Confirmation tasks in UWL for SRM 7.0

Hi,
We are currently running SRM 7.0 classic scenario.  We would like to have a user's confirmations display in the UWL.  From this we would like to be able to use the "Substitute" function of the UWL to assign the task to a different user.  Does anyone know if this is possible and how we can get the confirmation work item to display in the user's UWL?
Thanks,
Jeff

Hello Jeffrey,
First, check workflow log status for your business object using SWI1 transaction to be sure WI is waiting for approval
Then, check WI is inside user's Business Work Place ( SBWP transaction): if yes, there is a connection problem between SRM and your Portal or Portal settings are not correct.
Regards.
Laurent.

  • Confirmation against Backend PO for SRM@ERP2005

    Hi,
I'm having a problem in posting confirmation for a B/E PO. I have received an error message in the inbox of the userid that I have used to carried out the confirmation which says 'Entry in outbound table not found'. I have clicked on the linked provided in the message and it brings me to one of the IDOC transactions. In it, I saw additional info such as Basic type MBGMCR01 and status which says Error in ALE service.
I have included message types BBPCO, BBPIV and ACLPAY in the Maintain Distribution Model and Distribute Views. I remember that there is an additional message type to be maintained called MBGMCR but the system doesn't allow me to maintain this value in that config as it says it's actually a BAPI. I have also tried adding this as a BAPI but the system prompted to enter other mandatory info such as method which I have no clue at all.
Appreciate if anyone can help me and points will be rewarded. Thanks.
    Regards,
    Li Ping

    Yes , I did check it .
However , I dont think this works for SRM 7.0 extended classic scenario .
I have defined some custom fields in PO and want the values to be transferred to the backend PO .
Does this work with BBP_ECS_PO_OUT_BADI ?

  • Standard Behaviour of Due Date in UWL for SRM Workitems

We have a deployment of Enterprise Portal which is integrated to SAP SRM (7.02). I have two  queries regarding the standard behaviour of "Due Date" column in UWL:
    1. The column always displays today as the due date for all shopping carts, irrespective of delviery date. I would like to know whether this is an issue and also would be helpful if you elaborate on how is this calculated.
    2. The column is showing blank for any workitems other than shopping carts (Purchase Order change workitem, User change approvals, Invoice approvals etc.)
    Thanks

    Dear ArulPrakash
I hope you are well and many thanks for using the SAP Discussion Forums .
With reference to the scenario that you have described you mentioned the following:
You have a deployment of Enterprise Portal which is integrated to SAP SRM (7.02). You have two  queries regarding the standard behaviour of "Due Date" column in UWL:
The column always displays today as the due date for all shopping carts, irrespective of delviery date. You would like to know whether this is an issue and also would be helpful if you elaborate on how is this calculated.
The column is showing blank for any workitems other than shopping carts (Purchase Order change workitem, User change approvals, Invoice approvals etc.)
Ok regarding your queries kindly let me attempt to provide some clarification and oversight.
Firstly in terms of the column and the fact it displays todays date as the due date (irrespective of the actual delivery date).  Now from a broad level overview perspective it is possible to change the display of the due date in the UWL.  In the standard xml file you will see the following: <DisplayAttribute name="dueDate" type="date" width="" sortable="yes" format="medium" referenceBundle="due_date" hAlign="LEFT" vAlign="BASELINE" maxTextWidth="0" headerVisible="yes"/> The medium format refers to the output of the field displaying the date as follows: Jun 01, 2014. The short format refers to the output of the field displaying the date as follows: 06/01/14.The long format refers to the output of the field displaying the date as follows: June 01, 2014. The full format refers to the output of the field displaying the date as follows: Tuesday, June 01, 2014. I've attached some reference documentation below for further reference on both your queries.
Secondly regarding the blank columns for workitems. Here the first thing which needs to be ensured is that SAP Note: 1133821 - UWL Destination Service configuration is followed and setup accordingly in terms of configuration settings and parameters. Now you mention that this is occuring for another other item other than shopping carts? Are custom attributes involed here? Could you please have a look at the help document below to check the bahavior of retrieving custom attributes in UWL? http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/ef/f2aed99c414f81adacc6b897a6910a/content.htm

  • Configure UWL for SRM business workflow..

    All,
This is something new to me, I am trying to integrate SRM workflow system and UWL iView in Portal.
What are the configurations I need to do? Any step-by-step instructions??
    Appreciate your help.
    Thank you, John Miller

    Thanks Rajendra,
I did the configurations as you mentioned, seems like it's working
Is there a possibility to modify the UWL iVIew, so the End Users can approve/reject multiple items at once?
Something like providing radio buttons for approval/rejection for each item in the UWL iVIew?
    Thanks, John

  • Leave Request Not Appearing in UWL for Manager

    Hi,
We have a strange issue where leave requests are not appearing in the UWL for a specific manager.  We have checked with other managers and the leaves are appearing in their UWLs and they are able to process their employee's leaves without any issue.
For the manager not seeing the leave in their UWL, I have confirmed the following:
    1) Proper manager defaults in 'approver' field in ESS and employee is able to send leave request without issue
    2) Manager receives email to process employees leave request after RPTARQEMAIL program runs
    3) Leave is reaching the manager's business workplace in R/3 so this verifies workflow is working and the leave is being directed to proper manager for approval
    4) Proper roles have been assigned to manager and verified in PRD
*Also, the leaves were appearing in the manager's UWL at one point but no longer appearing.  This makes it more confusing!
Does anyone have any suggestions/ideas as to what may have happened?
Any feedback would be greatly appreicated!
    Regards,
    Brian

    Hi:
We transported our ESS/MSS changes from the DEV client to STG client.  I have verifiied the follwoing settings in STG:
    1) SWU3 - all connections are green.
    2) Workflow template and tasks - all are assigned as general task with agents assigned
    3) Configuration in SAP contains the correct WF template for leave processing
    4) UWL has been regenerated
I am able to submit a leave request under ESS user.  I check workflow and it shows leave has been submitted and waiting for Manager to approve step.
However, under MSS user the leave request is not showing up in the UWL.  All configuration on backend and the items noted above have been verified.
Is there configuration or a connection on the portal side that I need to check? Or anywhere else?  Any input would be greatly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Brian

  • Mass approval functionality for SRM work items

    Hi,
We want to implement mass approval functionality for SRM workflow, so that any user is able to approve/reject multiple requests at one go through UWL.
Please guide if it is possible to implement this functinality for task id TS40007952.
    Regards,
    Avantika

    Hi Avantika,
The mass approval functionality can be implemented for simple workflow items which have decisions to complete the work item. (User Decision Type)
In SAP Business Workflow, user can define a task as a decision task by assigning DECISION as the underlying business object type. The task definition allows user to create two or more decision options to complete the task.
The idea is to simply create a custom view/subview for the UWL item and configure it according to your needs.
Have a look at this blog:
Mass/Batch Processing of Work items in UWL
    and also check the documentation:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/4e/72112bc9ea484196f2a5fdc68f5f5f/frameset.htm

  • Confirmation of 2 Services for a Service PO

    Hi All,
We are using SRM 3.0, EBP 4.0 ECS.
We create a Service PO in SRM and have 2 Services (items) for the Service PO. While doing confirmation in SRM both the services are available. If we confirm one Service (item) for the full quantity and then go back to the same PO and try to confirm the other Service (item) - it states "PO 35xxxxxxxx contains no items for confirmation". i.e it does not allow us to confirm another service if any of the service (item) has been confirmed for the full quantity.
Note that there is no issue in case of a Goods PO. Also there is no problem if we confirm the full quantity for both the services at one time or have confirmed partial quantity for one service (item). Problem arises only when one service has been confirmed for the full PO quantity.
Any pointers on this will be highly appreicated.
    Thanks in advance,
    Francis

    Hi Muthu,
We have checked and found that these notes have already been implemented. But still the problem persists.
Let me know if there are any other suggestions.

  • Handle to a BPM task in UWL

    Hello UWL Experts,
This is a follow up thread to the question that I have already posted in BPM forum [Handle to a Task in BPM;. The attempt here is to check if this issue could be simply solved in the context of UWL / rather than BPM.
Here goes the actual problem description.
    1. There is a BPM process which parallely triggers the creation of a task (in UWL ) and creation + sending of a custom email form (HTML form containing the same task data) to a user at the same time.
    2. If the user approves the task from Email (instead of logging into Portal / UWL), how to automatically close the task in UWL.
On capturing this event can I use any UWL API to close the UWL task? Will a custom UWL connector help in closing this task in UWL.?
Any pointers will be highly appreciated.
    BR,
    Bala

CE 7.2 provides Adobe forms for this and that would solve the problem. Also, the close task event could be triggered in CE 7.3. But in CE 7.1, there is no solution for this.

  • OSD Task Sequence fails with "There are no task sequences available for this computer"

Let me preface this by saying that I have read at least 100 forum posts with people having similar issues. However, none of the solutions in those
    posts have worked for me.
The Problem: SCCM 2012 R2 will not image unknown computers.
The task sequence gives the error "There are no task sequences available for this computer." As soon as that error occurs, SCCM places an Unknown entry into the All Systems collection. I have been imaging unknown computers, without fail, for
4 months and no environmental changes have been made. NOTE: I am using USB media, not PXE.
    What I've Tried:
Checked for duplicate SMSBIOS GUIDS in the console, none.
Checked for duplicate MAC Addresses in the console, none.
    Checked for expired certificates, none.
    Recreated Boot Media, twice.
Deleted the Unknown entry and retried, SCCM just recreates the Unknown entry.
Deleted all of my task sequence deployments, and then redeployed them each to All Systems (Only Boot Media and PXE) and to Unknown Systems (Only Boot Media and PXE)
    I have also ran the following in the SQL Server Management Studio;
    SELECT
    * FROM
    ResPolicyMap WHERE
    machineid = 0 and
    PADBID IN
    (SELECT
    PADBID FROM PolicyAssignment
    WHERE BodyHash
    IS NULL)
    No result
    Select
    * From
    vMacAddresses Where
    MacAddresses = '00:00:00:00:00:00'
This displays an entry for every time that I have tried to image the unknown machine attached to the MAC Address with a different ItemKey and SMS_Unique_Identifier for each entry.
Added the machine manually using Import Computer Information, immediately recognized the Task Sequences that I have advertised to the All Systems collection.
    Any and all assistance is welcome, I am going on the third straight day of dead ends. Below I have tried my best to post the entire SMSTS Log;

I have configured things after all the guides and articles found here on SDN and all connection tests are fine, data is displayed in the iVews. (for Vendors). There are tasks in the MDM system. I have restarted the portal server and all services, cleared the cache etc but without any luck..
    Any ideas?
    Cheers,
    Max

  • Com.sap.pct.srm.core configuration missing in Portal for SRM

    Hi,
We have installed a new portal 7.0 ehp1.
    Installed the SRM business package.
    configured all the roles.
    Configured UWL
But in Universal workflow configuration content , com.sap.pct.srm.core is missing.
In our development system , it was already present. Not sure why in the new system it is missing.
Can we download from the development system and upload it in the new system.
    Thanks,
    Tanuj

That should have been installed when you install the corresponding BP for SRM.
To answer your question - yes you can download it from your DEV system and upload it into your QA system.
    Thanks,
    Shanti

  • How to achieve Delegation & Substitution for GP system in UWL for CE 7.1

    Hi all
Could you please guide me , how to achieve delegation & substitution concept for GP system in UWL for CE 7.1.
when i am trying to click on the Manage Delegation dropdown link which was there in top right corner of the UWL screen , then i am getting the error as " No system is activated for substitution rule " .
Could you please tell me in our scenario how to activate the System for delegation rule since we are using GP system for GP related tasks in UWL. in all the documents they have mentioned how to achieve the same in R/3 workflow tasks but we are looking for GP tasks how to activate system.
