If your SAP system's Output is configured with the proper output type and SMTP or IMAP mail sending servers then its possible to send mail directly by clicking the send email tab.
I have a little knowledge about this technical congiguration. But we have solution manager from where we send mail directly to the user's Email.
And also yu have to configure Workflow setting.
Please take help of Workflow ABAP consultant.

How to configure Mail to use different ports for POP and SMTP?

I am trying to configure Mail for my AT&T account. It requires me to configure POP (incoming) mail for port 995, and SMTP (outgoing) mail for port 465. However there doesn't seem to be an option to configure different ports for these. Is that correct, or am I missing something?
Alternatively can I configure two accounts, one for POP incoming and one for SMTP outgoing? My incoming POP account does work, but in configuring an outgoing account I still have to configure a POP server name and that will not work for the outgoing port.
Any advice on how to solve this would be appreciated.

Understand. It is really quite easy to do in Mail, too. Kappy told you how to set up the smtp piece. I gave you pop info. These two things are on different panels within Account Preferences.

SMTP:
In Mail Prefs, click on the accounts icon. Click on your att yahoo account on the list. On the right of the window, in the lower portion, you see an smtp server menu. Open it and select edit. Select Edit Server, then click on its Advanced tab. Set up port 465 with SSL.
POP:
This is on a different panel in Mail PRefs Accounts. Now in Mail Prefs, click on the accounts icon. Click on your att yahoo account on the list. On the right of the window, you see three tabs, acc't info, mbox behaviors, and Advanced. This is where things are different than for smtp. You are going to configure stuff on a different "advanced" panel than where you were for the smtp stuff. Click on the advanced tab. There is a field for port with a SSL checkbox next to it and an authentication drop down menu. Check the box and it should quickfill change from 110 to 995. Autentication drop down is probably already default to password.
Did you visit the URL I gave you previously? It even gives you screen shots.

Configured Mail in 10.4.11 to iCloud specifications and get error messages

Configured Mail in 10.4.11 to iCloud specifications and get error messages and still cannot send and receive. Get error messages, "does not recognize password" etc. Have working on Snow Leopard, iPhone iPad but not 10.4.11 PPC Mail. Any help? I used Apple support set up. I originally had a .mac account and have tried both [email protected] and xxx.me.com as username. I Upgraded my password to stronger suggested strength. (one cap and one letter minimum 8) I verified Keychain. I have even deleted everything including Keychain and account and started over numerous times, still no joy. Ports are incoming 993 and outgoing 587. Will not be upgrading this machine due to production software issues but was told I could stll use the .mac email

Give the date there is another probable solution. Were you originally a MobileMe subscriber? If you weren't, then please ignore the rest of this post.
MobileMe subscribers who migrated to iCloud received complimentary extra storage up until September 30 2013. This has now expired. If you have less than 5GB data in iCloud then your storage simply reverts to 5GB.
However if you have more than 5GB data, Backup, Documents and Mail will stop working until you either delete sufficient data to bring you within 5GB or purchase additional storage. Possibly this is what has happened to your - you should have been sent an email about this.

Your problem is that you cannot access iCloud to do this because you have no iCloud preference pane. Your only options are to use a compliant Mac (Lion or Mountain Lion) or an iOS5/6 device to purchase extra storage; or to go to http://icloud.com and delete as much as you can there (you may not be able to access this page on Tiger, but you would be able to do so from any more recent computer).

C3 Mail Option

Hi,
I have just purchased Nokia C3 (Chennai,India). I had enabled Airtel GPRS , Mobile Office and WLAN. Also ablt to browse and access internet site.
When I try to avail the MAIL option and try to connect to gmail, the below error is observed
"Service Temporarily Unavailable. Try Later".
This is observed when I connect either through WLAN or GPRS.

I assume you have google IMAP enabled now.
If an E or G icon is displayed during the update attempt, it means your phone tries to connect using EDGE or GPRS, not WLAN. It will not be able to do so unless you have a data plan.

CAD E-mail option(s)

Just started to look into and configure the CAD Agent E-mail option. The 8.5.11002-22 release now works ok with non-us characters (important, as we're in Norway)
Today we've been using a similar mailbox configuraton like the e-mail agent "mailbox master" is organizing it in UCCX, ok so far
The emails is being distriubuted as per CSQ and skillslevel ok
When a new agent becomes availailable, the first available unhandled e-mail is presented. This is where my question or maybe feature to be added comes in:
The Agent only sees message being presented. It would be nice to be able to see all unhandled mails in a list, thus make it possible for the Agent to chose and then handle. It would also be nice to see if any of the listed messages contained file attachments, as this for us (often) indicates priority messages
The second wish would be for the supervisor to be able to attach to the mailbox in order to have somewhat control over this. Ok, as it's in my case an exchange mailbox we can log into a separate citrix user and from there look and have a feeling
I know these request somewhat conflicts with the FIFO queue principles but we're allowing us the best from both parties (phone= always the first pri as its interactive) and email which is somewhat more flexible I think the this UCCX (email) option surely is great.
I also know that my developement dpt will be eager to "can we program against this", but this ought to be a discussion for later

Once the form design is completed with the content like Title, Abstract, image selection, main text. Upon saving the content (creation News..etc) it could be sent by mail to [email protected] (group mail-ID). OR the user can have an option to type the mail-ID in a text field (like abstract) and upon saving the content could be sent by mail to selected mail-ID
I would like to save these forms (created content) somewhere in the KM like other XML news creation forms.

Howto activate mail() option ? [SOLVED]

I just started to run an apache server, with php, and mysql (mariadb), it works great, however the script I used to install a preconfigured blog (SPIP) is warning me about two thing : First the the function date() is not safe and it should be use with a timezone. So I wonder howcan I make php interpret date() function in php code to another function that is safer.
Second thing, I cant use the option mail(), i tryed installing POSTFIX following the wiki but i get stuck. How can I activated the mail function ?

Thanks, it solved it.
Now I decided to install ssmtp to be use for mail() command from php.
I configured everything works properly besides the fact that after I ve used a small script to test the mail() option, it doesnt work.
I get this error in /var/log/httpd/error_log :
sendmail: Cannot open mail:25
I ve read in the wiki that it is due because i have to add the user to the mail group.
Infact I did add root to mail group, and the command :
#mail [email protected] < testmail.txt
works great(when it was showing the same error"sendmail: Cannot open mail:25" when user root wasnt in mail group.
Now I added http, mysql, php to mail group using the command :
#gpasswd -a username mail
but i still get the error in /var/log/httpd/error_log.
Any suggestions ?
Fixed : I dont how but I was abble abble to send email in the console without the line :
mailhub=smtp.gmail.com:587
in my ssmtp config file and now i can send email with php, I had to add this in php.ini
sendmail_path = /usr/sbin/ssmtp -t

Thunderbird fails to send email when "Scan email for junk mail" option is checked in Server Admin

I have 2 clients that need to send mail through my server, one Mac and one Windows. The Mac uses apple mail and the Windows machine uses Thunderbird.
Apple Mail will send fine, it is set up for "Use Default ports 25, 465, 587" and "Use SSL" and "Authentication: MD5 Challenge-response".
Thunderbird refuses to send and I don't even see any errors showing up in the Console on the OS X server under smtpd entries.
If I uncheck the "Scan email for junk mail" option on the server, then Thunderbird will send fine.
Thunderbird is set up as: "smtp port 587 (default)" "connection security: STARTTLS" "Authentication method: Encrypted Password"
May or may not be relevant: I use virtual domains as well as aliases.
Server: Mac OS X Server version 10.5.8

Solved it, looks like maybe the smtpd settings for sasl authentication may not have been correct. I followed everything in http://osx.topicdesk.com/content/view/38/41/ the "Frontline Spam Defense for OS X server" guide and now can send mail just fine from Thunderbird Winodws and from Apple Mail.

Mail options & disposable addresses moved!

Did anyone else lose access to their disposable addresses? They're under 'Mail options', which used to be a very clear text button at the top left of the mail screen. I've finally found that it's moved to the 'Gear cog' tools icon, at the top right, which is probably more logical.
Just in case anyone else spends 20 minutes trying to find it, like I did

Tried Live Help, but they were out to lunch or asleep, so that was 10 minutes wasted waiting for someone to respond. So with heavy heart used the phone, went throught the usual rigmarole and "did you know you can fix problems by looking online...." (yawn) and eventually insisted on being put throught to Yahoo, a patient and very polite guy near Delhi, who persuaded me to share control, got into the problem secondary account and just clicked around a bit, merely looking at settings, didn't change a thing, asked me to send another test email to one of the problem disposable addresses. Lo and behold it worked.
The equivalent of kicking a car to make it start Isn't science marvellous?

After 1st Gen iPod touch reset, cannot configure mail for Mobile Me or iCloud account

I recently reset my iPod touch 1st Gen, v. 3.1.3 (7E18) and have not been able to configure Mail to check the Mobile Me or iCloud mail server. I get an error msg that the user name or password must be incorrect, but they're not. I assume this is due to the old IOS not being up to date with iCloud technologies, but I was able to get mail on this device before resetting. I don't use it much for email, but do carry it on trips as a backup access device to get to mail and calendars. I dont really want to use Safari to check mail when there is a mail app for doing so.
Any suggestions?

Firefox doesn't show headers on websites or mail options such as fonts, etc

Firefox is the only browser that I'm having these problems with. They are as follows:
In the compose e-mail block of my yahoo, it doesn't show the options for fonts, size of fonts, backgrounds, etc. It also won't let me change the color of the fonts. It just shows blank boxes. Not only can't I change things in individual e-mails that I compose, I can't change my e-mail options.
In the customize backgrounds and colors for my yahoo page, it doesn't let me change colors or themes.
In websites, it doesn't show the headers of the website, including name of website and selections. It's blank. The body of the website shows up. Just not the header.
Is there a way restore Firefox to it's original state? If so, how do I do this? Or do I need to uninstall it and reinstall it? I didn't do this when I first started using Firefox.

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Windows Accessibility settings.

I have some bad news for you I'm afraid. Discoverer workbooks are not stored as SQL definitions, they are stored as BLOBs within the database. It is therefore not possibly to write any sort of query to interrogate the inner workings of a workbook. The only way to do this is to open each workbook in turn and analyze it.
