CONFIRMATION PURCHASE ORDER

Hi all,
i know that confirmation in purchase order is at item level.
But now have to put this at header level. I would like to enter the order confirmation number in the PO header.
Or an automatically method to put the confirmation number in all item lines.
What can be the solution to this problem?

Hi,
You can try using the field " Your reference "  in PO header - Communication tab to enter the order confirmation no. sent by your vendor, but it will not have any impact. This is for recording purpose only.

    I have searched a lot for the following need and I have found nothing. I was wondering if there ia any report that I can show the scheduled delivery dates from a Purchase order. I have seen in ME2L that by placing EINT in scope of list I can see the schedule lines. However, if there is a new delivery date due to supplier confirmation that have been placed in PO with the indicator AB this is not appeared. At the same time if there is a partial quantity that has already been delivered then it does not appear as well. So, I need a report with all the scheduled delivery line plus the open quantity.

    It is very strange. Because what I see is that in this report the confirmation date is not appeared although the schedule line is appeared. Then If I go to change the confirmation date in PO for second time then it is appeared. I have no idea why this is happening

  • CONFIRMATION OF  PURCHASE ORDERS CREATED FOR SERVICE

    We have implemented the Extended Classic Scenario on SRM 5.0 and WF1400020 has been activated for Confirmation of Services. When a service confirmation has been done, but not yet approved, the system allows you to create another confirmation, even although the first confirmation was for the full quantity on the purchase order. Can anyone please assist in explaining why this is allowed.

    your problem was mine. I've posted for it a message to SAP AG.
    Unfortunately, I have to inform you that the system behaviour you have
    described in this message is exactly how it is designed to work.
    Technical reason for the system behaviour:
    After approving a confirmation the system performs the following steps:
    1) it creates an IDoc which will be passed to the backend for creationof the goods receipt document on the backend.
    2) at the same time it creates an entry in table BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB for
    the PO. If a user now would try to perform a confirmation he will get
    the error message 'System user' already processing purchasing doc item
    'xxxxxxxxx' 'xxxxx'
    3) the entry in table BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB remains in the table until the
    report CLEAN_REQREQ_UP has detected that the goods receipt document in
    the backend has been posted succesfully. Then this entry will be deleted and the status of the PO will be set to "Fully delivered" respectively
    in case of a partial delivery the open quantity will be reduced accordingly
    If you want to achieve the immediate locking of the PO
    for confirmation you always have to use a workflow without an approval
    step for the confirmation

  • Purchase order not visble for confirmation in SRM 7.0 portal

    Hi all,
    I am basically a portal consultant .The functional consultant configured in such a way that once the user creates a shopping cart it will create a Purchase order.
    But when i go into central confirmation role  and click on create confirmation document and search for the Purcahse order it is not getting displayed.
    But There are some 11 pos in the system with 9 pos of  status order and  2 pos status saved.
    Please help me in resolving this.

    Hope you might have some option called Express confirmation. check it up.
    You can use this business process to confirm the receipt of goods. In SAP SRM, purchasers can create confirmations themselves, even if the purchase order is in the back-end system. It is possible to create express confirmations directly in the Check Status application without having to switch to another application.
    Alternatively, an internal dispatcher or shipping department can take delivery of goods and confirm centrally. In this case, an additional approval workflow through the supplier is possible. Then, the goods receipt is posted in the back-end system.
    You can also cancel an existing confirmation at item level. In addition to all of this, you can return partial quantities of individual items (or of all items) to your suppliers, and state the reasons for these return deliveries. These reasons are also transferred to the back-end system

    while posting GR to a PO i am getting an error ' Purchase order XXXXXXXXX does not contain a confirmation control key'
    it is true that i have not defined any confirmation control key in PO, Aknowled rerd checkbox is also not ticked
    Still why this message coming, what setting would be bringing this message

    Until the installation of Note 589422 (with SP SAPKH46C43) you could  due to a program error - create a delivery even though the purchase order did not contain any confirmation control key.                                                                               
    This is now prevented through error message M7394. The transfer of this check (Confirmation control key existing in the purchase order, see Note 589422) was necessary as otherwise you could post a purchase order as desired. (Refer to also Note 616944 -> SAPKH46C44)
    589422 Several inbound deliveries can be created with MIGO :                                                                               
    "Implement the program correction.                                       
    With Transaction SE91 create message M7394 with the message text:        
    Purchase order & & does not contain a confirmation control key".         
    After you implemented this correction, when you want to create an        
    inbound delivery with Transaction MB01 or MIGO or with                   
    BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE and if the purchase order does not contain a        
    confirmation control key the system displays error message M7394         
    "Purchase order & & does not contain a confirmation control key".

  • Generating Inbound delivery based on Vendor Confirmation for Purchase order

    Is there a way to create Inbound deliveries based on Vendor confirmation for a purchase order.
    Here is the complete scenario.
    Buyer Creates the PO for qty 100 and Date August 29
    Vendor Confirms that he can supply a qty of 50 for August 29 and remaining 50 for Sep15th
    Based on vendor confirmation, Buyer creates 2 vendor confirmations (AB) to match with the data received from Buyer, without modifing the PO.
    Requirement:
    Inbound deliveries should get created based on the vendor confirmation.
    As MRP looks at Inbound delivery for Planning purposes once they are available, Inbound delivery should match with vendor confirmation data.
    Is it possible to get this requirement met with standard config available in SAP.

    Does anyone knows what the possible link is between a Service Order / Service Order Confirmation in CRM and a Purchase Order in ECC ? I heard that this could be found somewhere in the document flow of a Service Order ....
    How do we get the Purchase Order number from ECC in the Document flow section of an Service Order in CRM ?
    We need the PO number somehow to be able to create a Goods Received document in ECC from CRM.

    Hello Abjuh,
    As of CRM 4.0 (with Service Industry extensions), you can automatically create ECC Purchase Orders from a CRM service order.
    It is possible to track the status of the individual service order items with the document flow.

    I have many positions for a purchase order and I want to create a confirm for the same delivery date and quantity of every purchase order item .
    If i have many positions is too onerous the manual creation for every positions.
    Does exist a tool that create in fast mode the confirmations for all the positions of a purchase order ?

    In confirmations tab (in purchase order, item details), i can put:
    a) Confirmation Control Key --> if i set this one, i can't enter goods receipt if i haven't received confirmation from vendor and insert this in PO.
    b)flag of Confirmation Requirement --> if i put only this flag, i can enter goods receipt also if i entered nothing in the field "Order Acknowledgment Number". Instead, i would like that i can't enter goods receipt if i havent't received confirmation from vendor..
    Is this possible???

    This is Std SAP. If you are using confirmation control once you have entered and save.unless the vendor sends some acknowledgment .(or) Create Inbound delivery Vl31n enter the qty .save it .The ASN no will be inthe P.O confirmation tab.
    After that only you can raise GR.

    If you tick the confirmation req only and not entered any thing in Confirmation control , you can raise GR .It is only for Information
    .Order acknowldegement  number  is for reference only

  • BAPI for Purchase Order Confirmation and update EKES table

    Hi all,
    I have a requirement to update the PO confirmation soon after successful creation of PO in an IDOC.
    I have used BAPI_PO_CHANGE function module which didnt serve the purpose as it cannot update confirmations.
    I tried using ME_CONFIRMATION_UPDATE where I was able to add a confirmation entry in EKES table but that is not being reflected in ME23N transaction when I display the PO.
    Please help me out on this.

    NB: Never use a standard update FM (check attributes of ME_CONFIRMATION_UPDATE) its often only a SQL statement collector without any check, logging of changes or database consistency, if you perform a where-used you should find it is never called alone but with a bunch of other update FM after checks and other update preparation.
    Get back to the BAPI and table parameter POCONFIRMATION, also use BAPI_PO_GETDETAIL1 to get current data for the call of BAPI_PO_CHANGE.

  • SRM 7.0 Purchase Order Response always in status "In process" after confirm

    Hello experts,
    this problem is similar to the thread [SRM-SUS Purchase Order Response always "In Status"; which has been not finally responded.
    My problem exists in an environment without SUS.
    When a buyer confirms a PO response (POR) without any change, the system generates a new PO response with status "In process".  This new POR has also to be confirmed or rejected but the system generates again a new PO response with status "In process".
    So we have a very nice loop for the purchaser without escape!
    We are on SRM 7.0 SP07. The other thread mentioned that SAP will create some OSS notes, but I found nothing about this problem.
    Any ideas?

    Hi Gurus.
    I want to share my experience with this case.
    We have the same scenario, Confirm PO, the result is PO confirmed, but we receive a response from ECC and this Confirmed PO changes its status to "In Process" / "En Tratamiento".
    The new relevant information is that we added 2 new fields to the item PO, these fields are filled ok and sent to ECC.
    In a first time these new fields were lost due to the response from ECC. To avoid this situation I implemented the BADI BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI for BUS2230, and method BBP_SUSPO_CHANGE to copy from the BBP_PDISC (Object BUS2230) rows the values to the new rows in the same table BBP_PDISC (Object BUS2201).
    With this change the new documents are confirmed directly and not changed to "In Process"/ "En tratamiento".
    That was my experience, now I have a question...
    In the correct business process for SAP SRM SUS  when you confirm full a PO...
    * this will be blocked or no?
    * Can be modified the confirmed items?
    * This depends of customizing?

    We work on a SRM 5 release with a classic scenario.
    We use the EBP-SUS supplier collaboration scenario (clients are different for SRM and SUS).
    The purchasing document flow is describe below:
    1- SRM Shopping Cart
    2- R/3 Purchase Request (then, SRM SC history is updated with the PR number)
    3- R/3 Purchase Order (then, an IDoc is sent to XI which generates a XML document sent to EBP-SUS in order to create the corresponding sales order - SRM SC history is updated with the PO number).
    4- Then, supplier can confirm or reject the PO received. So, the SUS Purchase Order Confirmation is generated and sent back to R/3 ( via XI)
    5- R/3 PO is updated with the posted PO confirmation (you can see the confirmation control key AB in the 'Confirmation' tab of the PO item concerned).
    My request is to send a notification to the requester's mail client in order to inform him that supplier confirmed or rejected the PO.
    I noticed that notification receivers definition is possible in SPRO, but only for "Process Purchase Order Response". I guess this notification is for BUS2209 (SRM POR) and not for BUS2232 (PO confirmation for SUS).
    That's why i cannot use it: can anyone confirm this ?
    As alternative, i tried to use alert management in SPRO (in the SUS client) for BUS2232 with sub-category of event SRM_SUS_PO_CONF in ALRTCATDEF transaction for SRM Alerts, but it does not work (even if i schedule report RSALERTPROC ).
    Does anyone have a suggestion regarding my customizing ?
    Finally, when PO confirmation is posted in R/3 (step 5 seen above), the SRM SC history is not updated with the PO confirmation number: is this the standard way ?
    If yes and that the described notification (alert) customizing i indicated above are not possible, does it seem i will have to develop a specific notification process in R/3 when R/3 PO is updated with its PO confirmation coming from SRM-SUS ?

    I have purchase requisition related sales order item. I created purchase order with this PR.
    I entry confirmation date and quantity on the PO.
    Sales order item's delivery date equal to purchase order item's confirmation date.
    Sales order item's confirmed quantity eq purchase order item's confirmed quantity. It is ok for me.
    But, goods receipt not do yet for this purchase order and sales order stock = 0.
    If I run VL10N for this sales order, I can create delivery.
    I wants to see availilable sales order stock item on the VL10N items. How can I see?
    or
    If no goods receipt for sales order items then sales order item confirmed quantity can equal 0. How can I do?

    Hi
    You can meet your requirement in multiple ways
    1) Modify the requirement routine for copy control from Sales order to Delivery  that DO not create the delivery for third party orders unless the GR is posted for the respective sales order.
    2) IF you have implementded Inbound Delivey functionality in your system, You can change the availabiltity situation every time you modify the GR dates and times. Modify the PO user exit that when ever a new confirmation Key LA is entered in the purchase order it goes and updates the schdule line dates and quantities in the order based on the dates entered in the LA confirmation key.
    and even if delivey gets created also what is the problem ? The GI cannot be posted though unlsess there is sufficient stock.

  • Purchase Order resent when Confirmation

    I have an issue regarding sending of Purchase Orders. We use program RSPPFPROCESS to send Purchase Orders which are in stauts "Ordered". Problem is that when a user creates a Confirmation on this Purchase Order, PO is resent to supplier. We do not understand why?
    RSPPFPROCESS is launched with parameters "Actions that are not repeated" and "Only Actions found automatically"

    Hi Prabhakaran
    The Confirmation Control tab has a field for selecting the COnfirmaiton control Key for the PO Item. This key Determines which confirmation categories are expected for a PO item (e.g. order acknowledgment, shipping notification).
    There are four categories delivered in the standard system, which decides whether you need only a ASN for a PO Item, or ASN with a rough GR, or Rough GR only etc.
    Once you have this key set up, system expects you to create that document for this item before you process the GR or Invoice.
    You can also set up automatic ASN creation if you have EDI Integration with the vendor.
    Benefit of ASN is that you ve the confirmed delivery dates and quantities well in advance and warehouse/Inventory team can plan their operations accordingly in advance...
