Configuring to receive a iDoc in R/3 sent by XI

XI send a idoc( inbound - ORDERS05 ) to R/3, but occurs an ALE error, what's the basic settings that must to be done in R/3 to send iDoc(inbound) from XI to R/3 ?
Is it necessary to configure a port to XI in IDX1 in R/3 ?

Hi Regis,
U have to configure Port using IDX1 in XI where an RFC destination is to be mentioned which holds the recevier logon details...
And in the receiver maintain the partner profile(Inbound parameters needed to be handled...(WE30))

  • PI 7.3 receiver AAE idoc scenario-No receiver comm channel found in ICO

    Hi,
I am working in PI 7.3 receiver AAE idoc scenario. When I try to configure Integrated Configuration(ICO),I am not able to see the receiver comm channel in receiver agreement.
What is the reason for this??I have configured the communication channel, but still its not shown in reciver agreement dropdown.
    Please help.
    Regards,
    Sriparna

    Hi Sriparna,
In PI 7.3 there is are two separate IDoc adapters: "standard" IDoc adapter and one that is dedicated for AAE (ICO). Make sure that you have used the right one - most probably not, which is why you cannot see the channel in the dropdown list.
    Hope this helps,
    Grzegorz

  • Receiving multiple IDocs

    hi all;
i have a scenario where i am receiving multiple IDocs and have to keep on receiving tthem till 15 mins.
i implemented the scenario based on

but my IDoc messages seems to keep on waiting and the deadline branch not getting executed.

    Hi Mudit,
"can anyone tell what does "missed out the workflow configuration during installation" means in the blog."
    From SAP Help:-
<i>Cross-component Business Process Management is integrated with the business workflow (WebFlow Engine). An integration process can send messages to a workflow and, conversely, messages from a workflow can be processed in an integration process.</i>

  • Integration Engine -- Configure Sender/Receiver ID

    All,
I'm trying to configure senders and receivers (using SAP PI 7.1) in order to prioritize messages afterwards...
My SAP ECC 6.0 system will send idocs (= business system) and my receiver is a business component.
Configuring my send is no problem. Idoc structure and namespace appear in the sender interface tab, bu when I want to configure my business component as a receiver, no interfaces appear in the list.
Only the following is appearing in the Receiver Interface list:
    NAME                   NAMESPACE
    InterfaceCollection  http://sap.com/xi/XI/System
When I check my business component in the IB Directory, sender and receiver interfaces are clearly mentioned.
Can business components be used to configure senders and receivers?
    Did I forget something?
    Please advise.
    Thanks a lot
    Dimitri

    Hi Udo,
I have a receiver agreement with the following information:
    Sender:
SEDCLNT312 (SAP ECC system SED client 312)
    Receiver:
       component: BC_EAI (business component)
       interface: SI_IN_DIMONAO_A
       namespace: http://www.securex.be/MF0401/DimonaOut
Then I go to Configure Sender/Receiver ID and choose BC_EAI as service.
I manually type in the namespace and the interface, but then I get an error saying
"SI_IN_DIMONAO_A is not an interface" (Exception of class CX_XMS_WRONG_INPUT)
ps: do you think the problem is solved when I use third-party business systems instead?
    Thanks
    Dimitri

I think I found the error: I manually added both interface and namespace and then the error is triggered.
But when I added the interface and then I put " * " for the interface, no error appears. Also the other way around, * for interface and namespace filled in.
I must test this in order to be sure this works.
Edited by: Dimitri Sannen on Jun 3, 2009 2:46 PM
When I test with a Business System as receiver, the same this happens.
I cannot indicate any receiver interface. So the same phenomenon with both a business component and business system.
Can it be this is a bug?

  • Receiver AAE IDoc adapter

    Hi All,
I have a doubt regarding receiver AAE Idoc adapter. There are three options available in java IDoc adapter namely Default, Manual and From NWA. In Default option, we just need to configure a RFC Destination in NWA but in From NWA option, we need to configure RFC Destination as well as Resource Adapter(JCA Connection Factory). So, I just want to know what is the benefits of using From NWA option over Deafult and what is purpose of configuring Resource Adapter in NWA?

    Hi,
    see the below link.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73/helpdata/en/bc/0341dd385945d49eb809c084cf3dea/content.htm
as per this link i should check the checkbox.
Configuring Acknowledgements for a Sender IDoc Adapter (AAE) Locate this document in the navigation structure
    Procedure
Choose the sender communication channel on which you want to enable acknowledgement settings.
Choose the Parameters tab and then, choose the Ack Settings tab.
On the Acknowledgement Parameters area, enter the following settings:
            System Ack Ok Requested
Choose this option to receive XI system acks.
            System Ack Error Requested
Choose this option to receive XI system error acks.
            Application Ack Ok Requested
Choose this option to receive XI application acks.
            Application Ack Error Requested
Choose this option to receive XI application error acks.
            ALEAUD Special Handling Needed
Choose this option to enable the sender Java IDoc adapter to apply special handling to the incoming ALEAUD message. The adapter replaces the IDoc number of the ALEAUD message with the original IDoc number.
Initially, the receiver Java IDoc adapter generates a unique IDoc number, which replaces the original IDoc number of the outbound message. This IDoc unique number is referred by the ALEAUD message. However, the ALEAUD message is not converted to an XI Ack message in this case.

  • In Multimapping how can we configure the Receiver , Interface Deter for BPM

    Hi Friends ,
I am trying the the BPM scenario using Integration Process
    BpmPatternCollectTime
from SAP BASIS ® SAP BASIS 7.00 in the namespace http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/Patterns
I have done the scenario like the above . I have followed all the Steps which are used in above scenario.
I am using a File Sender Adapter and Receiver Adapter .
It is Successfully picked up the File but nothing is happening after that .
I am using two receiver Determination one from Ob to IP and other from IP to FIleReceiver ( IB) .
But, I am Getting error as Block1 (No agent) Error in the PE graphical diagram
I have checked in SWWL my Integration Process Return code is "0"
The steps Which i have followed in BPM are
    1. Block with Deadlkine branch and Exception handler( as TimeOut Exception)
Block Start and Block End as New Transaction
    2. Inside Block infinite Loop which contains Receive step ( Actives the Correlation ) and Multiline Container element which appends the Messages with CollectMessage
    3. Transformation Step
It creates the New Transaction and Interface Maping from CollectMessage List to New Mesage
    4. Send Step
It sends the New Message . It creates the New Transaction .
Can you Please tell me how to configure the Receiver and Interface Determination for the above scenario ?

  • RPM_FIN02 - Receiver of IDoc is its own logical system

For one particular portfolio item, I run the RPM program RPM_FIN02.
This results in an IDoc creation.
Next, I checked the status of the IDoc (RPM > Base System Interfaces > SAP Financial and Controlling Integration > Data Distribution From SAP FI-CO to SAP xRPM > Check Inbound Processing).
This shows the status "29 - Receiver of IDoc is its own logical system".
As a result, the Internal Order costs (including the ones posted from cProjects) do not get pulled into RPM Financial Planning.
    Please advise.
I do not have the technical understanding of this issue, and would therefore need a little more than the mere technical jargons and terms to be able to resolve this.
    Thanks for understanding.

    Hi,
    Very briefly,
-Assuming your RPM system is independent of your ECC box. But RFC connected.
-RPM_FIN02 is for pulling in financial data onto RPM item from (object linked) Internal Order(IO)/PS Project(PSP).
-RPM_FIN02 do not recognize/goto cProjects for financials.
-cProjects can have its own account assigned IO/PSP
-cProjects Dashboard, (if all is well incl. evaluation) should display costs from assigned IO/PSP
-This cost does not reach RPM item
-Source of cProjects- if it is created within cProjects or from RPM Item, does not matter.
    thanks,Mathavan

  • Doubt om Dynamic Configuration of receiver file

    Hello ,
for Acheiving the Dynamic configuration of receiver file name ,adapter specific message attribute is used...But how to suppress the name of file in the content of the Received file...
Is my question correct..do we get the file name in content of the receiver file, while using the Adapter specifc message attribute.
And another question ,in the Variable substitution ...do we get the above problem, then how to tackle the situation to suprress the file name in the payload of receiver file.

    HI,
You can handle the dynamic file name via Dynamic configuration or with the help of Variable Substitution.
    Please refer

for this i have created a Zreport and passed the data from application server to segment and i called the

    my logic is as follows.
    MOVE 'LS' TO w_edidc-rcvprt.
    MOVE 'SBECLNT130' TO w_edidc-rcvprn.

  • Configuring the Receiver File/FTP Adapter !!

    Hi
I am trying to configure the Receiver file adapter using the J2SE adapter engine(Please note , NOT the J2EE adapter engine).I see a prerequisite for configuring as below
"The address (HTTP port and URL) where the adapter can be contacted from the Integration Engine".
What values are to be specified and how can they be validated ?
I could see an example given in the Docs saying below,
If i specify , say for example,
    "XI.httpPort=1234 and
XI.httpService=/file/Receiver, the end point address of the file/FTP adapter in the Integration Engine must be specified as follows:
    http://<fileadapterhost>:1234/file/Receiver"
Can anyone explain what exactly is this endpoint address and where should it be specified/referred to ?
    Thanks
    Saravana

    Hi,
    "http://<fileadapterhost>:1234/file/Receiver"
this adress refers to an end point with the end point type "xi-connectivity" in the integration directory (ID)which refers to the settings in the file adapter (httpPort=1234 and XI.httpService=/file/Receiver)
    1. you specify these adress in the file adapter (outbound)
    2. you refer to these adress in the ID (Receiver System End points)
every file adapter should have an own port, because you can not specify two identical ports in two fileadapters.
    hope I could help you,
    michele

  • Dynamic configuration of receiver communicaton channel?

I have files, Header line tells which server it should go.(Like ip address and port). How can dinamically configure the receiver communication channel.
    Thank You
    Ganges Leaves

    Hi,
I have very similar requirement, In my scenario I need to pick up files from 4 static locations and based on the file name and pick up type(file/ftp) I can find out the destination's connectivity information from a Cross-Referencing table(Based on MS-SQL Database table- I can get this using look API) in this table we maintaining more than 100 destinations(host/user_name/password etc).
Now I need to set the connectivity information dynamically at runtime. I know this is not possible with Standard XI but does anyone thinks this is possible by any technical way using with XI.. Adapter Modules or Java Proxies?
This is very Critical to win the war with other middleware tools. Please let me know your thoughts and comments...

  • Can 1 MDB configured to receive messages from 2 Queues

    Hi,
Is is possible to configure 1 MDB to listen to 2 queues

Deploying the very same MDB twice is not a "trick" or unusual as your comment suggests. A MDB is a stateless component. It just receives messages. If you deploy the same MDB twice and link it to different queues, it is exactly as if one MDB where configured to receive from 2 queues.
So everything is possible with MDBs. You can consume from multiple destinations and can even mix queues and topics. The only thing you must keep in mind is that you have at least that many MDB instances (of the same MDB) as destinations (= MDB deployments). However, for scalability reasons you would have multiple MDB instances in most cases.
I don't see a reason why sombody should switch to a proprietary thing like your MDS and I don't understand why you mention this in nearly every post. Buy banner ads instead.
