Confirming allowing several dialog box permanently for an plug in.

I'm using the InTranslator 4.0 plug-in.
But can't find any way to permanently confirm to Firefox to allow all the necessary dialog windows.
Now I have to manual allow them every time i run an translation whit spell check activated.
I have an print screen photo bit can't find no way to upload it to this question.

After spending three months building a twenty six page Book Project in iPhoto i added a page and later decided to delete the page. I selected the page, pressed the delete key and confirmed the delete dialog box ( i didn't read, dummy) by pressing the delete button. The whole project was gone, the undo menu was grayed out and there was nothing in the iPhoto trash about my Book.
Surly I can find this if I knew the path to find the project in a library on a back column I have of my hard drive.. Could anyone help me?

Sorry I'm having a hard time getting this.
If I go to my hard drive BIGMAC>Library>Application Support>iPhoto>the only thing in this folder is Themes.
However, when I "Get Info" it's 580MB for 24,421 items. iPhoto says I have 35,977 photos. I would think the database would be into the GB for this many photos.
If I go to BIGMAC>system>Library>I find nothing about iPhoto
Is the iPhoto file in the Application Support the one I need to replace with my backup?

File selection dialog box freezes for a few seconds

When I try to open files / select files from within certain applications (e.g. Aperture, Photomatix) the file selection dialog box freezes for a few seconds which becomes irritating because I can't scroll to the actual file that I want very easily .)
(I notice the problem generally when I am working in photo editing applications. And yes, I do have some 25MB TIFFs in the target folder...)
I suppose this is because the finder is "loading" a preview of the files.
Does this happen to everyone (if so, it would be quite a Windows-like irritation untypical of OSX).
If not, then what could be going wrong here?

I have answered my own question by a bit more research.
It seems a lot of people having this trouble for a while. It is down to Logitech software. Specifically the Logitech Control Center.

The simple solution: uninstall Logitech Control Center. The mouse still works without it.

That would be the password for your FTP server. You can only get this from your web hosting company. You should contact your web hosting company and ask them for your FTP Publishing details.
Then select your web site name at the top of the list of web pages in iWeb. You'll see input fieldd for your FTP details. Enter what you get from your web hosting provider in those fields.

What are the advantages of utilizing a dynamic VI compared to utilizing the VI Call Configuration Dialog Box Reload for each call option?

Is it more efficient to use a dynamic VI or utilize the VI Call Configuration Dialog Box which apparently can perform the same function? I realize that there are restrictions on using the VI Call Configuration Dialog Box, however, if my scenario doesn't concern the restrictions, why would I want to go thru the trouble of creating a dynamic VI when I could simply click on the VI of interest and configure from a menu? Generally, I wouldn't recommend playing with the call setup dialog at all (for those who don't know it, you can get to it by right clicking a subVI in the BD). By default, VIs are configured to load with callers and that's the correct options for almost all static VIs. The Open VI Reference primitive has multiple advantages:
It allows you to select different VIs dynamically.
It allows you to spawn multiple copies of reentrant VIs.
It allows you to perform asynch runs (although I think that this is something that should actually be available through the call setup dialog).
It allows you to open references to VIs in other application instances.
In the rare cases where you do want the same functionality that the call setup dialog gives you, it doesn't hide it.

Disable Confirmation of Deletion Dialog Box?

Hi,
I'd like to be able to disable the dialog box that pops up everytime I delete a file. I can't see any obvious way to do this - am I missing something or is there are registry hack I can make? I permamanently delete a lot of files as I review them and it slows me down considerably having to confirm each one.

Open dialog box prefs for geany and gnumeric

I did a reinstall so that /usr/ would no longer have its own partition. Rearranging the partitions was just going to take too long.
I use geany and gnumeric. File -> Open, in either program, brings up the open dialog box. It is titled Select a file for gnumeric and Open File for geany.
Since the reinstall, I have to click the pad and pencil icon in the top left every time to open up the line for manual entry of the location.
I am sure it used to remember its state before the reinstall. Does anyone know where that setting is saved or how to get that functionality back? Thanks.

I am tired of the gray dialog boxes. If possible, I would like to use a picture. I also want a different color bar on the top of the screen. I also would like a different color scroll bars. I also want different options (as in colors) for cursors. Thank you!

I have no doubt that someone with too much time on his hands has written something you could use to customize your dock, cursors, dialog boxes, menu bar, and all manner of other things. What I'm suggesting is that that's a dumb thing for him and you to waste time and energy on, and a silly and completely unnecessary risk with little or no benefit. If you have things to get done with your computer, do them, and don't get bogged down fooling with the eye candy.
And by the way, no one owes you answers to your questions. Everyone here is a volunteer.

When try to install get a dialog box asking for admin account even though current account is admin

No Dialog Box available for printing

All of a sudden my print dialog/preview box is not showing in my PS CS6. Everytime I try to print I get an error message saying: There was an error opening your printer. Printing functions will not be available until you have selected a printer and re-opened document.
I see no place to pick a printer as there is no longer a dialog box. All other programs on my network have no problem with choosing a network printer. Please help.

@jaguar1969 - I had the same problem and note that it occurred when the default Windows 7 printer was set to a printer that was actually hosted on a printserver. I changed the default printer to something other than "network connected" and the problem went away. I'm still able to print to a network printer from Photoshop, just not able to have any network printer set as default.

Delay in save and open dialog boxes waiting for Sidebar "Favorites" section

Upgraded Macbook Pro (3,1) from Snow Leopard 10.6.8 to Lion 10.7.2. Ever since upgrading, when opening or saving documents in any application, the Favorites section in the sidebar is blank for a few seconds, maybe 5-10, and then populates normally. I do have a link to a remote computer's folder in the Favorites, which could be the issue.
Is anyone else having this problem?

You're asking about Java, right? There's JFileChooser which is probably what you are asking about. Note that it is just like the VB one in that it doesn't actually open or save a file, it just allows you to choose the name of the file to be opened or saved.

Keep getting the latest Firefox (3.6.6) update installation request. Each time I follow instructions exactly but I keep getting the same Firefox dialog box asking for 3.6.6 to be installed - from scratch. 6 times already...tiring...what's happening?

It sounds like you're trying to get a floating panel dialog to dock with another one -- is that the case? If so, that's what I was trying to clarify earlier in the thread; there are tabs on modal dialogs, and there are tabbed docked panels, and they're two different things
If you're trying to dock two panels, you're on the right track -- you can definitely use sADMDialogGroup->SetTabGroup(). It does require you to know the name of the dialog group you're adding it to though. Typically, you use this functionality to restore a panel to wherever it was when Illustrator was last running, and you use preferences to store the value in the meantime. If you're just trying to stick two dialogs together, you need to make sure of a few things:
1) They're both using a dialog style from this list: kADMResizingFloatingDialogStyle, kADMFloatingDialogStyle or kADMTabbedFloatingDialogStyle.
2) They have to both have their Tab Group set to the same string value.
That should dock them together, but again, typically you just grab the tab group on shutdown and save it to preferences, then on load read it from preferences and set it on the dialog again. That way they get regrouped wherever they last were.
