Conky update_interval_on_battery problem, wrong BATx selected

I am having a small problem with conky configuration, with a update interval on battery function to be specific. When I insert it into conky config file, I get an error saying that BAT0 does not exist and therefore cannot be opened or found. This is true, as on my machine a battery is BAT1 as I have found out.
With functions for a battery bar or battery status user can set which battery should conky look for, but with the function mentioned above it is impossible (at least nothing is mentioned in manual). Can you help me with my problem?

I know this Thread is plain old, but since nobody was able to find the solution, i just have to post that here.
The files core.c and conky.c have BAT0 hardcoded, so all you have to do is changing that to BAT1 (or BAT2 or whatever your battery is named).
Just add the following lines in the build() Section of the PKGBUILD to fix the issue:
sed -i 's/BAT0/BAT1/' src/core.c
sed -i 's/BAT0/BAT1/' src/conky.c
Oh and conky needs up to ~20 seconds to recognize the power change (and therefore change the update interval)

Motion 4.0.3 - export problem - wrong compressor selected

Greetings all,
Have just run into a puzzling glitch when trying to export a movie direct from Motion.
When I click the Options button in the Export dialogue box, the compressor that is set in the Compressor dropdown of the Video section (under the Video/Audio tab) does not match the preset I selected in the Export box.
If I select the correct compressor in the dropdown, then click OK, the Export dialogue box now tells me I'm using a different compressor. If I then click Options again, the correct compressor is shown in the dropdown, but if I click Advanced, The compression type is now wrong! If I set the correct compression type in the Advanced (compression settings) box, then click OK, the Compressor reverts to the incorrect one again!
I appreciate this might sound very confusing, so I'll spell out some specific examples:
Compressor selected in the Compressor dropdown of the Video section under the Video/Audio tab: Video
Compression Type being used under Advanced (compression settings): Apple ProRes 4444
Compressor selected: Apple ProRes 4444
Compression Type used: Apple ProRes 422 (HQ)
Compressor selected: Sorenson Video
Compression Type used: H.264
Compressor selected: H.264
Compression Type used: DVCPro HD 720p50
You get the picture. So, the Export Preset always matches the Compression Type used under Advanced but not the Compressor selected in Options.
This glitch has only just appeared in my setup, and I can't think of any obvious cause. I've tried trashing Prefs but no joy.

Probably best if I explain further with a couple of screen shots (I've blurred the background to highlight the issues).
In the first shot below, you can see that the selected preset in the Export dialogue box is Apple ProRes 4444 Movie, and it lists this as the compressor in the text details just below. However when Options is clicked, it lists the compressor as 'Video'. Upon clicking Advanced, the Compression type is shown as correct, Apple ProRes 4444.
If I export the file under these conditions I do indeed get a ProRes 4444 file.
In the second shot, I have changed the Compressor in Export Options from Video to ProRes 4444 and you can see that the Compression type under Advanced has changed to ProRes 422 (HQ).
Upon hitting OK, you can see in the Export box that the selected preset now shows as 'customised' and the compressor listed underneath is ProRes 422 (HQ).
If I export the file under these conditions I get a ProRes 422 (HQ) file.

Problem while using select single

I am using a select single command, My code is
Select single * from zbe_gpfd_comment into wa_gpfd_comment where program_name = program
and box_type = box_type
and box_name = box_name.
even though the required data is in the database still nothing is retrived in wa_gpfd_comment.No problem with datatype, I have checked them all..but still I am not able to get where the problem is?
PS : program_name,box_type,box_name are primary key of the table zbe_gpfd_comment.

Did u checked what values are u passing in where condition for program , box_type , box_name .
are there any values in the above the fields ,
or just try to check once by hardcoding the values of the above 3 like
Select single * from zbe_gpfd_comment into wa_gpfd_comment where program_name = 'ZABC'
and box_type = 'CUBE'
and box_name = 'NOKIA'.
give the 3 values which are existing in your zbe_gpfd_comment table .
if it works then nothing wrong with select query ,
and check the values in debugging whether the values are coming in : program , box_type , box_name .
I guess in ur query all the values are null or space , so it is not retriving values.
check subrc also for the query.

Problem in multiple selections in a jList

I have two jLists. Now I have to select some items from one jlist and have to transfer in the other one. But while trying to do it in the runtime I am getting some unexpected runtime errors including "Exception occurred during event dispatching". When I try to transfer only one item it works fine but shows problem in multiple selections. Pleast give your suggestions.

Problem in AT selection screen validation

I am having problem in AT SELECTION SCREEN Validation.
I have 2 radiobutton and 6 parameter. if i click first radio button all the 6 radiobutton should enable and take the user input, that is working fine for me.
if i click second radiobutton , out of 6 , 3 parameter should disable and remaining 3 should enable. thats also working fine.
My problem is program has written the validation for this 3 parameter in the AT SELECTION SCREEN.
For first radioutton all the validation working fine, for second validation as soon as i press the radiobutton it will display error message. Based on 2 parameter user is filling value for 3 rd parameter.
I want the same validation to be done for second radio button after user pressing enter.

Problem in standard select query in fagll03

Good Morning frndz,
I m facing a problem while runnin fagll03. when executed it gives timeout error.
When I debug it , it gets stuck in a select query
SELECT SINGLE * FROM t800m INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF ls_b
WHERE totable = ls_t800a-ntable
AND fromtable = 'ACCIT_GLX'
AND tofield = id_glflex_fieldname
AND seqnr = space.
The content in variable ls_t800a-ntable was FAGLFLEXA and in id_glflex_fieldname was USNAM.
When I cheked in table t800m, the entry could not be found. But in the report instead of setting
sy-subrc = 0 , it is stuck in the select query itself....kindly suggest y it is happening so

Problem in displaying selected page items in the title in Graph

Hi There;
I have a problem in displaying selected value of named page item in the graphs.
Eg. I have in my worksheet a page item named "Location"; when I use "&WorksheetName &Location" in the title of worksheet it is displaying both the worksheet title and value of selected page item "Location" in my example.
But when I use the same (&WorksheetName &Location) in the title of graph or Axis of the graph, it would show up only the name of the worksheet but not the value of page item "Location", instead it would print "&Location"
Any idea why it is not able to reference the select page item in Discoverer graph? I am using Oracle BI Discoverer 10.1.2.1.

Thanks a lot. It might not have been considered necessary but you do require, e.g in my case I am plotting Average value of a Parameter and it does make sense in including the name/value of Parameter(surface water temp/bottom watter temp) as an Axis instead of just a constant Parameter or say Average Parameter. So that user can plot the variation of different parameters by changing the page items and when user changes the value of parameter and export the graph he/she has the parameter name(actual value) in the graph.
But I can include all the parameters (&Parameters) or all the page items(using &PageItems) in graph then why not individual page-item and individual parameter.
I would log a SR and see what they say.

You have to give the selection screen values when you submit a job.
Press F1 on submit and you will see more details.

Big problem with a select using remote database

Hi Guy.
I have a big problem with a simple query, but this is a scenario.
Actuallly I'm in Alexandria - Egypt with a server with Oracle 10.2.0.4 database 32 bit on linux Red Hat as 4.8. the server can connect to another database oracle but 9.2.0.6 installed on Red Hat As 4.5 placed in Milano Italy . Ttwo networks are connected via two adsl cisco router with firewall and Vpn functions. In Egypt there isn't a very good adsl.
In Alexandria, I'm trying to connect to database in Italy with sqlplus. The sqlplus connected I write.. select * from addetti and all work fine.
My problem is that when I try to make the same select on a table with many columns oracle database kill me a session.
My table (ic_lav) is long 174 colums 1924 byte for row. Well when I write a query with select * from ic_lav all oracle close my session.
So I began to change my query I start to
select field1 from ic_lav... and work
select field1,field2,field3,..........field50 from ic_lav and work
select field1,field2,field3,..........field70 from ic_lav and doesn't work
the select work with 68 columns
problem: the query with more then 1064 byte for row doesn't work.
I've tryed with anoter big table with the same problem, but the select fwork with 65 columns...
Iit is obvious that there is any problem with the limit of the query.
The same query (select * from ic_lav) in localMilano)l work fine.
The same query (select * from ic_lav) in vpn with a better adsl line and openvpn software (NO CISCO firewall) WORK FINE.
The same query connectetd in Milano with a vpn make with analogic modem and remote access by windows work fine.
the query (make on my laptop connectet with vpn by cisco doesn't work.
In cisco firewall we haven't any error (cisco man tell me so)
on database 9 I found :

If the query length is a problem, you could create a view and query the view instead to see if this problem is resolved.

T430s, device without driver, wrong driver selection or other problem

Hi all,
I've got the problem that under device manager there's a device without driver and is thus shown with a yellow exclamation mark.
Vendor ID is 1180, device ID is E822, so it seems to be the
Ricoh PCIe SD/MMC Host Controller.
But if I download the "Media Card Reader Driver for Windows 7" from the Lenovo website and install it, the device still doesn't have a driver. The smartcard reader driver also doesn't help. An automatic search of Windows doesn't find a driver.
My system is: Lenovo notebook T430s, Windows 7 (64bit), model number 2356GDG.
Can anyone post a screenshot of the device manager with all devices listed, so that I can verify that this is the missing device?
Any suggestions?

Was this the driver you downloaded? Media Card Reader Driver for Windows 7
It was updated August 13th so it's really new. I would also run TVT System Update as well.

TVT System Update should automatically update both of these for you but you can also just update them specifically by visiting those links.

Wrong path selection

Hi all,
In my BMM I have different fact tables that share the same dimensions. For example:
DimA and DimB are connected to 2 fact tables:
DimA ---(FactA
DimB ---(FactA
DimC ---(FactA
DimA ---(FactB
DimB ---(FactB
So I put in the PL these dimension in 2 different subject area, SA_A for the FactA and SA_B for FactB.
In the SA_A I put in the query some fields from DimA and DimB, but if I don't select also any field from the DimC, I got a wrong result in BI Answer because it uses the FactB to make join, but if I use also some fields of DimC in the query then I got the correct result.
It could be useful to tell you that I didn't use any mapping between dimension and logical level in the Content Tab of the LTS of each dimension and fact, beacuse I don't know how it could fix my problem.
Please give me some tips to solve this issue!

Hi Nazza,
I think you have to specify the content level in the content level tab in a LTS. For each dimension A, B and C, you should specify the dimensional level at which your LTS is. So for instance, if DimA is time dimension and LTS contains data at month level of dimA, specify month against DimA in content level tab of your LTS.

Problem with checkbox selection in Tableview

Hi All
I am using table view with 8 columns - in the last 4 columns i have checkboxes for user input - i have a strange problem - when the table has multiple entries - for the last column i can only select the checkbox on line 1 - and i cannot select the checkbox on the remaining entries below - but for the other colums with checkboxes this is not the case
The selection mode for the table is no line selection - since the table is already displayed with input enabled fields - this is to reduce the no of clicks for user
Can anyone point out what is going wrong - how can i fix this - what i am doing wrong ?
