Hi Everybody,
This is urgent!!!!!!!!

Do we have to configure Internet Transaction Server for EP 7.0 to create Transactional Iviews?

What is your backend version. If it is ECC 5.0 or ECC 6.0 you need to configure integrated ITS. There are some differences interms of features offered by standalone Vs integrated ITS. Service marketplace will list them very well. (http://service.sap.com/sap-its)

How to Configure ITS for 4.7 R/3 Enterprise

How can i configure ITS for 4.7 Enterprise version.....I checked ITS services in 4.7 with tcode SICF but ITS is not there. ..Is ITS is separate component for 4.7 which need to be downloaded..How to go about it. any help would be appreciated

Problem creating transactional iview for BW system

Hi gurus
We are facing one problem creating a transactional iview for a BW 3.5 system . We wanto to call transaction SU01 in our BW system using an iview. When we use SAP for html, we have all the menu on the iview , I mean the same result as if we use smen, not SU01.
And if we use SAP GUI , we are always having the same GUI Error

Thanks Bala for your quick reply. I´ve tried with function module RSBB_URL_PREFIX_GET and all the settings were OK. Still the same result.
Adding more information. We have another WAS 6.40 server with different Module(we have RM and XRPM , not BW) and we are having the same problems. I am wondering if its related with some special config or activation
Maybe I´ve forgot some service activation in SICF? I´m able to reach the SMEN, but not the SU01
or I´m missing some config elsewhere?

Cannot create transaction IView

Hi,
We are trying to create a transaction iView however the preview process consistently fails with the same error. It does not matter which transaction we use the error is the same. The user on both ABAP and Portal has full authorizations. When previewed the iView fails with the error:
An error occured in iView: N/A in component: N/A
In the logs this error is followed by the exception:
com.sapportals.portal.prt.runtime.PortalRuntimeException: iView not found::.default
This is a newly installed 7.0 portal on stack 15.

1) The connections seem to be fine. The connection tests work and other Portal components can read/write data to the ABAP corectly.
What exactly do you mean by the connections being fine? Does it mean that you have tested the system that you have created.
Go to System Admin->System Config->PCD-> Systems folder-> Open the system that you have created for the backend system.
Right click on the system and choose connection test.
Select SAP WEB AS connection , ITS connection , Connection test for connectors and click TEST.
Observe the results, if the connection test passes or not.

I am trying to create two transaction iViews, that connect to R/3 and CRM, but I keep on getting the following error messags:

Basket icon is not displaying for purchase order creation transaction iview

Hi SDNs,
I have created a set of purchase related transaction iviews like for example purchase order display.
there i couldn't find the basket icon to drop the other purchase order number, which we generally choose by using docuement overview on to change the number.
in WebGUI how do we drop the exisiting documnet into the screen.
I have activated all icon services in sicf, is there any specific services to be activated to have such kind of icons in webgui.
Please suggest me to resolve this.

In order to call an transaction from ECC, you should choose the logical system of the ECC System itself. You will get the information regarding the logical name assigned to your ECC System using the tcode SM59. The logical system must have been defined for the ECC System before you integrated CRM to backend ECC.
Check the tcode SM59 and you will find logical name of your ECC System there.
And yes, you are suppose to use the existing ECC logical system, which is mapped with SAP CRM system.

Configuration settings for Contract account create\change\display transacti

Hello all,
Does any one know IMG path for settings for contract account related activities (Tcode - caa1\caa2\caa3). We have 2 systems of SAP ISU. One system shows various fields blocks under 'General data' tab like 'Account management data', 'contract account remarks', 'invoicing', 'associated work activity' while other system only shows 'Account management data' and 'associated work activity' that too with very less no of fields in there.
Is it because of any functional settings through IMG or is there any other reason?

In IMG there is a setting where in you can make settings for the fields of activities like contract account create , change , display .
Following is the navigation for the same .
SPRO - Financial accounting ( new ) - Contract accounts receivable and payable - basic functions - contract accounts - field modifications - configure field attributes per activity .
Here you can make the necessay settings for your activities as to you want to make the field as hide , display , mandatory etc.
Secondly , in case of authorizations - System checks for following Auhtorization objects ;
F_KKVK_BUK - For co code .
F_KKVK_VKT - Contract account type .
F_KKVK_BEG - Aurhoization group in contract account .
E_REGIOGRP - Regional structure group .
do revert back in case of anyother issues .

once the billing doucment is generated in sd. Then automatcally accounting doucment will be gnerated if you would have done revenue account determinationt and release to accountg. Coming to your point once the billing doucment cancelled in sd the following accounting document you have to reverse there is no cancellation of accounting document. in fb08 you can do this things related to the following invoice. and you will get what ever the result you want. Once you reverse it there is no open item for that billing doucment. I hope u will understood the concept

Need help for creating a Transaction iView

Hi all,
I wish to make a Transaction iView using a transaction from the SAP BW system. Our SSO is working fine (since we are able to run the BI Reports in Portal).
When I use SAP GUI for Windows in my Transaction iView, then the transaction is shown alongwith the header including the transaction input field. I basically want the transaction without this header.
When I use SAP GUI for HTML in my Transaction iView, then everytime I run this iView, I am being asked for the R/3 user id and password. (See this [screenshot|http://img171.imageshack.us/my.php?image=transactioniviewzw8.jpg]). Once I give the user id and password, the transaction runs without the header. But in this case, I want to open the transaction directly without the need to give the user id and password.
Can you please help me as to what can be done?

For creating Transaction iview you have to create a system first
goto system administration-System configuration-System Landscape-Portal content. right click and create new system. create dedicated r3 system.
Following are the system properties.
Application host-sap r/3 system
Login method-UIDPW
System id-R/3 system id
System number-R/3 system number
Port- 32+R/3 system number
System type-SAP_R#
User mapping type -admin,user
Then create a system alias
DO user mapping by going to User administration-User Mapping
Type Administrator and user.then click "edit"
DO the user mapping by selecting your system alias from the drop down
Then create an iview by going to content administration-portal content. right click new iview-Select SAP transaction iview. and give the necessary parameters(i.e:SE38).

Transactional iview for "session_manager" not working

Dear All,
we are creating transactional iview for t code "session_manager", the problem we are facing is that it is not going to session_manager screen, instead of that it is going to S000 Transaction.
I tried using webgui also, but here I m facing some strange problem, it is using webgui for one user and for rest it is using wingui for others and again going to S000 t code.
Can you please give me some recommendations?

EP6 Transaction iView Shortcut... need a little help from my friends

Hi All,
I've noticed an issue regarding Workplace compatibility mode when launching SAPGUI for Windows from a Transaction iView. By default Workplace compatibility is set to "true", however, we need this to be "false".
If I save the shortcut file generated by the portal and open in a text editor I can see this:

If I change this on my desktop to "false" and start SAPGUI it works as expected.
Anyone have any ideas how to set this property from the portal?
A fix is described for EP5 in SAP Note # 631555 but I'm finding nothing on EP6.

There is a portal iview having link to connect R/3 system (EP 6 to R/3 4.6C). When the user clicks the link in the iview, before the R/3 system opens, it gives a error saying
"Not all data for SAP GUI shortcut is available. System ID is unknown, Client is unknown, Enter the missing data"If I click OK, a new window opens saying "New SAPGUI shortcut"
In that window it is asking for descrption, SID, SAPGUI parameter, etc...
I checked the SAP system created in the portal and all the parameters including the Application host, port, system aliases, etc are fine and I can open the SAP window from the support desk.
In the iview also I checked all the settings are absolutely fine.
The GUI type is WINGUI and the How to Start SAPGUI for windows I have given SSF only.
Still I am not sure what is missing. If I change the SSF to auto the transaction opens in a new browser.
The issue is this..... EP 6.0, created a System for Dev R/3 (4.6C) and given all the required information for all possible property category like SAP client, SID, system #, port, etc, etc. system type is SAP_R3. User management, Logon method is SAPLOGONTICKETS and user mapping type is "admin, user".
No ITS information is given since we only open the session_manager of R/3 thru the iView.
This opens the R/3 most of the times. But sometimes the user gets the error.
If I use auto instead of SSF the SAP transaction is opening within the iview portal window itself. But earlier it used to open as a typical separate SAP R/3 window.
So I also changed the Drag&relate option to open in a new portal window. Now it is opening in a new window, but unlike the earlier one, the SAP windows is inside a browser window. So the create new session button and all are not active. Moreover the client is cruel enough and very particular to say they want it to open as an individual SAP R/3 window and not inside a browser.
I tried to follow note 631555, but as per that I am not able to find the SAPApplication.Transaction iveiw.
The error does not occur always and in all the systems. Thanks in advance for any help.
