after install, using/modifying WSprop.properties, AMconfigurator.properties, DSConfig.bat and ADConfig.bat ... as if I chose Config Later Option.
Does ALL files need it to configure JES are installed in "Quick Config" as in "Configure Later Option"?
I want to configure JES (above components) after installation to a predetermined configuration, using scripts (without user intervention !! ) and I'm no sure if (all) same files are installed in the two cases. Thanks, CFG

How to create a controller for "configure spectral measurements" window

Hello Everyone,
Problem: We know that to change "Window" for spectral measurements. We need to double click on it , configure spectral measurement window pops up and select whichever window (eg., None, Hanning, Hamming, Blackman Harris etc) we like to view. Instead of double clicking in block diagram, I want to provide users a window controller in front panel in the form of list, so that they can select the appropriate window type as needed.
I am figuring out how to solve it. Can someone share their knowledge ont his issue?

On the front panel of the subVI, add the newly-created ENUM control to the connector pane by left clicking on an open rectangle on the connector pane icon in the upper right corner and then on the ENUM control. Save the subVI. If you show context help and mouse over the subVI icon in the main VI you should see the ENUM's name as a connection to the subVI, if you've done it correctly. Right click on the node on the subVI icon in the main vi and say "create control".

How would i install and configure HS on windows?

I have two questions.
1)Is there OD4ODBC software avaliable for 64-bit windows? if not 32 - bit software works with 64-bit windows OS and 11G Database which is also 64-bit?
2)can some provide me more steps to configure it, if it's possible.
3) is there any other way to connect ro MS SqlServer from Oracle other than using ODBC/Gateways?

For 64bit Windows you need to have a 64bit DG4ODBC - DG4ODBC 64bit for Windows was first released with 11.2.

HT202577 Is the apple configurator available for Windows in order to push profiles to apple TVs?

We currently have a windows environment at work and use 802.1x authentication and have some 1st generation apple TVs. We would like to get them on our wireless but are having issues. I would like to push profiles to these apple TVs to see if I can get them on but I am not going to buy a Mac to do it.
Is the apple configurator available for Windows or even ubuntu?

Updating to windows 10 fails on the "Configuring update for Windows 10" screen

Hi, I have a problem with the Windows 10 update on my Lenovo Miix 3 (8") tablet. Whenever the update succesfully downloads, runs the preparing stage for quite a bit, than prompts me to start the upgrade (in the windows 10 update app). When I click it initiates a restart and starts the "Configuring update for Windows 10" screen, but stays on 0% for a minute, than reboots the original system, and the update does not continue. As I log back in the Windows Update window pops up and after a few seconds prompts me to download windows 10 (again). I have already installed a windows 10 in a similar manner on a PC without any hickups. For me it looks like for whatever reason the update fails in the configuring stage, right before reboot. Anyone met this before and maybe have some solution, or should I just try it with a bootable pendrive?

I have same model and sadly, the same problem. It seems to me that the reboot interupts the install and when you sign in again it nulifies the install needing you to start again. On my laptop the reboots went back into the install without needing a login. Hopefully if enough people have same problem a remedy will be found.

Iphone configuration utility for Windows XP doesn't work.

Getting message when I try to launch Iphone Configuration utility on WIndows XP Sp3 machine - IPCU.exe Procedure entry point not found.
The procedure entry point sqllite23_clear_bindings could not be located in the dll library sqlite3.dll.
Say ok to that and get also a message that Iphone configuration utility failed to locate Apple Mobile device support . Please reinstall, you can download Iphone configuration utility from http://blah blah blah.
I already tried 3.4 and that didn't work. Back rev'd to 3.3 and same error. Running Itunes 10.5 and IOS 5.0 on phone. Any ideas?
Getting ready to deploy about 25 of these and using MS Exchange 2007 as email and active sync. I was hoping to use the utility to help roll out security settings and such.

we noticed the exact same thing. We used IPCU 3.4 and the new feature of setting WiFi proxy which we are very interested in. From Windows, after installing the profile, there was no proxy info on the device UI. From the Mac, the proxy info is there and can be seen from the device UI but it does not work. These proxy settings, even though we can see them through the device UI, do not "stick". They have no effect. HTTP traffic still does not go through the proxy.
Using the Mac is fine as long as we can make the proxy settings "stick", otherwise we have to ask our users again to do them manually. Has anybody found a workaround or something?

How to Configure Directory Server 6 In configure later mode

I would like to know how to configure the directory server in configure later mode.
I have done it in JES4 using the directoryserver command. Which is the command to be used in JES5 for configuring the directory server after the binaries are installed.
It would be great if anyone could refer me to the documentation for the configure later mode.

I tried to configure 2 windows users accounts using a single library per the instructions in HT1203. My iTunes library is on an external drive. I cannot get this to work. Any suggestions?

To give other users read-only access to your iTunes library, use the Sharing features of iTunes. Sharing works over the local network as well as on the same computer. See the built-in help for details.
If you want to give full read/write access to more than one user, see the support article linked below.

There is a way to share the library without moving it to a secondary volume. If you really need to do that, ask for instructions.

I was asked to migrate all apps from a win 2003 server to a win 2012 r2. From a clean install I made sure that all windows updates are done, made sure windows authentication is enabled then went through the web platform installer adding php 5.6.
In the web platform installer the following are installed:

php 5.3.28 (installed automatically with 5.6)

Under handler mappings, PHP_vis_FastCGI and PHP53_via_FastCGI with a path of *.php are enabled using the FastCgiModule each with full permissions (read, script, execute).
My account is an admin on the box.
I created a simple php file that contains the following code

Workflow 2.6.4.0.0 configuration problem - Command window does not close

I am trying to install Oracle Workflow 2.6.4.0.0. as part of Warehouse builder using the details mentioned in this link

Click Submit.
However following this document, the command window did not close, and I did not get any message stating that Workflow Configuration has successfully completed.

I ran into this problem. And it took me while to get it fixed, but It does work.
First the TNS Desc is misleading. One would think that it would be host:port:sid. What it is really looking for is host:port:servicename. But if you want to use the "Change Tablespace" drop down list you need to, enter the sys password, change it to host:port:sid - Then use the drop list. And change it back before you press submit.
The second thing that I found is that it wants to use the SYSTEM tablespace as temporary tablespace. THis is becuase it is looking for a temp tablespace called TEMP. If you look a the line default_temp = SYSTEM. And if you dont supply a tablespace it wanted to change it in the wfsysgnt.sql script in the $OH\wf\sql directory. You would think that what ever the default database tbs and temp tbs is - that owf would use that. No, it wanted to change it. Oracle needs to fix this.
So here is how i fixed it. I had to create a temporary tablespace called TEMP, does not need to be big as I dropped it after it was done. Then i had to modify the wfinstall.csh script and use the install options. Not the /tablespace this option is obayed but it will try to use the SYSTEM as the temp tbs. Here is my example that I appended:
/wfacct "owf_mgr" /wfpasswd "my_owf_mgr_pwd" /debug "true" /tnsConnDesc "my_host_ip:my_port:my_servicename" /syspasswd "change_on_install" /tablespace "OWF_TBS"

My Ipod 5 broke a while ago and I just managed to get a new one. However, when I tried to do a backup to configure it, a window popped up saying it wasn't possible because this devide's iOS version is too old for this backup... what do I do??

How can I do a backup now if I can't even access this new device to update its iOS version? And if I just select the option of configuring it as a new Ipod so I can update it, will it still be possible for me to download the previous device's backup on it later? I'd hate to lose everything.

That error message means that your new iPod is not fully updated. Update the new iPod and then restore from the backup of your old iPod.

Yes, off cource, I've tried to launch CCP with Administartor rights - no success.
I have re-installed CCP under Local Admin and launched it. Great!!! It works! But, one of but, the app does not launch from domain user while I use Run as Administrator. I think the issue in the permission and/or user's profile.
