Confirm my eligibility for getting free iphone 4 bumper?

If I buy an iphone 4 from an apple reseller (eg. AT&T, Telstra...) will I still be eligible to get a free bumper case?

I bought my iPhone 4 on Craigs list. I applied for the free bumper case on the iPhone APP and found that I was eligable. I think they just need to see that you are registered and then you get the case.
I got a Bumper case from a friend and i misplaced it. Now I have to wait till September 7th for the free one.

Extremely disappointed in a promotion I took advantage of way back in March 2014 for a free 5c iphone. I purchased the "free" phone and was told I would see the $200 credit on my account in 1-3 months. Time ticked on and I never did see this credit on my monthly bill. I phoned the Verizon number and spoke to someone who tried to research this issue. He told me best to go to the store where I purchased the phone. Went to the store but was told to contact the manager and district manager via email. Did that attached a copy of my order and credit card statement showing the purchase of the phone. Seemed pretty straightforward according to the manager - especially since he too remembered this promotion. Needed to talk to Verizon corporate and the promotion number. No one seems to know of this promotion - as noted in this community. Have had a run around for the past 2 1/2 months on this with the store manager. After having to reach out again on the status of this issue I was told the best they could do is give me a $100 credit for merchandise in the store. This is not acceptable. My family has been a long standing good customer of Verizon and I am very ready to jump ship. All I want is the promotion that I was offered. It appears that many people had this same occurrence happen to them. Some seem to have had it resolved. Can anyone at Verizon help me on this? Does anyone know the promotion code so that maybe I could do the job that Verizon isn't doing!

Phone was purchased at the Verizon Store in Alpharetta GA on Rucker Rd and Crabapple Rd.
I contacted Ryan << removed >> via email per the sales guy at the store's sales guys recommendation.
Ryan had me working with the store Manager, Keith << removed >>. Keith worked hard at first but as of late has dropped the ball on getting this done. I only get information when I reach out to him....either calling the store, emailing or visiting the store in person. Usually, he is busy (naturally) and makes a call to someone at corporate but the person on the other end isn't there. The response he seems to get is this is not a valid promotion. He in person has told me that he himself remembers this promotion.
I don't want any other equipment/devices from the store. I really just want my $200 bill pay credit.
I was in the store on 3/31/14 but the phone had to be ordered since it wasn't in stock. It eventually shipped to my in the end of April. I have attached the email for validation. Also in there are the other phones that were purchased on my credit card for verizon. You will note I did purchase a 5s on the 3/31/14 as well.
Please keep me in the loop on this...and let me know what you find.
I will be so appreciative if you can get me the promotion number and/or credit our account.

Create a NEW account using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before.

Apparently actually respnding to the crisis wasn't in Apple's power. We are going to give you a case to solve the issue, but it is going to take us the weekend to update our website with the details. Wouldn;t it be easier if they jsut said, take you phone into the store and we will give you a case. If the store is out, here is where you sign up to have one sent to you.
Sorry but you don't have to create mystery or buzz around shipping cases out so that people feel excited about getting their case.

Free iPhone 4 bumper in Sweden?

Hello all i live in Sweden and have a iPhone 4 bought in Great Britain.
The iPhone isent released here in sweden yet, (it will be in a couple of weeks). How do i go about to order a free bumper when the ordering app isent in the Swe. app store yet.
Will i have to wait?

I don't know if you'll be able to order a free bumper in Sweden for a UK-purchased iPhone. I'm pretty sure that you will not be able to order the bumper from the UK and have it shipped to Sweden. You'll probably need to wait and see if Apple has the same offer for Sweden, and if so if your UK iPhone will qualify.

IPhone 4 Bumper issue in Turkey

iPhone 4 had been puted on the market officially on the 24th of september. But none of the customers was able to get a "Bumper" neither free nor by paying. There is not even a single "bumper" on the market including the Apple Premium Resellers. Also we cannot buy "Apple Case Program" from iTunes. We could not even see that application. So how and when would we be able to achieve a "bumper" either it's free or not?

The temporary promotion from Apple for the free iPhone 4 bumper case program was only open to select countries. This was to appease early buyers due to reports of reception issues. There isn't any need for a case other than to protect your iPhone from damage. The so called "antenna issue" is a non-issue that has been blown way out of proportion due to users who either received a defective iPhone that should be swapped or don't understand how cellphones work on cellular networks. I have no issue with my iPhone 4 and my friends, family and colleagues have also confirmed they have no issues. Like any cellphone if you were to hold it outside and the signal bars dropped from 5 to none then your phone is defective and should be repaired or swapped. If you experience issues indoors with reception that isn't an issue with the iPhone and is an issue with the signal gain you're getting from your local carrier tower. I have used the iPhone 4 both with and with out a case and it performs the same. Outdoors I get 4-5 bars holding the iPhone and indoors 3 to 4 bars depending on where I am and how much physical obstruction is between me and the local tower. Anyone that lives in an already poor reception area should get a GSM signal booster for indoor use to improve their reception and not blame Apple for their reception which is due to living/working in heavily concrete buildings or using the iPhone in fringe areas of their carrier network.

Trying to check eligibility for iPhone purchase

From the Store, Im trying to "Get Started" on checking my eligibility for the $99 iPhone model. However, when I enter my address to go to the next step, it continuously comes back that it cannot find my address.
I've tried several variations (numbers instead of spelling out, abbreviations and whole words) and it keeps returning this way.

The easiest and best way to check eligibility is by dialing *NEW# (*639#) from your phone. Or you can go to apple.com/iphone/buy and fill out the form there to find out.

3wk old imac, should get free lion upgrade - why not an option in SIN

We bought our new imac on the 26th June. On the US Website it says we are eligable for a free upgrade to Lion and there is a link to follow. Yet on the Singapore App store there is no option to do such.
Can anyone help

Thinking About Switching To Getting an iPhone. But some Questions. .. .?

My Verizon wireless contract will reach its end in January of 2008. I will then be free to choose another provider if i choose so and iphone with att looks appealing.
But before i make the switch i have some concerns and question i'd like to be answered:
What is the initial start up cost for getting an iPhone?
I'm assuming,
the iPhone at $399
and then either the $59.99 or $79.99 monthly bill right?
Or is there some sort of hidden fee such as a connection or new customer fee or whatever?
Also, Free internet to go online but is it realible? I'm hearing it's super slow and it's a crowded network. Anyone clarify on this?
Next, I use Gmail and it syncs perfectly (and free) to "Mail" in my Macbook. Can I get mail for free on my iPhone with my Gmail account?
Even though Cingular is now the new Att, Do Rollover Minutes still apply?
And finally, is it worth it?

Like all devices, it has its little glitches from time to time, but overall its seems to work great...and I have the original iPhone...never had a real problem that couldnt be fixed by simply turning it off and on...
As for payment questions, you may want to contact Optus, Telstra or Vodafone...looks like they are the carriers in Australia.
(Scotland uses O2 as a carrier)

IPhone 4 Bumper necessary?

Hi guys, just curious whether I should get an iPhone 4 bumper? Found some sources online which proves how tough the iphone 4 is... Just wondering if I still need an additional bumper for protection

When I had the original iPhone I got a leather sleeve for it as I keep it in my pocket with keys and loose change.
I got a plastic shell case and a screen protector when I got the iPhone 4 as I didn't like having to pull the sleeve off to use the iPhone. I didn't like it. It was ugly and it added bulk. I ditched that for a belt clip leather case, to keep it away from the metal objects in my pocket.
It was a cheap case from a street vendor and broke afyer a while. I decided to chance it and go caseless.
My iPhone lives in my pocket with keys and change. It's been a couple of months and not a mark on it.
Now it is true that it has no protection if I drop it. But I never dropped the original iPhone and it was a more slippery shape. I just cant see putting a case on a sleek piece of technology– it would be like putting plastic slip covers on a couch.
I have not noticed reception problems without a case, as some have reported.

IPhone 4 bumper delivery

I ordered my free iPhone 4 bumper on thursday (August 12). As of today it it prepared for shipment. I live in New York and how long will it take for it to deliver? By the way it's being delivered by U.S. Postal.

I ordered Bumper for both of my Iphone as soon as Apple made Applce Case Apps available. I think it is now more than 2 months and dont know what happened to my order yet and when it will be shipped. Any estimation ? My wife is frick me out as so many call drops for her. I regret my purchase of iPhone and not returning. Look for the NEW model. The one you can order off of Apple's website will be a new model. The model number will say iPhone 4 Bumper instead of IPHONE 4 BUMPER. The packaging is also different being that the text saying iPhone Bumper on the front has been lowered.
