Configure the stms through internet
Hi guys,
I want to configure the STMS through internet.
My Development in my office and connected in internet.
My Quality and Production server are hosted in Data Center. So the way to configure the STMS through internet only. The QAS and PRD server are behind the Firewall.
What are the ports and protocol are playing while connect (configure ) the STMS ?
How TP will access the shared folder like sapmnt and saploc ?

I opened the gateway (3300) and dispatcher(3200) in the firewall , where QAS server is hosted. But still the STMS not working.
Added to above.. The DEV server not using SAProuter but QAS server using the SAProuter.

I had FF 4.0 Beta 12. While deleting some Wild Tangent games, everything went black and I haven't been able to get to Firefox since, (about 7-8 weeks. I click on the desktop icon for FF and I do get the FF screen with the FF icon on top left and the minimize, maximize and exit icons on the top right. However, the screen is just white and I can't open anything up. This is driving me crazy because the only way I can get to the internet is through IE and I hate it. I do get a crash report from FF and I fill it out and send it in with my email but I hear nothing from FF because I don;t think you get the report. Access to the time capsule harddrive through internet.
Hi everyone,
I bought a few months ago a Time capsule and it is working perfeclty as a network and hard drive under. It is connected to the router unde a bridge mode.
My prooblem is coming when I want to access through internet with my Macbook to my time capsule as it is not possible but according the time capsule specification it is possible to have acces to the harddrive through internet. So it means I have to change soemthing in the setp up on the router (P-2812HNU-F1) or in the time capsule.
Can anyone help me to set up the time capsule and the router accordingly to be able to have acces to the harddrivethrough internet?

If you are having issues you need to tell us more..
Sometimes it seems the TC in bridge will not work.. if that is the case, then you must see if you can rearrange your network so the TC is the main router.
Or you need to use a manual access method.
This requires using a static public IP (Check with your ISP.. this is by far the best method) or use a dyndns service.. and port forward 548 TCP to the TC.. there are thousands of posts and youtube videos with the info. Just look up "remote access time capsule"

Configuration of STMS in new server
Currently I'm configuring the STMS for new server. This is to replace the current development server. I would like to know is there any way I can import all the transport request, including those that are not yet release to the new server? If the old request number is not imported, then all the current program in progress will need to be redo by ABAPer, so is there any solution to this problem?

After this provide this system as the target system for the transports in old DEV system. Once you release these TRs, the data and cofiles for the particular transport is stored in the DIR_TRANS path data/cofiles.

Stms configuration is posible through sap*
Dear All,
I have to configure STMS in dev server but sapadmin is locked due to production password in 000 client. I m able to login to sap* and ddic but i m not getting any create option there so that i can create new user and assign sap_all and sap_new profile.
Can i cofigure STMS through SAP* in 000 client?Does sap recommend that?

As I said in the question when I click on the firefox link on the desktop this is what comes up (THE PROXY SERVER IS REFUSING CONNECTIONS Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that is refusing connections) but I can get connected through Internet Explorer. I have uninstalled firefox and reinstalled firefox with no difference.
I tried all that stuff and none of it helped. I can't load any of the google applications in firefox now. They pop up with this screen.

Now I tried a couple of other sites and they all seemed to work okay, and if necessary I could click understand the risks and still access the site, but no go with google. Considering I use my google account for my calendar and gmail a lot, I am highly disappointed with this new update. I hate using IE and really prefer to use Firefox. -

iChat and Messages 7 in Mountain Lion could do this as the remote end could be set to automatically accept a video invite.
The basic Auto Accept (Apple)script for this does have words to exclude Screen Sharing from this (but you could edit those out and save the edit and new Script).
In Messages 8 in Mavericks you no longer have access to the abilities to Auto Accept the Video and Audio invites as Apple removed the Alerts preference pane in the Messages Preferences.
This means that auto Accept can only be linked to the Messages Received option in the General Section of the app's Preferences.
There is a App within the Mac OS that can use the Apple Remote Desktop client engine that all Macs have.
This is the bit in the System Preferences > Sharing that can be set for Screen Sharing.
You then use the Finder > Go Menu > Go to Server and start with VNC://xxx.xxx.x.x
This is simple on your Mac the other computers on your LAN as they all start with IP addresses behind your router.
If the Finder is showing Shares then the option button that says Screen Share also invokes this method.
You can use it over the internet.
The VNC address then has to be the contact's Public IP address and their router set up to forward the data to their computer on their LAN.
This is where apps like TeamViewer come into their own.

When I go to my Juno on the web through Firefox, I am unable to use the tool features such as:
Font size / Color
Bolding
Italics
Bullets
Highlighting
just to name a few. Yet when I bring it up through Internet Explorer these features work, plus the way Firefox reads my Juno the tabs are distorted (the page is not formatted correctly, I contacted Juno they said I should contact my modem company AT& T they said no so you are my last resort.. Please help resolve my issue, THANK YOU in advance for assisting with this matter.It is up to Juno to enable Midas, the Rich Text Editor which is built into Firefox, with one little line of code on every web page that has RTE for IE. There's nothing that you can do to turn that feature on your self, it has to be coded on each web page that has Rich Text Editing.

Their ignorance probably lies with their staff programmers only knowing how to do it for IE ''(their training and certificates are probably from the Microsoft cabal)'', and not realizing that Gecko and WebKit apps each have their own Rich Text Editor's, which require their own small line of code to enable those Editor's. -
I have crawled the UCM through SES, but when I try to search on the Search screen nothing is searched.

But at the end I need to configure the identity management for OID not for Content Server. I have activated the OID plug-in in SES, but nothing is searched in both the foloowing cases:
1) When I login with a OID user
2) When i do not login, even the public data is not displayed.
What could be the problem??Thanks for the reply. Authorization was use source ACL, and I tried logging in as every user that had access to the content and could not bring up anything.
However, this is no longer an issue as we are not going to be using this content database. We are going to be using the new Beehive collaboration instead. I don't know if there will be a different plugin for SES or what, but it should be interesting.

we have a movie downloaded on a laptop connected to the internet pluged into our router in the basement and an apple tv upstairs trying to play the movie through home sharing but it wont play. can anyone tell me whats wrong? it comes to the last loading page where it shows the desscription of the movie befor it acually plays.
It can come about without any change done by the user, and it's not just from other networks. The placement of the router can also affect performance. Also make sure router is up to date.
Apart from that would be the reboots. -
I am having trouble setting up my time capsule. the amber light is flashing. i have a Verizon FIOS network that i use for the internet (WiFi) and do not want to configure the Time Capsule to do that function. I just want the Time Capsule to back up.
Simple.. bridge the TC.. in the apple utility in the NAT and DHCP area.
Plug it into the FIOS router.. you can turn off wireless in the TC if you want.. or use it.. it can work faster if you are nearby and can select 5ghz.. but up to you. -
Configuration to send the smartform through fax

I have used CONVERT_OTF_AND_FAX and SO_OBJECT_SEND FM's to send the smartform through fax.After executing SO_OBJECT_SEND function module,I am getting sy-subrc alue as 9(OBJECT_NOT_SEND).I am able to send the document through fax.But when I click on display in SOST transaction it is just printing the output of the smartform.It is not coming in PDF format.
The code looks fine.I think there is some problem with confuration settings.Is there any configuration to be done to send the smartform output through fax?

Actually,my requirement is to send the smartform output through email with medium 'external send'.I have done some coding for that.it is working fine and I am able to send the smartform through email and open the attachment in PDF format.
But if the email id of the recipient is not present then the smartform output has to be sent through fax with the same medium 'external send'.
So I have done some coding to send the smartform through fax when the email id is not present.
I am able to send the output of smartform through fax.But when I clicked on display in SOST transaction,it is not coming in PDF format.It is coming in RAW format.
Is it possible to send the smartform output through fax with medium 'external send'?

A friend used my computer to access his gmail account. I had to sign out of my gmail account but am now back. In the course of trying to help him access his account I opened Internet access.
After it appeared that my gmail account was ok I opened my Earthlink account through the desktop icon as usual. However, my password was not longer there and it was not opening in Foxfire. When I clicked on Foxfire my Earthlink account was there as was my password (hidden of course but saved) I want to be able to have a separate icon for Earthlink that includes my password. How do I do that? And I want to delete the one that appreas to go through Internet Explorer.Was the shortcut created with Firefox, or Win IE?
