Confused! What is the latest QuickTime? Is it 7 Pro, or QuickTime 10.1??

I have QT 10.1, which can do EVERYTHING QuickTime Pro 7 does, but Apple is telling me that 7 is the latest? Please advise. Thanks!

QuickTime 7 is the latest version of the old generation of QuickTime.
QuickTime 10.1 is the latest version of the new generation of QuickTime.
QuickTime 10.1 cannot yet do everything that QuickTime 7 could do. That's why Apple keeps offering QuickTime 7, until it has added enough features to QuickTime 10.

According to the Swedish and British Sony website, the latest version for the Xperia Tablet Z is 10.1.1.A.1.253 released on 17th of May.
But this is the latest version for the Xperia Z (phone) not the tablet Z... Or am I wrong?
It's a bit confusing, when the manufacturer cannot keep track of the phone and tablet...

Depends on if you have the WiF version or the LTE version. For LTE the latest is 10.1.1.A.1.253 and for WiFi it's 10.1.C.0.344.

What is the latest version of XCode I can run?

Hi all,
first off I apologize if this is the wrong section, I am new here. I just got a mac running OSX v10.6.2 and I was wondering what is the latest version of xCode I can run with 10.6.2? I looked on Wikipedia and I was a bit confused. It says versions 3.2,4.0,4.1 and 4.2 Of these, are they all free? I have not paid the $99 but I signed up as a developer. My guess is 4.2 will work but will I have to pay for it? I use xCode at school all the time and need it at home just to work on apps as I cannot be in the school lab all day. Appreciate any help, thanks.

Xcode 4.2 is the latest version that runs on Snow Leopard, but you have to be a member of one of Apple's paid developer programs to download it.
Xcode 3.2.6 is the latest free version that runs on Snow Leopard. You may have to upgrade your OS to 10.6.8 to install Xcode 3.2.6. Xcode 3.2 is also on your Snow Leopard install disc, but you will have to download Xcode if you want to do iOS development.

I want to use an iMac for my seminar. My projector only accepts VGA connections. I currently use my MacBook Pro using a cable that has DVI Male on one end and VGA Male on the other. I can't get a Mini-Display to VGA adapter.
What is the latest, older iMac that I can buy that has a DVI-D output? All the new models at the Apple Store have Mini-Display ports only.

The Early 2008 iMacs were the last models with DVI output. They have a mini-DVI port.
However, Apple sells mini-DisplayPort to VGA adapters, as do 3rd party developers.
