Configuring Inbound Profile in BW system for putting IDOCs?

Hello,
we send IDOCs to BW system form XI for POS analitics.
But we confused how to configure Inbound Partner Profile in BW system (t-code WE20).
The main question is :
What must be as Inbound Partner in WE20 ? The name of DataSource(InfoSource) or something else? And what the type of Partner should it be?

In BW, check in tx SXMB_ADM, option Integration Engine configuration, if you have in category RUNTIME, parameter IS_URL something like that "dest://<NameOfYourRfcDestination>".
and in SM59 (of BW), check that you have the same RFC destination (type H).
or maybe you use a Java proxy, instead of an abap proxy.

I ran in to one wearied issue in IDOC creation in Receiver system. I am running PFAL in sender system for only Person but 10 IDOC are getting created in receiver system. I don't know why is this happening.
This issue started popping up after we ran RBDAPP01-Inbound Processing of IDocs Ready for Transfer. We ran this to change IDOC to 53 status. Now I don't know what went wrong but Perner distribution is behaving

Yes, employee is getting created after adding 0003 into the filter, but can u please answer my another question, i.e. PERNR in sender and receiver system should be same.

the necessary steps are described in Solution Manager IMG documentation.
Also you can find that information in the web blogs in this forum.
In a nutshell:
- activate Service Desk in Solution Manager (incl. BC-Sets)
- maintain System Landscape, RFCs and iBase
- create key users (business partners)
- maintain number ranges
- assign roles
- maintain table BCOS_CUST in satellite system
You should just follow the corresponding customizing steps in tx: SPRO.

A Summary of the Steps to be carried out to enable a SAP R/3 System send Idocs to SAP Exchange Infrastructure.
First - Maintain the Sender R/3 System:
SM59 : Create a RFC destination to XI
WE21 : Create a TRFC Port ->Specify the RFC Destination Created
BD54 : Create a Logical System for the Idoc Receiver
WE20 : Create Partner Profile ->Maintain Outbound and the Inbound Parameters
Second - Log on to XI System:
SM59 : RFC Destination for Sender System
IDX1 : Create the port to get Idoc Metadata from Sender System ( The Port Name must match the port name in the idoc header - Usually in format SAP<System ID>. eg. SAPID1 [Optional Step. Not mandatory]
IDX2 : Maintain the Idoc Metadata. This is needed only by XI, and not by other SAP systems. IDX2 is needed because XI needs to construct IDoc-XML from the IDoc. No other SAP system needs to do that.
To Enable Acknowledgement:
SXMB_ADM ->Integration Engine Configuration ->Specific Configuration ->Add New entry -> Select parameters as:
Category: RUNTIME
Parameters: ACK_SYSTEM_FAILURE
Current Value: 1
GO TO SLD:
Create Technical System: Choose WEB AS ABAP if the system is R/3 -> Define SAP SID, Installation Number and Database Host Name a Maintain message Server Details according to Sender System -> Maintain Client Details of Sender System ->Select a Installed Product for Sender System
Create Business System: Choose WEB AS ABAP if the system is R/3 -> Choose the Technical System and the client Created Before -> Choose the Installed Product -> Set:

Technical system for idoc

i am doing a file2idoc scenario.i want to crete a technical system as web-as-abap.but we are having ecc6.0.here we are having both abap & xi .here those are having different host name.here in this scenario i am using idoc as receiver system.so will i use hostnbame of abap or xi in technical system(web-as-abap)??

2.Web AS ABAP Name (SID): FIC ( i don't know where to find SID , somebody asked me to give my R/3 System name.
Note:Other guy told me like this to find SID, T-Code:SM51
There will be name Seperated by 2 Underscores, the part next to 2nd underscore is SID. So, in my R/3 System, its like FIC_FIC_00, but when i tried to give 00 as SID, its not accepting, so i gave FIC)

ABAP systems for CE

Hi,
To configure access to a backend system for use in VC, Web dynpro etc in CE 7.1, is it right to go to Configuration Management -> Security -> Destinations?
And then create an HTTP destination followed by an RFC destination pointing to the ABAP system?
Or do we have to configure the SLD for the ABAP system in question.
Which one is right and more suitable.
Also, In future will SAP continue to release EE only version or will future releases always have the composition tools as well. e.g I need the full version for GP, VC etc.

The destination service can be used to connect to any http/rfc systems.
Even the SLD system itself is to be registered through destination service as an http destination.

And according to the documentation from Destination service, not all applications use the Destination service.
Some applications have their own connection maintenance tools.

So it is upto your application to decide where to maintain the connection.
For example: While creating JCO Connections you need to have your system registered in SLD.

What can I do?
If the termination type was RABAX_STATE, then you can find more information on the cause of the termination in the system TRG in transaction ST22.
If the termination type was ABORT_MESSAGE_STATE, then you can find more information on the cause of the termination on the application server PPLKHIDR05_TRG_00 in transaction SM21.
If the termination type was ERROR_MESSAGE_STATE, then you can search for more information in the trace file for the work process 0 in transaction ST11 on the application server PPLKHIDR05_TRG_00 . In some situations, you may also need to analyze the trace files of other work processes.
If you do not yet have a user ID, contact your system administrator.
Any suggestions on how to resolve the error?

Unable to find SWCV in BW system for inbound proxy

Hello Friends,
There is one interface running in our system. It is FILE to PROXY. Every day MDM sends some vendor details in files form. PI polls the file and map to structure for BW. (BW is SAP System).
In Operation Mapping, Sender Side : Our own interface and structure is used. On the Receiver side, 'GenericVendorIN' interface from SAP SWCV 'BI CONT' is used.
Messages are processed successfully for this interface in PI (PI 7.1) and failed in BW side due to application error. Not all messages, few messages.
When we try to troubleshoot the business logic (ABAP) written for this inbound interface in BW system, this SWCV BI CONT is not displayed in SPROXY transaction. But, we see successful messages and failure messages in BW system. (Txn: SXMB_MONI). ESR is connecting fine. Our SWCV is adisplayed correctly.
Friends, could you please clarify why SAP Standard SWCV BI CONT is not displayed in SPROXY transaction? For any errors, how do we troubleshoot then on the inbound side i.e in BW system.

LS System for Inbound delivery idoc

Hi,
I am able to define transfer the master data between ECC and EWM system, however i have an issue for transactional data e.g. inbound delivery.
When I create inbound delivery then system generates an IDOC but it picks up a different logical system as against the one defined for my system. When I generated my distribution model, i got a message that it is successfully created and I can see my message type and filter details(my warehouse etc) on the message type.
Can someone kindly suggest how EWM picks up LOgical system, my understanding is that it is based ont he configurtion(WM to EWM location definition and distribution model). But I am confused now and trying to understand why system is not finding my LS system?
Any link to supporting documentation would really help.

I found the root cause, there was another LS system model was there in my system, I regenerated partner profiles and that resolved the issue.

We need to created two (2) Business Systems for our File to File Configuration.
Configuration Details:
SWCV must be attached to a Product.
Technical Systems must be Third Party.
Business Systems must be identified as an Application System.

In SLD
1. Create the Product & Software Component for File Systems.
2. Create the Technical systems as Third Party & select the Installed Products for File systems accordingly.
3. Create the Business Systems & select the corresponding technical system.
In IR
1. Import the SWCV from SLD using Tools --> Transfer from SLD option
2. Create the Data Type & Message Type for source & destination .
3. Create the Inbound & Outbound message interfaces
4. Create the Message Mapping & interface Mapping.
In ID
1. Create the scenario
2. Using context menu of Business System. Assign Business system for Source & target systems
3. Create the Sender & receiver file adapter.
4. Create the receiever determination, interface determination
5. Create the Sender & receiver agreement.

Wrong logical system for partner profile

Dear gurus,
we have been sending ORDERS Idocs for some time now, using to a logical system called MSC_MM_PRD, a RFC connection called MSC_MM_PRD and a port for Idoc processing called A000000003.
Now, we would like to send ORDERS Idocs to another logical system. We created that new logical system called MES001, a RFC connection (MES) and a Port for IDoc processing using that RFC destination (A00000004).
After that we maintained a partner profile for the new logical system MES001 with outbound parameters for ORDERS Idocs. So far, so good.
But then, I had to create a new message type for purchase orders to use that new connection (called ZEDI) and I guess that is where I made a mistake: I copied the existing message type for the old ALE connection and changed some parameters (like name etc.).
Now, when I create a new purchase order and add a message of the new type and save the order, I get an error message:
EDI: Partner profile outbound process code not available
Message no. E0335
Diagnosis
An outbound partner profile could not be found with the following key:
/MSC_MM_PRD/LS//EF/ZEDI//
[u2026]
Procedure
Please check the outbound partner profiles for the assignment of the process code:
As you can see, SAP tries to find an outbound partner profile using the old logical system (MSC_MM_PRD) and the new message type (ZEDI) as a key and obviously fails.
Can anyone please tell me why SAP uses the old logical system and how I can change that?

My client using SAP B1 2007B PL13.
I am configuring the Accounts part. here My client is involved in manufacturing business. so there are 3 locations like
Location 1: Head Office
Location 2: Factory1 and Warehouse1.
Location 3: Factory2 and Warehouse2.
they are asking the financial report for all three locations to find the expenditure and returns. Under this scenario i am confused to configure the accounts system for them, whether, i have to create a 1) segmentation accounts 2) Profit center and 3)cost center.

Configure BI JDBC system for VC

I am new at VC and try to configure a BI JDBC system (BW 3.5) for VC. I have downloaded

In my Visual Admin --> Cluster tab --> Services --> Connector Container --> Runtime tab --> under sap.com/com/sap.ip.bi.sdk.dac.connector.jdbc node SDK_JDBC must be selected. However, such node does not exist, how can I install it? Please help!

I highlighted in bold where the issue is, you went ahead and loaded the JDBC driver for Microsoft's SQL Server on the JAVA WebAS and not the JDBC driver for Oracle 9i, which is the RDBMS you are using. You can download the appropriate JDBC driver from the site below.

Once you have done this install the Oracle JDBC Driver and you should be fine.

Configuring optimizeit profiler for multiple kjs

I am facing problems in configuring optimizeit profiler for multiple kjs. It
works fine if i have a single kjs in my app server and i am able to read the
profiler output. I am using iAS6.0sp2.
When i try to change the script that attaches the profiler with kjs for
multiple kjs all the kjs start on the same port i.e 10819. I want all the
kjs to start on different ports so that i can read the profiler output for
all of then at one go.
If any body has done this before with success then please help me at an
earlier date.
This is very very urgent for me.

There is three things important While you working with custom member ship and FBA to work.
1. If you have developed Custom membership extending SQLServerMembership provider then make sure to check for Machine Key. as internally if usese combincation of this to encrypt password, so if you used first userid using some other method of creating user
then probably it does not use machine key in that configuration file.
2. if you doing brand new implementation from base classes you probably want to check your query & stored Procedure. make sure to run sql profiler to see what query is getting fired.
3. this one is most least and mostly not will be problem but do check Application Name,
Note: Key to get this working is Machine key, Application Name, your custom code revisit, sql profiler and you should be good,
Also do review FBA Code from CodePlex you can save significant time in developing from scratch.
