Configuring Captivate with SAP

We are interested in using Captivate for training of SAP
basic functions as well as more complex transactions. We are most
interested in finding out whether it is possible to enable
Captivate files to be called up in SAP's application help (while
the program is on) in the same way that you can call up an InfoPak
file.
Is anyone out there using Captivate in this way or in place
of InfoPak or as an additional training resource with InfoPak?

I have all new installation CDs of Oracle 10g. in order to work with SAP 4.7, first i would like to install this oracle with its own setup file than will install the database instance from sap 4.7 CDs.
but before doing all these, i would like to get confirmation about its feasibility. will this work for me ?? are you sure ??

Log on to Infoview with SAP authentication

Hi Gurus ,
Please can some one provide me documentation , to configure , Infoview with SAP authentication .
I have R/3 system where i have a datasource and then one Remote cube in BW . On the cube developed a BEx Query . I want to log into Infoview using SAP authentication .Now, i am able to login into Infoview using Enterprise as authentication .

Configuration Email in SAP R/3 4.6 C SR2

I have some doubts in a particulary issue...
I try to configure the sending mail from SAP, but in note 455140 which is the reference note for configuration SMTP with SAP, it refers that process is for SAP Basis component above 6 and following... and after i try solve the problem with many search i do not had sucess ...so my question is:
How i configure this feature for my R/3 release which is 4.6 C of SAP Basis component... ??

For 6.10 and below you can't use the SMTP interface because it doesn't exist. There was a technology called the Internet Mail Gateway that was used prior to 6.10. Here is a blog that I wrote on the subject:

Hi Vikas,
MM configuration for PO collaboration is depend upon the your requirements. e.g. You want to upload the confirmations send by the supplier from SNC web UI to your R/3 system you have to use confirmation control key while creating PO in R/3 and make corresponding supplier confirmation control either optional or mandatory in SNC configuration. Default provided by SAP is optional.
Remember supplier can create confirmations only if ther either optional or mandatory.

How to configure SolMan for interfacing with SAP Quality Center

Hello everyone,
Our company has only recently acquired and activated the permanent license for SAP Quality Center by HP. We would like QC to interface with SAP Solution Manager. My question is how to perform the configuration steps to make the interface work with Quality Center? I need to set up the IMG addon SM_QC_AD, which can be found under the transaction SPRO, but I need documentation on which steps to take and why.
I am often referred to SAP note 1059350 and/or the configuration guide, but these only say that I should configure the IMG but not how.
There is a SAP tutor available on the service marketplace, but I think it's rather uninformative.
Can I find better documentation elsewhere?

Help with Apache Reverse Proxy configuration with SAP Portal and SAP Webgui

Dear Experts,
I have an issue configuring Apache to work with SAP Portal and ERP webgui. Accessing Portal through Reverse Proxy is working fine. But the problem arises when we try to open an iView ERP webgui transaction page from Portal with the Reverse Proxy. Have anyone implemented similar requirements and could advice on the configuration required on the Apache side? Thank you

Agree with you..I forgot to mentioned the step to accomplished the my UWL Issue.
I have manually added the Universal Worklist & Workflow two worksets in the system admin roles >> system configuraitons under content admin. then it was visible in the system configuraitons.

Spindle configuration with SAP B1

Forum,
When installing spindle (document manager) in conjuction with SAP B1 you have a section in Spindle called 'Options' where you configure for multi-user environment which contain forms, document automation rules and operation etc.. what would this path normally be for SAP???

I have tried using older versions of Captivate to create SAP demonstrations and simulations, and wasn't particularly pleased with the output. My employer is happy for me to upgrade to Captivate 4. Before I do, can anyone share their experience of using Captivate 4 with SAP?

I have no clue what SAP actually is. So I'm going to ask that you clarify your request a smidge.
I'm wondering if you are asking if Captivate coexists with SAP so you may record what goes on with SAP?
Or is SAP a delivery mechanism similar to or possibly even a Learning Management System (LMS) and you are asking if Captivate content is easily delivered by and communicates nicely with this system.

In addition to that Harrison told you,if you want automatic syndication of records ,then you must have to use syndication server.In case of syndication server the path of output file is always fixed and you cannot configure it.Path will be as follows:-

If u want scheduled syndication of records(i.e. in batch mode) ,then u can use syndicator batch.And for manual syndication ,use syndicator .Both of these components will syndicate file where ever u want/specify on the file system.
