Confimation Error

Hi SRM gurus
We have issue while doing confirmation, no approval workflow(WS10400010) for confiramtion has been activated and we are trying to confirm the PO with currency GBP. It is working fine for PO with currency USD. I did not find any thing useful under RZ20.
The error is
No approval workflow found inform system administrator
System status INCM active (Confirmation 11261)
We are SRM5.0 ECS.

Also check this out as well ->
"System status INCM is active" in SRM means that your doc is "Incomplete".
There is an error so you can not validate it, only park it. This system status prevent you from ordering/submitting/validating the document until you corrected the error.
Please check that you have activated the PO change WF. transaction SWB_PROCUREMENT - BUS2201 for PO. Looks like, You didn't set a default currency in your starting conditions ! (right now you have "no default currency" displayed... Please go in change mode and select in the drop down list the currency you want !
1) This sounds like the vendor is set up for ERS... Check the settings against the vendor. It might be worth trying to create a confirmation against a non-ERS vendor and see if you get the same problem.
The IPC is required and I don't think this is an issue for this problem. Please test with a non-ERS vendor as well ?
The problem definitely seems to be with the ERS activation for the vendor.
The vendor you have choosen is an ERS vendor.If you choose any other vendor you will not face this problem.
If you want to continue with the same vendor, check the below mentioned settings :
In the SRM system in SPRO settings check what option was choosen for " Defining system for Tax calculation"
SPRO > IMG > SRM > SRM Server > Cross Application Basic Settings > Tax Calculation > Determine system for tax calculation
There you choose the R/3 back end system for tax calculation as you can not maintain FI settings in SRM.
Also ensure the payment terms are maintained in the P.O. In the Tax codes for EBP create a tax code and check no tax check box and make it deafult.
2) Try to activate minimum one workflow so that the confirmation gets posted. Try with the one I mentioned before (WS10400010-no workflow required) in Tx OOCU.

Sender mail Adapter - Log in Error

Hi,
I am facing the below error while communicating with the mail server using the POP3 transport protocol.
exception caught during processing mail message; java.io.IOException: unexpected password response; read -ERR Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password.
Confimed with the mail server administrator there is no issue with log in credentials.
We are able to access the mail box using the same user ID & password through webservice URL. But if we use the same User ID & password in communication channel it is showing the above error.
Any one have the idea about other possibilities to get this error?

It is POP3 protocol setup. We are able to login using webservise URL. But not able to log in with Mail adapter.

How do I stop my iTunes from getting an "error and has to close" message?

When I open iTunes, it wants to update my Music Match and I get an error message that "iTunes has experienced an error and has to close". How do I prevent this?

No, an external drive will not always be mounted. If the drive goes to sleep, it can unmount, or it may unmount for other reasons. As Chris said, confim that the drive is mounted and active before launching iTunes.

Error while posting confirmation for limit PO

Hi Experts,
we are having a standalone scenario(SRM 7) and the issue is as mentioned below
The situation is that the PO is a limit order with 2 line items. The first line item is complete and has been closed off with the u201Cno further confirmation/invoiceu201D indicators selected. However the 2nd line still has some limit remaining but the when the central confirmations attempts to enter a good receipt against the line they get an error message which is "No Confirmation could be entered for purchase order"
please guide me how to solve this.

please find furhte information.
a limit sc is created for a value of 37000 GBP and after approval it created a PO. but the user went and added a line item directly in PO for 40000 GBP. Now the total value of SC is 77000 GBP.
user has created a confirmation for 36000GBP and selected no confirmation required further.there is no issues with this lin item
but with the second line item he posted confimation for value 37000 gbp and invoiced for 30000 GBP.
when i am trying to post confirmation for 3000 GBP system is throwing an error that "no confirmation could be entered for purchase order"
could any one guide me how to solve this or any suggestions for solving this.

Error while converting BPMN to BPEL in Business Process Architect

Hey,
I am using Business Process Architect 11gR1 where I have modeled my process. Now that I have to move this model to BPM, I am using the option SOA -> share blueprint with IT in BPA. A dialog appears that asks to validate the model. I confim with "Yes" and it shows the conversion progress bar but after the while an error appears (a java exception). A report opens in my browser that has the following message

Hi Julika,
The error message might not be related to the activities itself. I assume your model is not well structured. Consider that the following points aren't disregarded:
* Never "jump" out of a particular branch into a different part of the model or into another branch
* All functions/events have only one incoming/outgoing connection
* Process parallel flows should be specified by splitting and joining AND/XOR rules, or they should contain either one splitting AND/XOR rule only for which there is no other connection between their paths, or one joining AND/XOR rule only that is met by all connections.

Error on adding more than tone line

Hi All,
I have a requirement that user can enter an order line but also allow them to clone the line many times.
If user just finished a line info entry then click the sumbit, I have no problem to commit this line into the line table.
If user set clone line number, then I create new row(s) and copy all key field values from first row and reassign a new sequence number to one of key field which only allow unique value.
Before I call AM trans commit, I loop all rows and confirmed that all key values are in place, but I still got one key field(which is FK) is required on EO table error message.
Since I can insert one row but not 1+ in the same time, I guess the "clone" process may be wrong. I don't get why it keep complaining about key field is required even I checked is there before I commit??
Please provide me any suggestions or help to debug this.

I've tried as mentioned but still got same error on top.
I can commit one line but can't commit more than that if line VO has more than one row.
I have to set VO.setValidation() to false when I "clone" the first row, otherwise, I will get "oracle.jbo.TooManyObjectsException: JBO-25013: Too many objects match the primary key oracle.jbo.Key[156103 null ]." some kind error on top when I trying to insert new row into VO.
After I inserted new row(s), I copy OrderId (first PK, FK) and generate LineId (PK) then copy rest of fields from row one.
Before I commit AM, I loop Line VO and confimed all OrderId and LineId are in each row.
After that, I still got OrderId attribute is required for the line EO.
If I hard code OrderId into AM, I can commit multiple lines with same orderId into line table by multiple transaction. I just can't do multiple lines in one transaction.
Any suggestion?

Error as Enter while creation of PO due to this PO is not created in ME21N

Hi All,
I have an issue where one of my user cannot able to create a PO with refernce to Network and he is getting error as ENTER while creation of PO in ME21N and there is no long text for this error.Also user cannot able to create a PO whenever he clicked on save button the only option he got is Hold or Edit or cancel.
I have asked user to provide the same information (inputs while creation of PO in ME21N) to his colleague and check whether he can able to create a PO successfully or not. User confirmed that his colleague can able to create a PO successfully.
Please let me know what was the root cause behind this.

Note: I have crossverified with technical team and they confim all the required roles are in place for my user.

Just message ENTER is pretty unusual. Even if there is no long text, the message should at least have a message number, can you tell this number? In general there should be the field name next to the message.

Ipod error -48

Long time no visit!
I haven't been here for a while coz all my ipod/itunes has been going so well - many updates went thru very easliy. Our household seems to be awash with ipods and 3 PCs running iTunes all very happily!
However (groan!) I tried to load a song onto my ipod photo 20Gb by connecting to my son's pc running the latest iTunes 7.2. For whatever reason the system froze and the ipod just sat there showing the "Do not disconnect" sign for quite a while. It was not apparent anything was happening. We tried to eject the ipod using "safely remove hardware" but to no avail.
We decided simply to disconnect physically and a quick check of the pod seemed to suggest no harm done and all the songs were still there playing fine.
I then plugged the pod into my own PC (running iTunes 7.1) and during the mounting process I got a message asking me to name my ipod and to confirm I wanted to auto synch - I always set my ipod to manual. After naming (as the original name) I got a series of error boxes all saying the same thing (approx 3 of them) - essentially "could not synch ipod "name" unknown error -48" and in the system tray a message suggesting I should run "chkdsk".
I have update my itunes to 7.2 and done an ipod update too -all seemed to go fine.
I have searched the forums and seen da gophas lengthy tome re restoring the pod to get rid of what I now believe to be a corrupt file or two on the ipod probably caused by disconnecting when I should not have done.
I have back up music so I am not particularly fazed by having to do this and I do hope it works.
However, and this is my query - the wierd thing is I can close the 2 or 3 error windows and there in my source list is my ipod happy as Larry! I can add music to it and alter song volume settings fine. It dismounts fine too. I do occasionally get an error window come up but I can close it and continue. So, advice please guys - do I leave well alone and put up with the annoyance or should I really address the error i.e. will it get worse do you think?
I notice that very time I plug my poorly pod into itunes I have to name it again and confim I don't want to auto synch, but I don't update that often so I am wondering if I am best leaving it alone!

Yes. Format the iPod is Disk Utility, then do a full restore through iTunes, and the problem may be fixed for you (see below):
Recently, someone talked with Apple about error 48, and got some advice that worked. Here's the solution for error 48 that worked for "LozzTheRev" who's on a Mac computer:
i spoke to Apple yesterday and they said to completely wipe the hard drive on the iPod via disk utilities and then restore it through iTunes. i've tried this and is working so far

Background
Pre-installed Windows 7 system on computer recognized CD/DVD ROM drive for about 3 months. Malware corrupted the OS. I re-installed the OS from the recovery drive's partition. CD/DVD ROM drive failed to read or write, and I cannot restore old files or back-up current configuration via CD/DVD ROM drive. All updates for Windows 7 and hardware drivers seem to be installed and up-to-date as of 10/4/2011.
Troubleshooting Steps
1. Tried to read audio CD. Same error message.
2. Tried to read data CD-ROM. Same error message.
3. Tried to read data DVD-ROM. Same error message.
4. Writing to DVD ROM failed. Same error message.
5. Re-loaded OS 2nd time. No change. Same error message.
6. Checked with HP Support Assistant. DVD drive is recognized, but not media. No change.
7. Checked Device Manager. DVD drive is recognized as TS-L633R.
8. Driver is cdrom.sys version 6.1.7600.16385. Clicked Update Driver, no change.
9. Tried uninstalling and re-installing the driver. No change.
10. Checked BIOS. AMD Turion II P540 Dual Core processor 2.4Ghz. BIOS appears to be up-to-date, version F.27.
11. BIOS lists CD/DVD ROM drive as bootable. Re-ordered drive to boot first and used Knoppix Linux boot disc, no change. Windows booted instead.
12. Reviewed registry for "upper filter" and "lower filter" entries. Checked registry 4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318. No upper filter or lower filter entries present. No change.
13. Ran "Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter"; it cannot detect the cd/dvd. No change.
The drive has power, spins, is recognized by Windows 7 and the BIOS. However, it will not read or write CD ROM or DVD ROM discs.
I'm out of options. What else can I do to make the cd/dvd rom drive read and write cds?

Update:
I chatted online with Ben S. at HP tech support via the HP Support Assistant. Helpful guy. Thank you, Ben. He worked through it and his counterpart Alan is sending me a new DVD/CD drive. Ben S checked the following:
1. Confirmed that I had tried multiple discs to check different formats: DVD-R, CD-RW, audio CD, video DVD, software data CD. None were recognized.
2. CD/DVD icon appears in My Computer. Confirmed.
3. Checked Device Manager for yellow exclamation marks. None present.
4. Opened below Device Manager and checked for yellow exclamation marks. HP CDDVDW TS-L633R ATA device listed correctly. Redundant, but I understand; it's a good check.
5. Confimed the Model and Serial Number.
6. Asked whether I had done a System Recovery. I had. Twice. First time it didn't restore the drive, so I thought I'd try it again. Second time also did not restore the drive.
7. Ben S. concluded that the drive has a hardware malfunction, and offered drive replacement under warranty since I purchased in April. I should have it by Oct 17, and then I have 15 days to return the broken drive or I'm charged $80.
Alan offered an additional year of warranty service for about $100. Ben's guess on the root cause was a bad lens from stress on the DVD tray. I don't recall any stress events. I've had this laptop since April, 2011, and the drive failed at the end of September. 7 months. This surprised me considering I've got other notebook computers with drives that have lasted years and still haven't failed.
I'll check in when I get the replacement drive.

Error in accesing the URL for Sender SOAP Adapter

I am wrkiing on SOAP-XI-Proxy Scenario. i have completed IR, ID and WSDL generation process.
While Generating the WSDL File I used following URL. (No Party in my case)

Cancellation of confimations

I have a problem while cancellation of conformations.
I have created a Production order and confirmed the same by co11n, the same is cleared in quality also.
I want to cancel the above confimation
By using co13 i have cancelled the same.
But the above quantity is in cogi and i am unable to do any thing in cogi.
Please give the solution to the above problem at the earliest.

Revert with the error detail which is appearing in COGI
For finding the error description,select the material,go to details icon,there in the right side you will find the error text

Error coming while creating sales order Thru' Assembly processing.u00A0

I am working on assembly processing. when i am creating sales order if order qty when i am giving more then 999 means if i given 1000 kg it giving an error like the exection factor in the network is reduced to 1000 to 1 kg and confimed as 1 kg only and system is giving msg *Change not accepted (execution factor in network too large)* where i have tomodify this .
In above context i would like to brief you that i can't extend quantity more then 999(Three alfabet).
All suggestions will be apreciated with good points.

Check in MMR the following settings :
1) Base unit of measure
2) sales unit
3) Strategy group maintained in MMR ->MRP 3 view
4) Availability check(sales/general plant view in MMR ) and MRP type (MRP1 view in MMR) has been maintained or not.
5) Check the fields maintained in the MRP 3 view.

ITunes Match error - confused

Hi folks
Just subscribed to this new service (in the UK) and it's frustrating me. I eventually got it to finish its initial process (had to stop & start a few times as it seemed to hang during uploading) but I have a lot of files (3,852 out of 24,934 items) showing 'error' and 94 files showing 'waiting' in the iCloud Status. I've tried re-uploading them using the context menu but it continues to say 'error' with no further description.
To make it worse, these files are now missing from my iPhone library - I turned on iTunes match (on the iPhone) before I reaslised half the files had errors, but having turned it off again and re-synced, the files are still missing from the iPhone. By missing, I mean that the tracklisting for an album shows the track, but it is dimmed out and cannot be played.
Most of these error files are on normal mainstream albums, where 9 out of 10 tracks are uploaded but one shows an error.
What are the possible reasons for the error, and how do I get my music back on my iPhone?

There was another user here with a similar problem a few days ago - are ALL your "uploaded" files failing? If so, then you might have a pattern.
I had suggested to them to confim that their ISP or your local router isn't blocking uploads, for some reason - I would suggest the same thing here. Start with a non-iTunes upload like dropbox or megaupload, just to ensure that those work. Then move onto iTM testing - not thousands of files, I would just create a new library and test one or two of those failed files - there has to be a reason for it. Also if you are a Windows user you might want to turn off all anti-virus and firewall products, just as a test temporarily, to see if the uploads start working.
Lastly, make sure that the files themselves are compaitble with iTM - for example, I know that Vorbis files cannot be uploaded. Probably not a likely problem here, but I don't know your setup so you want to eliminate that as a factor.
