Configuring Business Package

Hi ,
I am in the process of configuring business package.I want to enable the employee bank details information iview.I have install the business packages.
I have created till the JCO Connections they are working perfectly and i am struck at creation of system objects. Could some body please tell me what i next step i have do .
Points will be rewarded.

Transport process for configured ESS/MSS business packages to QA system

Hello Gurus!!
We have configured ESS and MSS business packages on NW 2004s portal DEV system. Everything is working fine now. Could anyone please explain me the process of transporting the configured business package content to the QA System. I know the general transport procedure for transporting content from one system to another system.
But wanted to make sure what it is like for transporting the business packages, for which lot of backend configurations have been done.
Any help in this regard will greatly be appreciated with valuable SDN points.

Business Package Business productivity pack

Hi,
I have already installed and configured business package for CRM 4.0 60.2.3 in my portal. I just want to know that if it is really required to install and configure Business Productivity Pack (60.1) and also Business productivity pack SAP R/3 Integration (60.1 along with my business package.
I mean is it mandatory to install these two business packages along with or is it just an extra functionality (worksets and iviews) that comes with this two business packages.
could someone please help me in this regard to enlighten me..

My understanding of the business productivity package is as follows:
You can use the both the CRM Business Package and the Business Productivity Package together or use them standalone.
The Business Productivity Pack is a EP6.0 package whereas the Business Package 60.2.x is based on EP5.0 migrated content.
You would import them together because there are some roles in the CRM Business Package which are not available in the Business Productivity Pack.
You will find that the roles in the Business Productivity Pack are prefixed with the following: 'com.ssap.pct.crm.v02.'
I have been using the roles with the 'v02' prefix assuming they are the latest ones.

Question about "BUSINESS PACKAGE FOR COMMUNICATION"

We want to configure "BUSINESS PACKAGE FOR COMMUNICATION_50_4_5" for EP 6.0 SP2. We have imported mentioned package in our EP 6.0. There are no errors in logfile.
In document "Transfer Collaboration Rooms from EP 5.0 to EP 6.0" (item 3.8) is described how we can create and configure systems for "Communication Framework", "Address Book Component", "Java Mail Connector" and "Mail Server", that was mentioned in documentation to "BUSINESS PACKAGE FOR COMMUNICATION_50_4_5".
But we can't create those systems because portal's archives: "com.sapportals.pct.comm.systems" and "com.sapportals.pct.col.sync.systems" are absent in our system (System Administration > System Configuration > System > Portal Content. Right click on directory and select "New From Portal Archive").
What we can do in this situation?

Hi Slava,
the Communication Package has been discontinued, it it not supported with EP6.
For the Coll.Rooms you have to configure the Groupware Connector according to the Admin Guide.

HIi Siddharth, thx for confirming, this was my guess.
It also appears that much of the new ECM analytics integrated with BW in EP5 is being moved under the TMS 1.51 (Talent Management Specialist) Application.
If they are moving ECM reports there, I don't understand why you would not just incorporate all the BSP links / folder structures so that 'BP Compensation Specialist 60.2' could be officially retired.

Business Package transport

Hi,
I have imported and configured business package in devlopment environment. Now I would like to know the best practice to move the changes from devlopment box to quality ,
option1: again installing BP in quality and transporting from dev to quality
option2: only transport from dev to quality (no need to install BP again in qa)

did you make a copy or a delta link of the iviews and make changes on that or did you make changes on the SAP iviews ?
When you did changes in the SAP IViews, transport everything. (Not best practice to use the standard SAP objects)
When you made a copy / Delta Link, then you need to install the BP once, and just transport the iviews in your companies namespace (com.company).

I am getting some problem while running catalog status application, The message is displaying as <b>"You are not a supplier user. Make sure your user profile is associated with a company."</b>
I have already created a company in portal UMe and assigned the user to that company.

How to configure the KMC and Business packages in trail version 7.0

I have installed the Sneak Preview version 7.00 SP9 from the sdn.
If i want to start working on the KMC
What i need to install and configure for KMC and collabrations.
If i need to install, where i will get the installables and documentaion.
In the same . I would like to install the business packages also in the same server. where i will get the insallables and related dcoumentation.

We are using HTTPS and SSL confined but man in the middle types of attack is happening here there using one tool based one there taking the Request and Response.The below given cookie are available in that request.
According to this , set-cookie: JSESSIONMARKID , JSESSIONID and MYSAPSSO2 values are user login time it will change every time are not.
After capturing above response HTTP/1.1 302 etc , when user gives valid credentials and logs in ,
and now ill give wrong password and wrong user id and on click of log on button, i can intercept the request and response coming from the server and when i replace this valid response stil i am able to loggin in to the portal , which should not happen as JESSIONMARKID is changed , server should not allow , but it is loggin in.Standard Login page also allowing to login in this case.
My server version is EP 7.0 SP 12.
Please suggest a solution so that if we restric the hacker at this stage , no matter he can never hijack the sesiona and login with invalid username and password.

Error in configuring standard ESS business package

Hello Experts,
We are on Portal 7.0 and ECC 6.0.
We have deployed BP_ERP5ESS 1.0 SP 15 SCA file in portal.
When we tried configuring the business package we could not find the standard JCo connections which comes along after installation.
We tried creating it manually. But when we tried executing the WDJ applications it throws the below error:

System Configuration for CRM Business Package 4.0-60.2 in Portal

Hi All,
We have configured CRM Business Package(4.0-60.2) on EP6 SP11.
Also created the SAP_CRM system with required fields.
But I am confused with where do I have to specify the ISA related parameters?
Should I create new systems with the aliases specified in CRM Business Package Admin guide(i.e.according to Web Entry Point names)For e.g. ISA_B2B,ISA_B2R,SHOP_ADMIN,USER_ADMIN etc. or I have to specify this in SAP_CRM system itself?

Configuring CRM business Package - 4.0 60.2.3 and ISA on EP6SP11

Hi all,
We have installed CRM business Package - 4.0 60.2.3 on EP6 SP11. For which we have created SAP_CRM system, filled in the all required parameters like application host, gateway service, client no, user authentication type etc.( Not ISA related parameters).
Now some of the iViews throws "GenericISAComponent" error. I suppose its because we haven't configure ISA system for the same.
Can anybody help me in how to configure ISA System for CRM business package. Do i have to create new system or i have to fill in ISA parameters of SAP_CRM system.
