How to Configure HTTPs sender communication in XI

Hi,
I have a request for new interface setup, in which i need to configure HTTPs sender communication from a B2B server to SAP system. Scenario is to receive XML 0rders from HTTPs B2B system and convert to Idoc and post it to SAP.
Please could some one help on what needs to be done in XI for receiving XML order files from a HTTPs connection and what further needs to be done for processing to Idoc.

For testing purpose you can use the HTTP client and paste your payload.

You would need make sure that SSL is enabled on the ABAP stack . I rememver seeing a blog on SDN that shows how this is to be done.
Once you have SSL enabled in the ABAP stack ( you would also need to install the cryptographic libraries as a part of this exercise) , you would be able to use HTTPS and also provide the necessary digital certificates etc.
I have tried this with SOAP adapters etc but havent with the HTTP adapter but I dont see why this should be any different.

There is no special configuration for Project Server to have the IIS enabled, it follows the typical sharepoint SSL enablement, we might need some mor edetails on how your NLB is done is it hardware based, software based ? it all depends how you want
to architecht the system, you can enable the Https either on NLB or WFE, again depending upon how you want to enable it, you will need to install the certificates on both WFE or on NLB

Defining a RESTful svc with delimited params using the "Configure HTTP Svc" wizard in FB 4 beta 2

I am using Flash Builder 4 beta 2. I would like to create and configure a RESTful HTTP service that uses delimited parameters. The instructions here,

However, when I follow these instructions by specifying a URL to an operation, including the delimited query parameters for the service operation inside '{}" braces, the Configure HTTP Service wizard does *not* populate the Parameter table with the parameters enclosed in "{}" braces. Further, even if I add the parameters manually to the Parameter table, the requests go out using the URL encoded string literals (e.g. "http://restfulService/%7Bitems%7D/%7BitemID%7D") rather than with the parameter values passed to the service request method.
As I'm new to Flex, I assume I am doing something wrong. I have searched the forums and the bug database for some insight into what might be my problem, and I have not come across anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the info. From a comment I posted in the corresponding documentation (http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Flex/4.0/AccessingData/WSbde04e3d3e6474c4-668f02f4120d422cf08- 7ffe.html#WSbde04e3d3e6474c4-757e06e1253c6333fe-8000), Randy Nielsen of Adobe contacted me and has requested that I (AT&T) be able to participate in the private beta program. It's my understanding that I would need to be in this program in order to run the latest build. I will have to work with AT&T Legal on the NDA so that may take a little while.
To help me refine my Flex/FB 4 issue investigation technique, I'm curious : Is there a trouble report that references this problem? The closest one I could find was this one which seemed to suggest that no parameters would work and was entered against Gumbo, Beta 1: http://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/FB-21146.

Configuring HTTP Service

When I configure an http service, I create an operation updateItem, assign it a method of POST, Content-Type application/xml, and then specify a URL: http://localhost:3000/sites/1/students/3. Now when I go to test the operation, this is what I get:
InvocationTargetException:There was an error while invoking the operation. Check your operation inputs and try invoking the operation again.

Yet, in my application there is no such error when doing an update. However, when I try to accomplish it using Flash Builder, I get the above error. Am I doing something wrong in the Configure HTTP Service window? Thanks for any suggestions.

I completely abandoned the CallResponder route. It just took too much time to figure out and there's practically no in-depth resources out there for setting it up with HTTP Service (although you will find resources for ColdFusion and PHP). So I tried HTTP Service rather than CallResponder in the code:

Configuring blazeds with websphere

Hello,
I need some help deploying blazeds on websphere. Can anyone please give me steps to do this. My blazeds application is not able to access web services configured in the proxy-setting.config and also not able to get to the configured java remote object.

Hi. The steps for deploying BlazeDS on WebSphere should be the same as deploying any war file/web application. You could try deploying the samples webapp on your WebSphere server and run some of the samples. If that works then you know there is a problem with how you have your application configured. I would also try turning on client side and server side debugging for BlazeDS and seeing if the debug output tells you anything useful.
Can you give me any more information on how you have deployed BlazeDS and how you are running/loading your application? Is your application/swf being loaded from your BlazeDS web application or do you have it deployed locally or on another server?
If the swf isn't deployed on the BlazeDS web application, it's possible you are running into security
restrictions imposed by the flash player and need to add a cross domain policy file to your web server but without more information about how you have things configured I can't tell if that's your problem.

J2ee agent 2.2 configuration problem with Websphere Portal 5.1

Hi,
I am trying to configure j2ee agent 2.2 with Websphere Portal server.
I have followed the document "Sun Java SystemAccess Manager
PolicyAgent 2.2 Guide for IBM WebSphere Portal Server 5.1.0.2"
Please see the thread "Problem with Sun's SSO system and Websphere Portal Server integration" for environment related information.
Also the security on app server has been enabled and is talking to LDAP.
My aim here is to enable application server (portal server) to autheticate requests.
I am getting following error when I log into the portal application.

From whatever analysis I have done so far, I believe this issue is related to the personal certificate for sun one webserver (on which access manager & LDAP are installed) not registered with the application server (portal server).
I am not sure about the way I go by solving the issue.
Please can anybody help me out.

I am getting error as follows in the webserver error log:-
Error receiving request from 172.23.213.75 (SSL_ERROR_CERTIFICATE_UNKNOWN_ALERT: SSL peer had some unspecified issue with the certificate it received)
Although I can get into am console but with https://apollo.maxnewyorklife.com/amconsole
Tried the same thing, but couldnt resolve it. I will give it another go.
Generally I am getting same error again and again.
In my amWebsphere log file of j2ee agent (under root\am_wps_agent\agent_001\logs\debug) error I get.....

How to configure HTTP receiver comm channel with dynamic URL parameters?

I need to perform HTTP Post using PI. URL contains some parameters. I need to set these parameters with different values in run time.
Please help to do this.

Check the section Adapter Specific Message Attributes from this help section:

The parameters can be set in the Message Mappinga nd then using the appropriate options in communication they can be included in the message header....for more info search with keywords "Dynamic Configuration" and you will get to know how the procedure works.

GRMG RFC Configuration "HTTP method GET is not supported by this URL"

Hi All,
when i create the RFC Destinaton for SLD with regards to GRMG Configuration and test the rfc i get the Reason code 400 with error "HTTP method GET is not supported by this URL".
Even if i call http://hostname:port/sld/rtc in the browser i get the same error.
RFC Details:
Target machine:Host
Service No: port no
path prefix: /sld/rtc
My other RFC destinations for rwb,IR,ID,Adapter Engine works well.
I would appreciate your suggestions on this

Hi David,
I feel sorry to wake this thread up after long time.
It's the same situation, connection testing for SLD returns 400 "HTTP method GET is not supported by this URL".
However, CCMS hearbeat seems to work fine with SLD. It returns green.
I have a question here. Is it OK if we leave it that way without changing GRMG?
Is there any potential problem, or side effect when the RFC destination returns 400?
