It seems the WebLogic Server plug-ins for Apache web server are available for download only through My Oracle Support (MetaLink)
Check below:
http://www.oracle.com/technology/deploy/security/wls-security/2793.html
The page mentions that the web server plug-in is available for download via Doc ID # 7825156.
You can also have a look at http://www.oracle.com/technology/deploy/security/alerts/alert_cve2008-3257.html
Hope this helps.

    Hi,
    You can download the latest apache plugins from the below link.
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/ias/htdocs/wls_main.html
    Click on the "see all files" options of the Oracle WebLogic Server 10.3, and you can download the same under the
    Mandatory for 10.3 installers.
    Cheers,

  • Configuring Apache HTTP Server with Oracle Weblogic Server plugin

    Hello friends,
    I have a scenario of OIM 9.1.0.2 on Oracle Application Server 11g and Weblogic Server Apache HTTP Server.
    Oracle WebLogic Server is configured in cluster (node1 and node2), also use the Oracle Weblogic Server plugin for integration with Apache.
    One of the tests is to lose one of the nodes for the apache plugin redirects the node that has less overhead.
    When the mode is node1 and node2 stop start mode and try to access the management console of Oracle Identity Manager, the plugin sometimes redirects to the other active node, and on another occasion shows the oracle management console identity manager without the colors of the basic look and feel.
    Deputy of the Apache HTTP Server log, do you expect your comments to solve this case?

    "One of the tests is to lose one of the nodes for the apache plugin redirects the node that has less overhead."
    Note that the plug-in does a round robin load balancing, for example, in the case of three server (1,2,3) it does 1-2-3-1-2-3-1...
    with server 3 going down it does 1-2-1-2-1...
    An example configuration (with SSL off) looks as follows:
    LoadModule weblogic_module   "/home/oracle/weblogic12.1.1/apache/modules/mod_wl.so"
    <IfModule weblogic_module>
         ConnectTimeoutSecs 10

    "the plugin sometimes redirects to the other active node"
    This is somewhat strange, do you have session binding turned off?
    "and on another occasion shows the oracle management console identity manager without the colors of the basic look and feel."
    This could happen due to mime types (not really sure just a hunch). Here is a general story on this concept: https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Properly_Configuring_Server_MIME_Types
    and the apache module: http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/mod_mime.html

  • How to deploy essbase, eas, workspace in weblogic for sso

    Hello,
    I configured SSO on weblogic 10.3 without worries, and I deployed foundation also when I run shared services I receive the error message: You Could not be authenticated with the credentials Provided EPMCSS-00301 but when I create a url pattern and assigns a user to interop in shared service application at deployement in weblogic.
    When I open the shared services I have more error message but when I run workspace with the same message appears workspace but when I performed the same operation that I made at Interop I get an error 401 Unauthorized .
    My question is how deployed workspace, essbase, eas to use the sso? my foundation is already deployed deploys but when I follow the same procedure as that of foundation for essbase or workspace I have not a single authentication.
    I thank you more for your answer

  • Installing and Configuring the Apache HTTP Server Plug-In

    Hi,
    I am using WL10.3 in Linux machine.
    I have an environment where I have a single WL server in a domain that is deployed with the web-application
    And I have another domain where I have two managed servers in a cluster that is deployed with the business.
    Now, I want to configure a Apache HTTP server to make it work as a proxy along with the weblogic.
    In my current scenario, the stand alone server proxies the req to the cluster and that is defined in a jndi.properties.
    Now, what should I do if I want to use the Apache
    I have the following questions:
    1. Forget about my env, generally how can I install and configure Apache HTTP plug-in?
    I see we already having libproxy_61.so file inside /bea/wlserver_10.3/server/plugin/linux/i686
    Do i need to install the patch even then as told in http://www.oracle.com/technology/deploy/security/wls-security/2793.html?
    2. While am adding the lines in httpd.conf ,
    LoadModule weblogic_module modules/mod_wl_22.so
    Should I put ibproxy_61.so instead of mod_wl_22.so in this line?
    3. Just by configuring the proxy, the session replication and load balancing will be ensured?
    4.And for my configuration as stated at the beginning few lines, what can be the best architecture?
    Your help is really appreciated.

  • Apache Proxy Plugin (2.22) and Weblogic 9.2 - using SSL

    Hello,
    I need some help configuring Apache 2.22 to proxy to Weblogic 9.2. I'm able to do this without SSL. But when I introduce SSL into the mix, it does not work. Here's what I'm doing:
    1. I set the secure port in the httpd.conf file (7002 is my secure port) - this is within a IfModule mod_weblogic.c tag:
    WebLogicHost WLServer
    WebLogicPort 7002
    2. I download the secure certificate for my weblogic site by double-clicking on the secure lock icon in IE6. When the Certificate window opens, I go to the Details tab and click the Copy to File button. In the Certificate Download Wizard, I click Next and select Base-64 encoded X.509 (.CER) option and click Next again. Then I enter a path and filename for the certificate file and click Next and then Finish.
    3. I enter the following parameters in the httpd.conf file (this is not in any tag like IfModule - is that wrong?):
    SecureProxy ON
    TrustedCAFile "C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\WLServer_TrustedCA.cer"
    4. I restarted Weblogic and Apache
    5. When I try to go to my web site, I get the following error:
    Failure of server APACHE bridge:
    No backend server available for connection: timed out after 10 seconds or idempotent set to OFF.
    Can someone please help?
    Thanks much,
    Alex

    Thanks Hussain for replying. I was able to set this up using Max Button's post (see my earlier post from today). The parameters I set inside the <Location> tag are:
    SecureProxy ON
    WLProxySSL ON
    RequireSSLHostMatch false
    TrustedCAFile C:\PROGRA~1\APACHE~1\Apache2.2\WLServer_TrustedCA.pem
    EnforceBasicConstraints false
    Thanks for looking into this anyhow!

  • Weblogic apache HTTP configuration question

    Hi All,
    Here is my current configuration:
    Oracle Weblogic 10.01
    Linux Centos 5
    Apache HTTP 2.2
    LoadModule weblogic_module modules/mod_wl_22.so
    <Location /TESTCRM>
    <IfModule mod_weblogic.c>
    SetHandler weblogic-handler
    WeblogicHost 192.168.100.20
    WebLogicPort 8002
    CookieName SAGPHSESSIONID
    Debug ON
    KeepAliveEnabled ON
    WLSocketTimeoutSecs 5
    WLLogFile "D:/Apache2.2/logs/wlproxy.log"
    </IfModule>
    </Location>
    It works fine. http://localhost/TESTCRM load the application located on the Weblogic server.
    Is there way to exclude certain directory from being loaded from weblogic server?
    We want resource folder to be loaded from local apache machine.
    http://localhost/TESTCRM/resource (resource folder is located on the apache htdoc folder)
    How can I exclude the resource folding loading via weblogic module? Is that possible? What alternative option do I have? I am new with apache so any help will really appropriate it.
    Here is wlproxy.log (error it trying to load resource from weblogic server but it getting 404 since it does not exist there)

    i am novice,
    i want to configure apache and weblogic in windows 2000
    weblogic version is 6.1
    apache version is 2.0
    how to do?

    George,
    I would take the following 'first steps'
    1)Install Apache20 on your Windows machine following the Apache online documentation
    http://httpd.apache.org/docs-2.0/misc/tutorials.html
    2)Make sure you can 'serve up' static HTML content from your Apache Server
    3)Install Weblogic Server per our online documentation
    http://edocs.bea.com/wls/docs61/install/index.html
    4)Also, make sure you can 'serve up' both static and dynamic (e.g., JSP) content

    Hi,
    I have an apache server and a bea weblogic application server. For security reasons, I wold like to configure a bea plugin on the apache server to redirect the client http/https requests from the apache2 server to bea application server.
    I have gone through the bea documentation and configure my apache2 httpd.conf as follows
    LoadModule weblogic_module modules/mod_wl_20.so
    <IfModule mod_weblogic.c>
    WebLogicHost myweblogic.server.com
    WebLogicPort 7001
    MatchExpression *.jsp
    </IfModule>
    <Location /weblogic>
    WebLogicHost myweblogic.server.com
    WebLogicPort 7001
    SetHandler weblogic-handler
    PathTrim /weblogic
    </Location>
    Then Restarted the apache2 and tryied to acces bea application through http://myweblogic.server.com/weblogic/
    and http://myweblogic.server.com/something.jsp
    It did not work
    httpd is started propery.

    The Web server plug-ins do not natively support outbound SSL connections
    yet(i.e. SSL from the plug-in to WebLogic). This is a feature for version
    6.0. You can use SSL from the browser to Apache or from the browser to
    WebLogic directly.
    The majority of our customers use strict firewall rules to protect the
    traffic between Apache and WebLogic. If they are paranoid, they use an SSL
    proxy or a VPN product.

    Hello,
    I want to know how to connect Apache 1.3.12 with mod_ssl to BEA WebLogic5.1.0 on Solaris via HTTPS. I have heard that this can only work over t3...
    is that true? If so, how can it be done securely? If that isn't the case,
    how can httpd.conf/weblogic.conf be configured on the Apache server to talk
    to the WebLogic server on port 7002? Both of the machines I am using are
    running Solaris 7 with necessary patches. I have installed SP5 for WebLogic
    and I have copied mod_wl.so and mod_wl_ssl.o to the Apache server for
    inclusion as modules.

    The two servers communicate correctly over HTTP, but I want to be able toserve some JSPs via HTTPS from the WebLogic server through the Apache web
    server. I have generated all the required CA and server certificates for
    each server, and they both individually answer HTTPS requests, but do not
    work when an HTTPS request is sent to the Apache server for a JSP that is
    served from the WebLogic server. I read somewhere in the documentation for
    5.1.0 that WebLogic will communicate via HTTPS to various web and proxy
    servers.

  • Error in configuring apache plug in with weblogic 8.1.5

    I tried to configure Apache 2.2 plugin with weblogic 8.1 SP 5 in Linux ES 4.0 . I am getting the following error while loading weblogic_module in httpd.conf file in Apache server (restarting apache server after putting entries in httpd.conf).. The error is httpd: Syntax error on line 414 of /usr/local/apache2/conf/httpd.conf: API module structure `weblogic_module' in file /usr/local/apache2/modules/mod_wl_20.so is garbled - perhaps this is not an Apache module DSO?
    Did anyone got this error before?

    The solution is for BEA to provide the plug-in. Probably a few minutes of a work for BEA developer. Weblogic 9.0 has it.

  • Setting up the Apache HTTP Plugin for several BEA Servers

    Hey together,
    i would like to setup the apache http plugin for several bea-servers.
    I am running apache 1.x on my hp-ux system. There are 2 bea-server-domains on this box and both should be proxied by the plugin simultaneously.
    As far as i know it isn't possible to run 2 or more instances of the apache webserver. I heard of virtualhosts, maybe i should try this one out.
    Somebody knows how to deal with this problem or does any1 know if virtualhosts could cope with my needs?
    Thanks in advance

    Ok here i am again and i'm stuck. Here my wishes again:
    there are 2 weblogic-instances (domains) running on a machine xxx, instance A listening on port 8041, instance B listening on port 8051. I want to configure apache virtualhosts in combination with weblogic plugins, so that request with /ld will be sent to instance A while requests with /ldd will be sent to instance B. Both are no clusters. Therefore i tried it with the following configuration (httpd.conf):
    <VirtualHost xxx:8080>
         DocumentRoot "/opt/hpws/apache/htdocs"
         ServerName xxx:8080
         <IfModule mod_weblogic.c>
         WebLogicHost xxx
         WebLogicPort 8041
         #MatchExpression *
         #PathPrepend=/test2
         </IfModule>
         <Location /ld>
         SetHandler weblogic-handler
         PathTrim /ld
         </Location>
    </VirtualHost>
    # VirtualHost2 = xxx:8090
    <VirtualHost xxx:8090>
         DocumentRoot "/opt/hpws/apache/htdocs"
         ServerName xxx:8090
         <IfModule mod_weblogic.c>
         WebLogicHost xxx
         WebLogicPort 8051
         #MatchExpression *
         #PathPrepend=/test2
         </IfModule>
         <Location /ldd>
         SetHandler weblogic-handler

    Doesnt really work. Can some1 help please?

  • Apache HTTP proxying for load balancing only to a group of non-clustered WL servers

              Hi,
              We're running WL Server 6.1 SP 2 on Solaris 2.8.
              For the Apache HTTP proxy plugin, if you use the WebLogicCluster http.conf option,
              do the WL servers you want to load balance across have to be part of a WebLogic
              cluster (if you are prepared to do without failover, as I know it would need to be
              a proper WL cluster to replicate session info for failover). Can you load balance
              across a group of non-clustered WL servers, and maintain the user session to the
              one WL server so that it doesn't switch between servers on alternate requests for
              the same user session, or must the servers be configured as a WebLogic cluster?
              Paul
              We find that if you have a collection of WL servers that are not configured as a
              cluster, that it will load balance alternate requests to each server, but it will
              not pin a user to a single machine according to their session so for 2 servers, 2
              differetn sessions get created, one on each machine.
              Is this because it doesn't normally do this, but sends the user alternately to a
              primary then secondary which works in a cluster because the session is replicated.
              I thought the secondary was only used when the primary failed.

              You don't have to use the clustering option. To get failover, you'll have to
              use the JDBC persistence option of WL.
              > We find that if you have a collection of WL servers that are not

              The primary/secondary stuff requires clustering. If Apache continues to
              "load balance" after the first request, you need to either use JDBC session
              persistence or use a different load balancer (like mod_jk for Apache or a
              h/w load balancer with support for sticky).
