Configuring GF4MX460 TV-OUT for Premier

Hello All,
I would like to know the steps I need to take to get Adobe Premier 6.5 outputting directly from its timeline straight to the TV-Out on my Geforce 4. I have managed to get everything else working in the past: dual display, (for both TV and monitor), cloning, analog capture, etc. so I know drivers aren't the problem. But I know Premier supports live full screen previews straight through a DV firewire connection. And their help file suggests the same is possible utilizing the TV-Out on these video cards.
Basically I want to avoid having to export to a 640x480 AVI file or equivalent, running it on Windows Media Player or equivalent in full screen mode on my secondary display(in this case a TV) while recording to tape. Hope y'all can help soon!! :-|

display settings->settings->advanced->GF4 MX
In the nVIEW tab enable clone mode and in the video overlay set the secondary display as the full screen device.

I have a WRT54G v1.0 wireless router. Two or three times this last year I found the router had lost all the configuration setup I had completed, including : signal beacon off, ssid, WEP encryption, MAC filetering, etc. Can someone tell me if this is a hardware problem, a firmware problem or something else?

Routers seem to be very sensitive to electrical noise and spikes. If you are not using a high quality surge protector with RFI/EMI filtering (such as the Belkin Gold Series), then get one. If you are using a high quality protector and you still have this problem, and if upgrading the router's firmware does not fix the problem, then you need a new router. Routers that "forget" their settings are not secure.

How to configure inactivity time out in 11i for external DMZ server

Hi All,
We are currenlty enablling DMZ functionality for some of internet applications. Generally a user will travel through Oracle Portal to access these applications.
We want to set a seperate inactivity time out for user comming via external server. We manage to do this for Portal and SSO. But enable to find one for ebusiness suite. The idea is if a user access these applications from pulic PC and fogot to log out then if the system doesn't time out in 5-10 mins then it raise a risk of access to application by unautherized users.
Any advise on this will be of great help.
Incase this is no the right forum for these questions then if you know please advise where to direct this query.

Thanks for the quick notes, The challange we have is most of these setups are common for both external and internal servers. Change in one will impact the behaviour for others. What we are looking at is some thing like this. Unless I am missing some thing here.
User login using external server over DMZ will time out in 10 mins assessing an application (i.e. Employee self service) where in if the same user access the same application using internal server then the session can be alive for say 60 mins.
Do you think I am thinking on the right track. or am i missing any point here

Configuring the authentication scheme for a web application

Hi all,
We have a requirement to configure the authentication scheme for a web application where some set of users should access the application using basic LDAP (userid/password) authentication and some using digital certificate authentication.
Since the deployment descriptor (web.xml) allows only one directive for auth-method in logic-config, we want to know if there is any other way to achieve this requirement. We are thinking of a custom login module approach. But we are not able to figure out how to configure the auth-method at runtime from the login servlet.
Please let us know if there is any other approach to achieve this.
I will be thankful if any body shares any specific solution to this issue.

Roll out for new plant need some informations

We are going to roll out for our 2nd plant. So I need your help.
I am explaining the scenario,
Current scenario is: we have two manufacturing plants (ex:-one in noida and another in gurgaon) and in both plants we have six product line (in A plant=3, in B plant=3).
For both plants we are using one Company code (1000). and we are not using the business area.
But now the problem is this, that management wants separate reporting (P&l statement and Balance sheet) Plant wise and Product wise.
We decide to create a separate co- code for 2nd plant and six business area for product lines.
(In this regards I need your suggestions that how can we define the enterprise structure)
Please tell me
1. what new configurations we need to be done for new co-code?
2. In which areas business area will be affected and how and where we will assign the business area?
3. As we are doing transaction in sap since last year and we are doing this roll out in mid of 2008 so what will be the impact on the business.
4. How we will transfer the transactional data from one co-code to another, because data of both plants lies in previous co-code(1000).
Data like:- A. Transfer of General ledger balances
          B. Transfer of open line items of General ledgers
          C. Transfer of asset and accumulated depreciation from one co code to another.
          D. Controlling transfer postings.
          E. Customer / Vendor open items and balances transfer posting. Etc
If someone knew about something more to be taken care of, please guide so that we can successfully complete the roll out.
Please advice me, its urgent. if any one can give me his mobile to make me understood i can call to him .

Why do we have to create a new user for the server which is consuming the web service? We already have an user "ADSUser" defined for the Web AS server which has ADS services deployed.
I have opened this thread to solve the previous unanswered question I posted on SDN Empty area in place of Interactive form. .
One more thing the adobe print forms of ESS [Total Compensation Statement and Salary Statement] are rendering properly, only the ones with Interactive ability or not.

1. To access the NW04s configuration guide,
 - Go to https://service.sap.com/adobe
 - On the left frame (tree), under Adobe > Media Library > Documentation
 - On the right had pane you will find the link to the NW04s Configuration guide
2. The link that you have mentioned below details the steps required to be carried out on the client machine that consumes the Adobe Document Services. In our case that is the j2ee engine on which your Web Dynpro application is running. It could be the same physical machine with two different j2ee instances hosting Web Dynpro and ADS or it could be two different physical machine or a single machine having a single instance of j2ee engine hosting both the Web Dynpro and the ADS.
You do not have to create a separate username and a password on the consuming machine but you need to configure the Web Service client proxy to point to the ADS (maybe hosted on a different machine) with the username and the password created on the ADS server. As you have mentioned, you have already created such an user on the ADS (ADSUser). This user authentication on the client machine (consuming server - Web Dynpro) would be required at the runtime by the j2ee engine to authenticate itself with the ADS.

Hi Venkat,
What you want to print. if you only want to print out the transaction done thr movement type 561. If you are not going through any development then follow the under mentioned process :
Go to MB51- Select the material, Plant & storage location- put the movement type 561 & 562- select the ranges of date- execute it. System will give the report. Then for print out go to List tab and select the print. After clicking on the print tab, you have to fill some informations like- Output device- Put Locl then No of copies-then click on continue. System will give you to select the printer. Just select and print.
If this is enough then ok otherwise inform me.

i created webservices for session bean.created webservices are consumed by webdynpro client.
when the webdynpro client consuming it.if the response takes more than 60 sec the webservices are timed out so i want to set the time out for my webservice.
how can i set the time out (more 60 sec)for my webserive(for one service)?

The customizing path is shown as below.

Configure webservices as datasource for coherence

Is it possible to directly configure webservices as datasource for coherence. So that after a preconfigured period of time, the cache refreshes itself. If yes samples/ documentation for the same.

you can do almost that, but not exactly that with out-of-the-box features only.
You can use the refresh-ahead feature of the read-write backing map with which a get to a key will cause the refresh of the entry value from the cache loader which will be seen by the subsequent get to the same key.
Alternatively you can schedule your own periodic processing with some timer which fetches data from the backing storage and it puts it into the cache.
A mix of the two would be to have the periodic processing issue the get requests which trigger the refresh-ahead behaviour.

Upgrading to iMac 5K or Mac Pro. Is there a list of Graphics Cards that are optimized for Premier Pro CC?

A couple of years ago I remember Adobe listed Graphics Cards that were optimized to work best with Rendering in Premier Pro and other applications. I have Creative Cloud so I have access to latest versions.
The iMac 5K Retina has a choice of AMD Radeon R9 M290X and M295X.
The Mac Pro has Options of AMD FirePro d300, D500 etc.
Does anyone have any idea where I can find out what graphic cards are optimized for Premier Pro an other applications from Adobe?

If you are not in the 4K business --> I would go for the 32 GB & 27" iMac w/o Retina, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M mit 4 GB GDDR5 (CUDA support) will give you quite a good performance, i.e. with a Thunderbolt connected Raid6 system your 2K projects (including some color correction and other plugins) will work well and you can even use the system as 4k starter/test system.
If you in the 4K business you could use a full blown iMac Retina system with a GPU AMD Radeon R9 M295X mit 4 GB GDDR5 together with an already mentioned TB Raid6 system. As described from the forum-compatriots, this non-CUDA card doesn't perform too well on GPU accelerated functions of PPro --> but --> search this forum... you will be surprised....some workflows are nearly unaffected....
If you are in the high end 4K footage busine$$ and you apply a lot of external color correction to your 4k footage (e.g. BM DaVinci) I would go for a MPro with 2 D700 cards.
