Configuring SPAN and using wireshark HELP!!??

I am puzzled. I have followed all of the documentation for setting up a port on our 3750 with span but when I plug the PC with wireshark nothing happens.
So far this has been my configuratuion:
monitor session 1 source interface Gi1/0/1 - 22 rx
monitor session 1 destination interface Gi1/0/23
and I also set up gig1/0/23 as an access port.
When I plug in the ethernet cable from the PC I still get a down/down on int gig 1/0/23.
Am I doing something wrong?

Hmm so you sure you have the port in no shut state? That is not on error-disabled state? that the cable is good?, etc.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities
Open a Finder window, select Applications in the sidebar and look for iMovie. Make sure there are no external disks connected, and if so, disconnect them, open the App Store and install iMovie.
You can also use Spotlight to look for iMovie, so press Command and Space keys and type iMovie

OK My mother at 92 has just mastered the iPad - I've set up an itunes account for her and want one simple thing explaining. She has a non iphone mobile and imessage on ipad so she can easily see it and use it HELP

With HTML Help all you need to ship are the CHM files. That

HHACTIVEX.DLL file installed on their PC. If they don't they won't
be able to see them. You cab get the install routine for your
application to install and register this file.
With regards to Webhelp, you'll need to publise all the files
generated by the compile. Part of the compile process is setting up
the location of the published files (e.g. Intranet, FTP). You don't
have to worry about what to publish. As long as you have your
location correctly defined all the files are copied there.

I need to take all the outputs generated from test configuration "A" due to execution
of several variants and fed to another test configuration "B" as input .
Queries:
1.Is it possible to get the output values from configuration "A" and fed as input to
configuration "B"without adding all the transactions available in test configuration "A"?
2.If yes,how we have to do that?
3.Is there any code available or settings that we need to do for getting values of
configuration "A" and using it in configuration "B"?
4.Please provide us some links to get more details?

check out the STORE and RETRIEVE commands in the <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/20/e81c3b84e65e7be10000000a11402f/frameset.htm">Help Portal</a>.
STORE allows you to write data to a special section of the log, which another script can collect using RETRIEVE and various selection criteria.
Hint: 2 configurations or 2 variants running under the same execution have the same log number, which you can use to retrieve data (special variable &LOGID).

I overcame the permissions by allowing both paths to have read and write access to anyone but that didnt solve it until I copied it into the DATA directory which I created on the Airport Time Capsule.
I had already discovered the TIME MACHINE How to transfer backups but I am struggling still with the item and cannot currently get it to work. My setup seems to have created a wireless link to my router which is what I wanted and in that set up there are three options. I have simply gone for the extension of my network. I ignored the other option there which I cannot remember something like DNS? That may be the problem becasuse when I remove the Ethernet connector it just doesnt go anywhere.
I have also found I cannot update my TIME MACHINE software (currently 1.3) as although Apple tell me I should be able to set backups hourly daily or weekly I have only ever been able to run it hourly when i would prefer longer intervals so thought an update might be necssary.
Also tried to get an update for my Airport Utility (Currently 6.3.2 but cannot find one even though I have read there might be one available and again this might be the problem.
Have reset the Time Capsule now about a dozen times.
Following the instructions and trying to copy my existing backup it suggests you need to copy it to the root directory but that is when I get some sort of security issue and I found I could only get it to accept if I dragged my .backupdb to the DATA directory on the Time Capsule. I dont even know if I do this it will work when I come to use it.
I therefore found your reply of no more help than i had discovered but I hope you return to read this note because I really do need some help.
I am intending starting again in the next couple of days and fully documenting what I do and what I see and then as I suspect it will be no different and I will then seek an appointment at the Apple Store in Trafford Centre and if that proves unsuccessful then I still have time to return and become a dissatisfied customer with Apple for the first time in a long experience with Apple. I have noticed frightening notes on the conversations which point to problems of Mavericks working with Airport Time Machine!! So in the end it might not be me doing anything wrong. Unfortunately you do feel left out in the dark sometimes that is why I hope you can respond with a solution?

If you mean you wish to plug a USB drive into the Airport Extreme router (or TC not express) that is easy..
The disk must be formatted FAT32.. as if.. stay away from FAT .. or HFS+ ie Mac OS extended Journaled.
Format the disk on a Mac is best.. and even use GUID partition scheme not MBR.
The PC has no issue writing and reading files because this is a network drive.. The PC does not write to the drive.. it writes files to the Airport OS which writes and reads the disk and passes the info using standard windows SMB.. To the windows computer it will be a Windows NT server.. FAT32 setup.
If your setup is different.. to my hugely guessed assumptions.. give details.. always helps to have.. make and model.
Make and model of disk.. make and model of router.. how the setup will be done.. what windows OS you run.. etc etc.
As it stands your question could have nothing to do with apple at all.. other than you posted in a forum so I guess there is something apple in there somewhere.

Install Grid Control and use repository within a DataGuard configuration

I need some information if anyone has experience in the following
We have severel database running in DataGuard standby configuration.
I want to install OMS 11.1 and use the repository in a primary and standby configuration.
My configuration will look like this:
host 1     Primary Repository database
     OMS service 1
host 2     Standby Repository database
     OMS service 2
During normal operation i want to have 2 OMS services running.
Whenever a failover is necessary, i want to active my standby database and run OMS service 2.
Can this be a working configuration?
Any help is appreciated.

As far as I know, the dbconsole installed with the Oracle database applies for only one database on one server. The information accessed by the dbconsole relies within the sysman schema inside the actual database. For a database environment with 10 databases, it is possible to install grid control and manage all these databases despite version and OS. And I think that grid is a good solution to such an environment.
The grid installation itself is a application server installation, and I suggest if possible that you separate the rdbms server and the server that contains the grid control.
The repository database the grid control uses can either be installed in the 10g environment or in the grid control environment (server). You can place the repository in a new database in a separate ORACLE_HOME from the actual grid control application server.

Configure PIX to use both TACACS and RADIUS for VPN

PIX 506E using ver 6.3: Whenever I add the command "crypto map mymap client authentication PARTNERAUTH" it removes the current TACACS+ client authentication. I need to have both until I've finished testing the radius server. Can I add an additional crypto map designation command to accomodate and use both the current TACACS+ (ACS) and RADIUS?

Unfortunately what you want to do cannot be done on the pix, let's say that you have
multiple vpn groups on your firewall, as soon as you apply the following command:
crypto map mymap client authentication partnerauth
where parnerauth can a radius, tacacs, tacacs+ or an ACS server:
aaa-server partnerauth protocol radius
aaa-server partnerauth (inside) host 172.18.124.196 cisco123
As soon as you use "crypto map mymap client authentication partnerauth" the authentication
is applied globally on the crytpmap, thus affecting all the vpn groups configured.
You can have multiple vpn groups running on your firewall (dynamic crypto maps) but you
need to associate them to a static crypto map ( crypto dynamic-map dynmap 10 set
transform-set myset).
You can only have 1 crypto map applied to one interface, when you apply this line:
"crypto map mymap client authentication partnerauth"
The authentication is applied to ALL the clients, we cannot separate the extended
authentication based on the vpn group or ip address.

Production Resource/Tool(PRT) is a moveable operating resource used in production
You can assign production resources and tools to the task lists and production orders for which they are required.
Production resources/tools that are used for testing during production can be assigned to the corresponding inspection characteristic in the inspection plan.
Purpose
Unlike machines and fixed assets, production resources and tools (PRTs) are movable (not stationary) operating resources that are required to perform an activity and can be used repeatedly. For example, PRTs include documents, engineering drawings, jigs and fixtures, and measurement instruments.
You can assign production resources/tools to internal and external activities. You use the assignment to determine:
The quantity
The operating time
The dates
of the PRTs required to carry out the activity.
There are several categories of production resources and tools in the R/3 System. The category determines the characteristics and business functions that a PRT can have.
You can create production resources/tools with the following categories:
A material PRT has its own material master record with the view "PRT". A material PRT can be procured, that is, it can either be purchased or produced. You can also keep it in stock and track both its value and quantity.
A miscellaneous PRT has its own PRT master record and can neither be procured nor kept in stock.
A document PRT has its own document info record, (for example engineering drawings or NC programs). You can manage these PRTs using the R/3 Document Management System.
In the Project System you can assign documents directly to activities. Consequently you will not use this type of PRT very often.
An equipment PRT has its own equipment master record and has the full equipment functionality. This category is particularly useful for those production resources or tools which you must maintain yourself or which must be serviced at regular intervals. With the equipment category, you can furnish proof of service or usage values for the production resource/tool.
