Conflict Issue in Number range and need solution

Hi
I am facing a issue in SAP Number range conflict. The case is like that
There are three source system and all these 3 source system are going to be mearge in fourth common system which is already is in use.
We have fatch a conslodate list of all object in excel sheet.
OBJECT SUBOBJECT RANGE_NR YEAR LEVEL
Conflict to be solved - Either "Intervall-Diff.", or "NR Level Diff.", or "Ext/Int-Diff." or more than one of the three
Number range are conflicting based on
1. Differences between number range intervals
2. Differences between number ranges levels
3. Differences between number ranges types (internal/external)
4. Number range overlaps are marked
pls just guide me approch for resolution menthods.
Also let me know FAQ before working on object and what other things i need to check in terms of SD consultant.

Hi Dinesh,
Agree with Arden, I think there is no number range feature for product IDs. You can have your own number range object and intervals with custom solution on UI to create product IDs sequentially.
I am not sure but have a look at the TCode: COMC_MATERIALID_ALL which may be doing what you need.
You cannot change the product ID once created I think.
You can change the category assignment of the products through the report : COM_PRODUCT_RECATEGORISATION
Check enhancement spot : CRM_PRODIL_EXIT which has got some methods for CREATE and MODIFY Products.

Business Partner - Number Ranges and Groupings

Hello,
A few weeks ago, we are activated RMCA components and activated Telecommunications 6.0 in a sand box client.
Now we are doing customizing and application of BP.
We want, and we could, to range BP in number range from 1 to 9999999999, as the costumers appear in our CRM system. But the problem is that we cannot do the same with AR/SD costumers because we already have old AR/SD costumers, not the same person, in the same range and we don't have not used range.
I know that we can to convert AR/SD costumers groups, but that problem is that we need to convert costumers number.
How we can open in the same number, the BP and AR/SD costumer? Can we reorganize the old SD costumers?
We sure that we are not the first company that implement RMCA in the middle of life cycle that already have AR/SD costumers.

RM-CA: Number ranges and groupings
Choose the following in the Customizing: Cross-Application Components ® SAP Business Partner ® Business Partner ® Basic Settings ® Number Ranges and Groupings.
Define the corresponding number ranges externally in RM-CA and ensure that this RM-CA number range includes both the internal and external CRM number range.
You can choose any name for the group, but it must be the same as the name in CRM.
SD Customer Mapping
Choose the following in Customizing: Financial Accounting ® Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable ® Customer Accounts ® Master Data ®Preparations for Creating Customer Master Data ® Create Number Ranges for Customer Accounts.
If you also want to create an SD customer during business partner replication, you must create a separate number range for this customer. Assign this number range to the corresponding account group. Choose the following in Customizing: Financial Accounting ® Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable ® Customer Accounts ®Master Data ® Preparations for Creating Customer Master Data ® Assign Number Ranges to Customer Account Groups.
·SD Customer Mapping
Choose the following in Customizing: Financial Accounting ® Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable ® Customer Accounts ® Master Data ® Preparations for Creating Customer Master Data ®Define Account Groups with Screen Layout (Customers).
You must reconcile the account group settings for the business partner with the corresponding field groups for the business partner in CRM. If for example a field in RM-CA is not defined as a mandatory field in CRM, replication will fail if an entry has not been made in this field in CRM.
Use the PIDE transaction to control which CRM business partner classification is mapped to a specific account group in RM-CA.
Define the reverse situation here using the corresponding number range grouping.
· Create and assign an SD sample customer
To generate an SD customer in RM-CA during the business partner replication, you require a reference business partner. This is used as a template during creation.
Choose the following in the system: Logistics ® Sales and Distribution ® Master Data ® Business Partner ® Customer ® Create ® Sales and Distribution (Transaction VD01).
Create the sample customer using the account group described in the preceding step. The system name for the sample customer must start with the letters u201CMUSTu201D (such as MUSTER_TELCO).
You must also create the sales area data for the customer. Note that you must maintain each sales area used accordingly.
· Assign SD sample customer
Assign the sample customer in the TCRMBP_REFCUST table (transaction SM30) and define the corresponding determination. If you only want the system to determine a specific sample customer, you can leave the Business partner category, Group and Partner type fields blank.

ECM-number range and authorization contorl doubt

I have below scenario and need help on the same.
1) I need to differentiate change master and ECR with number range can this be done?
2) For Team A - need to give only ECR and change master active status control. For Team B- Only change master but in inactive status control How to achieve this?
3) I have created profiles with status profiles under enge change mang section , but how to make this field mandatory in CC31 or CC01 screen? I browsed and got info like should be activated etc...but i was not able to activate the profiles which were created in Engg. change management section.

1.If my understanding is correct then its internally in the system for the type - Change master and ECR the change number
object used is AENNR and where in you can assign a common number range group and it will be used for creating change
numbers of both these types.It's not as like the production order type where you can link a different number ange for each
order type.
2.Try whether this option will work out for meeting your requirement.In the standard SAP 2 set of number range (one
internal numbe range and one for external will be assigned) exists.so aaume for CC01 you can make use of the internal
number range,where during CC01 without any value for the field change number you can proceed.When creating through
CC31 you can make use of external number range by giving the change number as the input and you save the data.
check and revert back.

There is no link between the Accounting document and the Billing document
Billing documents number range were maintained in VN01 and the Accounting document number range were maintained i n FBN1 for each financial year against the company code
If you want the same Number to be generated for both , then
Use T. code VOFA and check billing document type and itu2019s assignment for Accounting document type for example for billing document type accounting document type is RV and check the number range for billing document type through T. code VN01 and then use T. code OBA7 to see number range object for accounting document and then finally use T. code FBN1 and maintain same number range as per billing document type and mark as external number range then system will generate same accounting document number against billing document after releasing the billing document to accounting

Issue on Number Range for MRP Purchase Requisition

Hi Gurus,
Please help me on the issue explained below.
We are already using SAP ECC 6.0 and SRM 5.0 and now we are implementing Plant Maintenance Module.As a result of this implementation ,we have created number of PR document types and assigned to unique number ranges in ECC. One of these document types has been maintained for MRP group for a material type in order to identify the MRP purchase requisitions created on the shortage of the materials for these material types.
This functionality is working fine. MRP run for the materials is picking the appropriate PR document but number range of the document is not the same what was assigned to the linked document type.Some other number series is getting picked by system .
There is setting under SPRO Consumption Based PlanningNumber RangesPurchase Requisitions
Here, number range assignment is against plant. This is the same number range which is being taken by system on running MRP. But the desired number range is the one which has been linked to PR document type.
If I change the number range above then number range for MRP PR in present system will get affected..
Can you please advise me on above so that PR generated on MRP run should have appropriate number range?

Hi,
As per my understanding, what you have mentioned above is exactly the way SAP is designed. Its SAP Standard behaviour.
But if you check your PR document type - no:range & the CBP no:range both will be same only since both refers to the same object.
Please check the PR document type that you have assigned in the CBP & its no:ranges.

Also, how will we trasport split valuation and release procedure?

Number ranges you have to create directly as it is not transportable.
For release Strategy details, all your Release config details are transported Except for the below details
1. Characteristics & values assigned to it ( master data)
2. Class & assigned characteristics to it (master data)
3. Values/ranges inside the Release strategies ( classification details).
These three details are to be recreated/assigned in the client you intend to work upon.

If you want to know more about issues related to your own internal servers, I'd simply start by reviewing the event logs and running perfmon in the short term to look for issues. For more long term management and monitoring I'd look to a tool
like System Center Operations Manager:

7.1 issues on iPhone 5 and my solution

I'm just sharing my personal experience here with iOS 7.1 and the solution to my problem.
Problems occurring while plugged in:
My phone would behave erratically. I messaging issues, apps would open and close on their own, buttons would not respond, and the battery would not charge passed a certain point.
I was using an apple charger and apple lightening cable. Apple's suggestion was to backup and restore my phone;this did not work. I noticed that the phone would be perfectly fine off the charger. I ended up trying a different 120v plug from apple and the phone started working just fine. Weird...I haven't had a problem since. I just wanted to share this because it might help some of you. Now, no problems with my wife nagging me.
I am assuming the one I was using wasn't the original, but who knows.

In my system there are 2 groups with the same number range.
how is this possible?

Issues creating number range interval with BI transports?

We got BI 7.0 systems in our landscape.
In developement system,our BI developer created transport with 4 infocubes.
Now, when i tried to import the transport into QA system,it is failing with the following error:

Dimension ZHR_C15P :Error when creating interval for number range object BID0001388

Still: Macbook Air 2013 Wifi Issues On Wake-Up (And Partial Solution)

I just got my new MBA 13" Mid 2013 last week (updated to Mavericks), and have been having issues with the wifi for a couple days now. Specifically, when I wake my MBA in the morning, it will have disconnected from my home wifi and will not reconnect again. It can see the wifi (and it did ask the WPA2 password after I deleted the network in preferences), but it will not connect due to a "Connection timeout".
I didn't have these issues with my old MBP 13' Early 2011 (also running Mavericks). Also, this only started after I had fully set up my MBA and replaced my MBP, that is, connected it to the external display, hard drive, etc.
Now, it turns out what I have to do is disconnect my external hard drive and reconnect to the network. What kind of architecture makes something like this even possible? And it's not just me, https://discussions.apple.com/message/23423481#23423481 had the same problem: needing to remove a USB device in order to be able to reconnect to his wifi.
This reminds me that with my old MBP, I had an issue where copying large data volumes to external drives via USB would render the wifi connection unusable. So apparently there is something about Macbook architecture that links USB and wifi.
But why does this only occur after a full night of the MBA sleeping? I guess it would have to drop the wifi for energy saving, which it doesn't do right away whenever it goes to sleep?
In any way, this is extremely frustrating. What is the deal with USB and wifi in Macbooks? I really hope Apple can fix this via a software solution, but to be honest, I don't trust them to anymore. I guess for them this is "working as intended".

It turns out the MBA doesn't even have to go to sleep for this to happen.
Today i received a new HDD for my time machine backups, so some data transfer was necessary. I made a 600GB backup from my Mac and an external hdd I use for media files, then i started copying another 500 Gb from one external drive to another (USB to USB).
Now in the middle of this transfer (which is rather slow to begin with at around 46 MB/s) my wifi connection just went out. My iPhone, iPad and Windows PC can still connect to my router, but the Mac tells me to "move closer" to it.
It's interesting that my Mac can no longer see any other wifis besides my own, so I guess it's wifi range is somehow impeded by these USB transfers? How does that even work?
At around 50% the data transfer had come to a complete halt, so I interrupted the process. Two seconds after I had ejected AND unplugged both external drives, the MBA could "see again". All visible wifis were listed again and I could connect without problem.
Is there anyone with a similar experience? Is this a hardware defect or an architectural problem? Why have I had these USB/wifi-issues on two Macbook models spaced lmost three years apart?
