Confirmed serial number valid but when I do set up says not valid

I managed to get a tech on chat who confirmed my serial number for CS6 Master Suite was valid but when I do set up and enter sn it says it is not valid.

You cannot use a Mac serial on Windows. Changing platform can be an expensive task. However, since CS6 is still current Adobe MIGHT convert the license for you if you contact them.

Tina Hadley did you migrate/transfer your applications over to your new Macintosh? If so this could cause problems with your serial number being recognized. Please run the available uninstallers located in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder. Once this is done you will also want to run the CC Cleaner Tool. Purchases from the App Store do not include serial numbers. The App Store itself provides the licensing for the product. You will have to contact Apple to have them help you reinstall Lightroom through the App store (just because it is no longer for sale does not mean that you will not be able to download your past purchases).

I have FCS3 installed on my computer and when I downloaded and installed the prokit update I launched final cut pro, it ask for the serial number. When I entered it it said it was invalid. I have my retail serial number so why doesnt this work. now I cant launch any of my FCS3 apps.

Updates do not require serial numbers. If you are trying to upgrade from, say, Final Cut v6 to Final Cut v7, yes, that will require your previous serial.
Pretend we are not able to see what you're doing. Explain it to us carefully.
