I keep getting these messages (one per day) since I've setup my Storm for IMAP. Several other BB users in my area seem to have the same issue. We all are on Bell.
Interesting point: it only seems to happen after you register the BB for a second time. My Storm was broken so I was using a 8830 for about two weeks, no issues. Got my Stoem back and had to setup the email accounts again. Then this issue of recurring messages popped up.
Anyone having the same isssue? Or better yet resolved it?

I installed Firefox4 and immediately had a problem with the addons manager page not displaying properly ( all the right hand side of the page was missing). When I click on Firefox Icon to open browser a window opens that says..Firefox has had a problem and has crashed.It says a report will be sent to Mozilla and problem will be fixed when Firefox is closed,(It never opened),I click on close Firefox and it says a report is being sent.Then a few seconds later it says...Report successfully sent and closes.It also asked if I want Mozilla to contact me about this report,I checked yes and have recieved nothing.I WANT MY FIREFOX..This has been going on for since Nov.30th.
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

My daughter has been in peru for 5 weeks and has her phone on airplane mode and wi-fi and has successfully texted and facetimed when having wi-fi. Now it is no longer working? Any ideas?
Basic Troubleshooting Steps when all else fails
Quit the App by opening multi-tasking bar, holding down the icon for the App for about 3-5 seconds, and then tap the red circle with the white minus sign.
Relaunch the App and try again.
Restart the device. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
Reset the device. (Same article as above.)
Restore from backup. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766 (If you don't have a backup, make one now, then skip to the next step.)
Restore as new device. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137 For this step, do not re-download ANYTHING, and do not sign into your Apple ID.
Test the issue after each step. If the last one does not resolve the issue, it is likely a hardware problem. -
My boyfriend upgraded to an iPhone 5 recently and decided to give me his old iPhone 4, but i'm on Vodafone and his iPhone is locked to Orange.
So he rang up Orange to request an unlock which cost £20 and the guy said it could take upto 28days (which seems a long time to unlock a phone) The guy at Orange said the reason for this is that the unlock has to be done by Apple (which makes sense) and so my iphone would go on a list and once it reaches the top of that list it will be done - (is this true?)
It's been 3 weeks and my boyfriend still hasn't recieved an email to say the unlock has been successful.
I'm starting to get impatient as I didn't think it would actually take the full 4 weeks to process(i know it hasn't been 28 days yet...) - but it's looking like it will take that long at this rate... if it gets unlocked at all!
I would also like to know if my iPhone 4 has been jailbroken in the past - will this prevent the phone being unlocked by apple?
Any help or advice would be greatSorry, but there is nothing constructive or helpful anyone here can offer. Apple does not take 28 days to process a request once the authorization is received from the carrier - and Apple cannot help. This is completely to up the carrier, so your boyfriend will have to keep bugging Orange until they process the unlock. Orange can indeed take 30 days or even longer to finally process an unlock request.
And yes, if the iPhone has been jailbroken, it quite possibly cannot ever be officially unlocked. You'll just have to try it, once Orange finally processes the unlock, and hope.

I am, however, asking only for future reverence, as the initial sync which generated the error dialog was done via USB, and almost immediately after the USB sync, I ran a WiFi Sync—two in a row in fact—both initiated from the iPhone. Both WiFi syncs completed successfully with no error dialog.
I then ran another USB sync initiated from iTunes on the Macintosh, as was the first sync which gave the error. This second USB sync also completed successfully with no errors.
I think someone in this thread mentioned non-AppleStore products or DMR issues which I think could not have been an issue in my case, as I was running the sync to install updated Apps from the AppStore, and additionally had deleted some music and movie items to make sure there was room for the App updates. Nothing was added other than the recently downloaded App updates from the AppStore.

I am trying to verify my email contact address with Apple. In the confirmation email I received, the link to verify is not active. This has been going on for over 2 weeks. They keep sending emails where I can't click on "VERIFY Now".
In case anyone else has this problem, it turns out that my email provider's software was stripping the link out before it got to my mailbox.

With my new iPhone 6 Plus. Connectinge 6 Plus. Connecting Bluetooth to my Prius bluetooth has been successful. However, I am unable to answer or place calls via the bluetooth connection even though the connection has been established. It worked well with my previous iPhone 4S. Can anyone help with this?

Reinstalling OS X Without Erasing the Drive
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Reinstalling OS X Without Erasing the Drive
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility and press the Continue button. After Disk Utility loads select the Macintosh HD entry from the the left side list. Click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If Disk Utility reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit Disk Utility and return to the main menu.
Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

My iPod touch wont let me buy anything, i've beem using this account for a couple of years and now it says that this is the first ime this id has been used on my device... it's not.... and to sign in and answer security questions. i cant remember the answers to the questions. How can i fix this without making a new account and losing all my stuff???

After installing the safari update for windows, outlook is now not opening email hyperlinks. I have set safari to be my default browser but outlook won't open it when I click a link. Hi mcclausky, you may need to manually remove a policy setting from the registry. You also should scan for malware that might have created this problem.

My Iphone has a problem with the microphone it doesn't seem to work! so there for i can't use Siri anymore.. this has been playing up for some time now. It will not connect but my other apple devices can connect and the wifi works very well. I have moved houses to my house wifi isnt the same as the old one. Also, i have to type in the password every time even if i click autosave. Sometimes it also says invalid password or connection timeout. This has been going on for two months and is getting really annoying. I've tried most of the solutions listed on other discussions, none of them work. Any other tips? Thank you. I ordered a new phone and shipped it to a friend in Dubai, UAE. without knowing i have to activate it by making 5minutes calls, please i need a way to activate it without sending it back to the US..any help? this has been very frustrating for me this past few days

What's going on with iCloud (MobileMe)? I'm able to sign in here, but I can't access mail on my Macbook Pro, iPhone, or work computer. I always get an authorization error (user-id or passwork wrong). This has been going on for almost a week now.
The single download means that you won't be able to redownload it from the store without paying, either on a computer's iTunes or an iOS device - it doesn't stop you from copying the audiobook to your other computers or syncing it to your iOS devices, you just can't redownload it. (I believe that they are all supplied to Apple by audible.com, so I assume that it's them requiring the one-time download.)
You can download audiobooks on your computer's iTunes and sync them to iOS devices, you do not have to buy them directly on the device (if you do then you can copy them back to your computer's iTunes library by connecting the device and using the File > Devices > Transfer Purchases menu option on your computer's iTunes).
What you are doing to sync them should work i.e.
- connecting the iPad to your Mac
- selecting the iPad on your Mac's iTunes
- selecting its Books tab and selecting the audiobooks that you want to sync to the iPad and syncing/applying that selection.
You should then get an audiobooks option in the Music app on your iPad. If they aren't appearing there then do they show in Settings > General > Usage > Music on the device - if you have audiobooks on the iPad then they should be listed there under an 'audiobooks' heading.
By 'restart the iPad' do you mean a soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
You could also try closing its Music app via the iPad's taskbar : Force an app to close in iOS.
And do a soft-reset and retry syncing.
I assume that music and other items sync ok ?
