Confirming names not working
Is anyone else having the issue where when they pick names to confirm or reject and than say "done", its as if nothing has happened? I have tried exiting out of iphoto and with different faces, same issue.
Same happened to me today.
In Faces section I could confirm person’s face over and over again. Simply, as soon as I left Faces section of iPhoto and came back to vew person’s photos I could see that X number of photos are pending confirmation, despite confirming them just a second ago.
It started to happen around time I started to mess up with FaceBook sharing in iPhoto (upload of photos froze, then I had to delete em from within iPhoto, but FB did not delete it, then I.... and so on and so on)
I managed to fix it by going straight into Events view (I think it could be done within Photos view also) and in Edit mode I confirmed those problematic photos and it worked.
Glad I didn’t had like thousands of 'em, just 20-ish scattered around my events.

PO Confirmation ES not working
Hi All,
We need to confirm a process order by Enterprise Service - ECC_PRODUCTIONCONFCRTRC
The platform we are using is ECC 6 EHP3 with ECC-SE Addon installed.
The problem we are facing is when we confirm PO corelating to the R3 procedure i.e. giving PO number, confirmation qauntity, plant and record type code, the ES does not confirm the PO but gives error as "Phase/operation in process order 70000722 (Or 70000723) does not exist (please check entry)"
When we enter Production Order Operation ID and Production Order SequenceID along with Production Order ID then the service throws the error as"Operation 0010 of sequence 0 cannot be confirmed" although the input data is correct.
Also it gives error when any of the date time field is entered as "XML Serialization Error. GenericObject [ GenericObject hashcode = 2098362138 type name = (http://sap.com/xi/APPL/SE/Global)DateTime Attributes : timeZoneCode = daylightSavingTimeIndicator = false Fields : ] does not have a mandatory simple content field. The field should have a specific name [#simpleContent]."
The documentation in ES Workplace does not explain in detail how to work with the ES and 'detailed field description' link also does not work. Though we found all the fields from table AFRU and AFVC still with valid input data the ES is giving same errors. In the documentation it is said this ES does not suffer from idempotency issue so no need to give UUID.
Anyone has worked with this ES?
Is there any way to debug or see the underlying code or API calls this ES makes in backend?
Is anything else is needed?

Display as Key and Name Not working properly after upgrade to Bi7.0

Recently we have upgrade our BW 3.5 system to BI 7.0 (Only system upgrade not applications ).
after the upgrade we are facing lot of issues with Bex Analyzer. The following are some of the issues
1) In BW3.5 after the execution of Workbook or query ,we can convert to local currency .
Right click on workbook -> Currency translation-> Database currency .
but after upgrade to BI7.0 this is not working ..
2) Characterstic Right click on workbook Dispaly as Key and Name is also not working ..
I know that Currency translation in BI7.0 works in different way compare to BW3.5 .we can use alternate option like By Target Currency from Database currency to convert to local currency and it is working fine in Bex,but businesss users want more friendly way ...because to select the above option they have to enter local currency and rate type ...
Do you we have any notes available for the above solutions ..?Do we need to upgrade Bex version also..?Is there any document which describe how the above things works after system upgraded to BI7.0?

'Sort by last name' not working in Address Book
In Address book, the 'sort' function (under preferences-General) does not work for half my contacts (all people rather than companies). This does not work for 'by first name', nor 'by last name'. This random list appears at the top of address book, followed by properly sorted entries.
Curiously, the most recently inputted entries do sort properly, as do all company entries.
On MobileMe, everything sorts properly
On my iPhone address book, the same problem, except the random unsorted list now appears after the properly sorted entries (under the category #)

Does that mean "most recently inputted" AFTER you upgraded to Snow Leopard?
If that is true, it would mean that something about your existing records before the upgrade, for the records that are people contacts (with first and last names) instead of business contacts, do not agree with Snow Leopard and/or Snow Leopard's version of Address Book.
This may not be feasible, but if you exported the records with this problems and then imported them, maybe they will be re-inputted so that are properly sorted.
If you use Time Machine, maybe you can use the +flying through space+ interface to restore one of the records with this problem to see if the restore process makes the record sort properly. -

DocRef.name not working in Snow Leopard
I have been using this script fot sometime to add the Image Name/number to my images, so customers can see them on the images. But today, i noticed that my numbers are not working.
all of the sudden it will take the image name and leave off the last number, so it should show the document name/number and its wrong.
like the images are named..
8290-020.jpg and it shows 8290-020.jpg
8290-021.jpg and it shows 8290-021.jpg
8290-022.jpg and it shows 8290-02.jpg
8290-023.jpg and it shows 8290-02.jpg

then next time i will run it and get different results...

[SOLVED]Xmonad bitmap workspace names not working?
I don't have a great deal of space on my screen, so I thought I'd save some by using icons instead of names for my workspaces. I have written my xmonad.hs as closely to every example I've found without redoing my entire xmonad.hs and it still puts '^p(5)^i(/home/nfarley88/.dzenicons/terminal.xbm)^p(5)' instead of the actual bitmap for the workspace title!

The conky dzen has icons working. I cannot understand why it's not working!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
PS some of the options are a bit strange (colour choices and such); I have some odd ones so I know what affects what.

Ctrl-K check names not work working
I am running an Outlook 2013 client against a Ex2010 server.
One really annoying thing, is that the Check Names (Ctrl+K) keyboard shortcut is not working. If I manually click the icon it works. Any idea of why this is not Working?Hi,

Local Admin add with GPP netbios name not working
I am trying to add domain users to be a local admin on certain machines. This however is not working with some machines critereria of the GPP.
For example: there is a GPP who adds the administrator to the local admin and deletes the ones already there. Then there follows a few other users with criteria: member of the security group laptopusers or other security groups. Also have added a user and
the criteria is netbios name of the computer. The member was immediatly added after a restart of that client.
There is also a group in AD and added members to that group that are local admin on every machine so there is no criteria. This is working fine. WHen i add all users to this group all users are local admin everywhere. Was tested.
However i have several users that do not be added to the local admin when the criteria is: netbiosname is ... Although when i give the command on the client: ipconfig /all the netbios name is exactly the same.
Looked in the winlog and it looks like a problem with the machines names or usernames. But how to solve it?
Which other cirteria i can use to add a member to local admin on a specific machine.
The GPP is beneath the computer preference and in AD beneath a computer OU.

Ok :) I know that these GPP debug logs are kind of "insufficient" in
terms of debugging ILT filtering issues, because there's absolutely
nothing about the filter evaluation in them...
In a quick test I ran right now, it worked without a problem. So it
seems you most probably will be out of luck in this forum, because it is
not a general issue.
BTW: Did you type in the name or did you select it through the object
picker button ("...")? Maybe this filter is case sensitive?

I jhave give in the name and then check name so he gets the name from AD. I have done that again to see if it works now. The strange thing is that it works well on some systems and not for some other systems...

</html>Off the top of my head, confirm is a function of the window object, so you can call it like window.confirm(......whatever....
I think it should work without explicitly referencing the window object (ie like you have done) but maybe it depends on the firefox version.
Failing that, some pop-up blockers might block confirm boxes (i know some block alert boxes, anyway) so try disabling any pop up blockers.
Thirdly, this is really (I reckon) a Javascript issue, so if you don't have any luck on this forum, you might have better luck on a javascript forum (such as sitepoint.com or webdeveloper.com). If you post the HTML output from the server to the browser, then someone there might be able to help. -
Tag Query with Special Characters in Tag Name not working

We are on SAP xMII 12.0 sp8.6, connecting to Honeywell's PHD. We are doing Tag Queries, and all is working well, except when there are special characters in the Tag Name (+, /, \) We have attempted to do the Encoding of the tag name, such as as is returned from the function xmlencodename and also tried URL Encoding.
Here is our tag which returns nothing.
82TK1INV.OCTANE_R+M/2
We have also tried these encoded versions, still to no avail:
82TK1INV.OCTANE_R%2BM%2F2
82TK1INV.OCTANER_M_2
Any help on how to return the values with special characters in the tag name would be very helpful!

Actually, there are a number of reasons:
1) It's a poor design practice to use characters like that in tag names, regardless of the underlying system. That type of information is best assigned to the tag description, not the tag name. I've even seen idiots put leading spaces on tag names...figure that one out!
2) MII uses XML extensively, and XML's syntax rules dictate what is and is not acceptable for XML element and attribute names, and many of these special characters are not permitted.
3) Usage of characters in tags that also represent mathematical operators greatly complicate the parsing and processing of expressions that involve tag names
In general, it reminds of the story of the guy who walks into the doctor, bangs his fist against a specific spot on his head, and says "Doc, it hurts when I do this", to which the doctor responds, "so don't do that".

APEX 4.0 "Use Generic Column Names" not working
Hi,
I have a report which is a SQL query (PL/SQL function body returning SQL query) in APEX 4.0. For this region i have selected the option "Use Generic Column Names (parse query at run time only)".
For some reason when I run the page the browser just shows the error "The requested URL /apex/f was not found on this server". This happens only for the region type "SQL query (PL/SQL function body returning SQL query)" . If I choose the report region as SQL query and select the option "Use Generic Column Names (parse query at run time only)" That works fine. This happens only in APEX 4. Is it an apex 4 bug or am I missing something?

Just managed to get it running. The Apex 4.0 SQL query (PL/SQL function returning SQL) works just fine. I had a small error in the query itself. In the PL/SQL function I had a referenced page item whose value in the initial run is set to null which is making the fuzz. Just adding an NVL resolved the problem. -
IOS Air (13 beta) localization of names not working
Has anyone tried to release an app with differrent names lately?
For some reasons the main app name <filename> is not used when a different localization (that is not supported by the app) is used. The localizations within the app run fine, but the file name is wrong...
This was working a couple of releases before. Has anyone seen this behavior as well and maybe found a way to get the right file name displayed on the device?

I would like to localize the name ONLY for an app I created in the xml file. For example, if I localize the name in English and Spanish, what name would appear for someone viewing the app in the AppStore in Italy? Would it default to English?
As well, from Flash Pro 6, do I need to select Spanish and English in the Languages area, even if I am only localizing the name.

Drive Map GPO and Item-Level targeting using DNS Computer Name not working as expected
I've run into a snag trying to move from logon script based drive mappings, to a GPO based Drive map solution and I'm hoping somebody can shed some light on the problem that I am seeing. We started down the GPO based drive mappings because we have
a handful of Windows 8 client computers which don't run the logon script based drive mappings.
I put together a basic Drive Maps GPO. I'm mapping 3 drives, I've linked the GPO to a computer container OU for testing and everything is working just fine. I have 3 different Windows 8 client PC, all domain joined, and all 3 run the GPO as
expected.
The problem is when I attempt to apply Item-level targeting. I've found that if I define item-level targeting to use the NetBIOS name of the computer, I can either apply the GPO at an individual computer level, or I can exclude the GPO for that individual
computer by toggling between IS and IS NOT. However, when I choose to define the computer name by choosing the DNS option, the GPO does not apply as expected.
So, if I say "the DNS computer name is example1.mydomain.com" and I apply the GPO, it applies to example1, example2 and example3. And if I instead say, "the DNS computer name is not example1.mydomain.com", then it doesn't apply
to example1, example2 or example3. Obviously, I would expect it to apply or not apply only to example1.mydomain.com.
If instead, I say "the NetBIOS computer name is example1", and apply the GPO, then example1 gets it, and example2 and example3 do not. If I say, "the netBIOS name is not example 1", then example1 does NOT get the drive mapping,
but example 2 and example3 do. < This is exactly what I want and I can continue to just use NetBIOS names...but I don't understand why DNS isn't working in the same manner.
My clients are all using DHCP and using domain controllers for DNS. All 3 machines are in the mydomain.com namespace. The mydomain.com namespace is an active directory integrated zone. We have reverse zones in place for the dns records.
I can ping the machines from the DC's as well as the machines themselves. I can run nslookup and resolve the computer name for each host using the FQDN. I can also run a ping -a IP_ADDY and get the FQDN back. The DC's themselves are
running Server 2008 R2. I honestly don't see any issues from a name resolution standpoint on the network itself.
So, any suggestions as to why defining the shortened NetBIOS name works just fine, but using DNS with a FQDN does not? (I've tried the DNS name using just the name, the name., as well as name.mydomain.com and name.mydomain.com.)And here is the result from a Windows 7 host, which is named d2-7-user1...thus it should map the T drive and in fact does;

Popup to confirm does not work
Hello.
Within a toolbar there is a toolbar button which should show a comfirm popup. This one comes up, and the cancel function does work. But if I click 'YES', the action defined on OnCLick is performed, but the page does not come back There is a BSP error, which I cannot identify.(no further text). Is this the right way for the button definition or is there another possibility to get the popup?
