Configuring IAD2431 to talk SIP with Asterisk PBX

Hello,
I am trying to use an IAD2431 as an ATA to connect 8 POTS phones to Asterisk PBX. (Through a NAT)
I am at IOS 12.4 and I am trying to use the SIP protocol.
Can anyone show me config files for the IAD and for Asterisk that would make this work?
I tried using sip-ua to register to Asterisk as username "iad2431b".
It appears all 8 of my POTs peers are trying and failing to register to Asterisk.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

After adding credentials to the pots dial peer my pots phones can now register to SIP servers and make and receive calls to SIPendpoints but audio is only one way. I removed the NAT so NAT is not an issue now. (There is no longer a NAT in between)
I think it might be a codec issue.
Codecs cannot be added to a pots dial peer so how does a pots dial peer negotiate a codec when calling a sip endpoint? Can codec be specified globally someplace?
The reason I suspect the codec is because when I look at the sip debug output I see
no rtp port number in the m= line and there are no a= lines after the m= lines.

we have TrixBox , asterisk PBX, and we need the application to interact with it, to initiate a call, to be able to receive a call, and to register a user, in other word to function similar to a soft phone ,
I have read about the asterisk -java and the manager API, but not sure that the mentioned functionality all could be implemented with it,
other solution is to program everything with SIP, and to implement the functionality myself,
I need a help to know where to start correctly with the application,
please let me know if you need any more explanation

Cisco SPA525g2 Date and time Not Synced with the PBX server

Hello,
We have a couple of SPA525g2 phone connected and registered to our PBX server. We were able to configure 3 extensions on different lines of the phone. However, at times we were encountering issues with the other lines configured on the phone. There are times wherein 1 extension configured on the phone is having one way audio issue, but the other extensions configured on the same phone is working fine. and we have to reboot/reset the phone several times for all the extesions configured on the phone to work.
Also, whenever we reset the phone, the date and time will be way way behind the current date and time, eventhough we have already set the correct date and time before we reset the phone.
How can we resolve the one way audio issue on 1 or 2 extensions of the phone, while the other extensions configured to it is working fine?
How can we make the phone sync the date and time with the PBx server?
Any input and help regarding this issue is greatly appreciated...
Btw, date and time issue not sync with the PBX server is just happening on SPA525g2, we have other phones like SPA303, SPA504, and SPA232D/SPA302D. All other phones' date and time is in sync with the server even though we reset them except SPA525g2.

Recommended configuration for load balanced Portal with load balancer, multiple gateways and multiple servers.

Does anyone have a recommended network, hardware and software configuration guide for a Portal installation running with multiple gateways load balanced (ie one URL) that talk to multiple servers?

We've used Resonate (software) to load balance the gateways. It allows
you to group all the gateways under 1 virtual URL and load balance the
incoming connections over each gateway depending on the rules that you
define in Resonate. Look in the SUN portal whitepapers there is one that
talks about it specifically.
As far as load balancing the calls to the portals, the gateways will
automatically load balance across all the portals that they know about
using a simple round-robin rotation. You may be able to use Resonate in
front of the portals but you may need to activate persistance within
Resonate to ensure that the user always ends up on the portal that he
established his initial connection on (if you want that), check with Sun
on this one.

SPA 8000 Connection with IP PBX

I have SPA 8000 8 Port Analog Telephone Adapter , i want connect this with IP PBX and use Analog telephone in my home (Assign extension number for each room)
Can you please explain to me how to configure and get extension number from IP PBX to ATA adaptor

Hello,
as far as I know, FAX and VoIP aren't the best friends - those technologies are not designed to work together smoothly ...
You may try following tuning :
Set your fax machine to 9600 (not 14400),
Make sure you only use G711a (Europe) or G711u (US) codec (fax will not work with others).
Activate T38 FAX support if your device FW offers such possibility.

Asterisk pbx problems

Asterisk pbx sends me emails with attached voicemails. When I try to play the message from my iPhone 4s a prohibited symbol appears over the play button and I can't play the message. Everyone is my office uses Asterisk on their iPhone with no problems. Can anyone help? Thank you!

Well, I don't use asterisk so I can't really test it, but if you're planning to submit it don't forget to strip the comment tags... why is the cd command 'commented', and what do you mean 'fix up'?

Hi! I'm trying to configure my portal to work with oracle8i using thin driver.I've set classes12.zip in the classpath.But if I set the DATABASE=ORACLE_OCI value inthe set-environment.sh file the server does not start.Pls help.

I created a wsdl based on a dbadapter in jdeveloper, imported into eclipse and created the biz and the proxy and uploaded to oracle service bus, it works fine,
but happens now that i need to have a xsd and wsdl with business names and not table names, invented to create a xsd and wsdl file in jdeveloper
and then went to eclipse and tried t xquery tranformation, but when i add the replace in the message flow in the filed in Variable : body and Expression i look for the xquery and in the binding trying to put
$body/input parameter, get the following error [RouteNode1, Replace action] XQuery expression validation failed: The current configuration is out of sync with the XQuery resource in the repository.

ok have created a table with only in column varchar2(1)
then the type object and the procedure to insert it works the proxy in the osb if i test it inserts
now in jdeveloper i created an xml file with

in eclipse created a xquery transformation and selected source as the xsd created in adf and target the xsd input parameter, dont know why in the purple ball of the input parameter it puts a ?, an a f.
then in the proxy xpath not writing anything in variable body and in the expression select the xquery and in binding select the parameter
