It give me error :- Java.lang.Exception:Invalid Connection(0)
But i am able to connect to sqlplus using
sqlplus "sys/orcl11g@(DESCRIPTION = (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = Devowb-PC)(PORT = 1521)) (CONNECT_DATA = (SERVER = DEDICATED) (SERVICE_NAME = orcl11g) ) )" as sysdba

Thanks for your reply!Hi Pig,
When i run my web-application with the embedded OC4J server, the following error message is prompted:
java.lang.Exception: ORA-00020: maximum number of processes (150) exceeded
void MyFolder.objects.MyObject.<init>(oracle.jbo.ApplicationModule, java.lang.String, java.lang.String, javax.servlet.http.HttpServletRequest)

void com.evermind.server.http.ServletRequestDispatcher.invoke(javax.servlet.ServletRequest, javax.servlet.ServletResponse)

boolean com.evermind.server.http.HttpRequestHandler.processRequest(com.evermind.server.ApplicationServerThread, com.evermind.server.http.EvermindHttpServletRequest, com.evermind.server.http.EvermindHttpServletResponse, java.io.InputStream, java.io.OutputStream, boolean)
void com.evermind.server.http.HttpRequestHandler.run(java.lang.Thread)
void com.evermind.util.ThreadPoolThread.run()
Question:
- What is the cause of this error message? How to avoid?.
From the Oracle error message documentation:
ORA-00020 maximum number of processes (string) exceeded
Cause: All process state objects are in use.
Action: Increase the value of the PROCESSES initialization parameter.
Another alternative approach may be to configure your Connection pool and/or your ApplicationModule pool to optimize the use of
database connections and/or restrict the number of database connections used by the application. For example, if your application
has declared many root ApplicationModules (i.e. more than one ApplicationModule pool is in use) then it may help to enable the
jbo.doconnectionpooling switch so that each ApplicationModule instance in the pools does not maintain a dedicated database
connection while not in use. Another alternative if you are using the BC4J connection pool (not a JDBC datasource) may be to
restrict the number of connections the pool can create to < 150 with the jbo.maxpoolsize switch. However, please note that this
may have an impact on throughput.
- I intended to deploy my application to 9IAS server. Will the same problem occurs too?.
This is a database issue. So, yes.
Hope this helps.

Hi, everybody.
Oracle Database Control 10g displays on the home page the following message
-- java.lang.Exception: IOException is sending Request :: Connection refused
after killing some database lock that is impeding the users to successfully carry out their daily activities.
What could be the reason ?agent come with db was not working on that time

Java.lang.IllegalStateException: Already Connected Exception
I get java.lang.IllegalStateException: Already Connected Exception while executing
HttpURLConnection conn = (HttpURLConnection) url.openConnection();
conn.setRequestMethod("POST");
(Exception here) conn.setDoOutput(true); // we want to send things
// the Content-type should be default, but we set it anyway
conn.setRequestProperty( "Content-type", "application/x-www-form-urlencoded" );
// the content-length should not be necessary, but we're cautious
conn.setRequestProperty( "Content-length", Integer.toString(body.length()));
Can any one please let me know how to get this thing fixedRemove either the line setRequestMethod("POST") or the setDoOutput(true). How did you came on the idea to set them both?
You may find those snippets useful as well: http://balusc.blogspot.com/2006/05/httpservletutil.html#doPost -

I followed MOS Doc 259387.1 to reset dbsnmp password because its password is unknown.
The error is
Error
java.lang.Exception: IOException in sending Request :: Connection refused
Thanks in advance.
leimHi,
Posting this error in metalink you could get nice directions...
I have the same problem, and looks fixed now...
Try review doc 420761.1
And what I do, was:
Stop dbconsole
start dbconsole (fails)
review logs generated and look this errors:
$ORACLE_HOME/<hostname>_<instance_name>/sysman/log
doing there a directory listing by date, "ls -ltr" the last file showed is the modified one, in my case was:
rw-r--- 1 oracle oinstall 920007 Oct 27 19:33 emoms.log
-rw-r----- 1 oracle oinstall 522694 Oct 27 19:34 emdb.nohup
-rw-r----- 1 oracle oinstall 39130 Oct 27 19:38 emdctl.trc
tail emdctl.trc
2009-10-27 19:19:05 Thread-14236448 ERROR main: nmectl.c: nmectl_validateTZRegion, agentTZoffset =-360,and testTZoffset for -05:00:-300 do not match
2009-10-27 19:19:05 Thread-1125024 WARN http: snmehl_connect: connect failed to (<hostname>:3938): Connection refused (error = 111)
And tail emdb.nohup gives you the instructions to fix the first one, in my case, solving the TZRegion was enough.
$ tail emdb.nohup
----- Tue Oct 27 19:19:05 2009::The agentTZRegion value in /oracle/product/102/db_1/dbserver.uadec.mx_siin/sysman/config/emd.properties is not in agreement with what agent thinks it should be.Please verify your environment to make sure that TZ setting has not changed since the last start of the agent.
If you modified the timezone setting in the environment, please stop the agent and exectute 'emctl resetTZ agent' and also execute the script 'mgmt_target.set_agent_tzrgn' to get the value propagated to repository -----
Hope this could help you.

chrisHi Christian,
The background is a small bug in com.sap.nw.wpc.core.utils.Utils.getContentAsString where getInputStream is called on a KM resource (the correct forum for this question would have been portal-km), without closing the InputStream afterwards. Behind the scenes, getInputStream opens a JDBC connection which won't be closed afterwards.
So, if this still happens, it would be the best to open an OSS message to report this bug to SAP so that this can be fixed in the web page composer implementation. But on the other hand, this is now more than one year old - maybe this is already fixed. I cannot check, as I don't use WPC at the moment.
Best regards

Help Needed! java.lang.Exception: Unable to connect to server
I am trying to connect remotely to my office workstation and get the error "java.lang.Exception: Unable to connect to server". I have already upgraded to MountainLion, installed Java 7, and have also tried 3 different browsers (Safari, Firefox, Chrome) without success. I was able to login a few weeks ago and it has since stopped. My employer's IT support cannot understand how to help me and they're telling me I need to buy a PC.
Can someone help?Check whether your connection pool and datasource are really
started. Also check you have the correct JDNI name, NOT name,
for your datasource.

Java.lang.Exception: Overwriting file
Hi All,
We are having some trouble with one of our interfaces where XI creates files in append mode and gets the filename from the Payload. From last couple of days, we are getting the below error for some reason. There are no other extra config setups in the file CC.
Any help to figure out the issue would be highly appreciated.
2008-08-12 14:04:56 Error Attempt to process file failed with java.lang.Exception: Overwriting file '
host\folder\otci001\Archive\08122008_140453_OTCI001.txt' not allowed due to configuration flag
2008-08-12 14:04:56 Error Exception caught by adapter framework: Overwriting file '
host\folder\otci001\Archive\08122008_140453_OTCI001.txt' not allowed due to configuration flag.
Thanks,
AJ.HI,
Once the file is appended, are you doing any further processing with file. because the error "not allowed due to configuration flag" and as youhave said its not for al the messages indicates to single point.
If the attempt to append the data in file if in case that is in processing and have locked with some other process flow marked after XI...
You may also need to look into the FTP log details...for more details
Thanks

Java.lang.Exception
I am new to 10g DBA. Everything going well for me. But when I am trying to connect the host using the id and password I am getting the error message "*java.lang.Exception: IOException in sending Request :: Connection refused: connect*". Except this everything is OK in my OEM. Can anybody help me in this regard. I need some urgent help. Do I need install any other software or configuration?
First, try just quitting iTunes (you may want to restart your system) and try again.
If that doesn't fix the problem. click on your account name in the top right corner of the iTunes window. When a second window appears asking for your password, hit "logout" instead. Then click on the "login" in the top right corner again and type in your user name and password. Then try logging in again. If it still doesn't work, repeat the process two or three times and see if that will eventually clear the error (it did for other users who've had the same problem in the past).
Hope this helps.
