Connect MiniMac to Pioneer Plastma

I have a 43" Pioneer Plastma with a PDP-R05E media receiver.
How is the best way to connect my brand new Mini Mac to the Media receiver?
I´m a new Mac user, so I hope I can can get some information here.

I figured out how to do it.
I started up the Mini with only the Pioneer connected. Then I used my Macbook and the ChickenVNC program to take control over my new Mini Mac (The only thing you need then is the IP and the password of the Mini. You find the IP and set a password in the "Sharing" program).
Then I changed the display resolutions to 1080i, and "voilá" the screen pops up on my Pioneer.
Have now tried to restart my Mini it works perfect with my Pioneer.
After a while my wife was complaining because the text on the screen was just to small and hard to read, so then i set the resolution to 720p and now she is happy too
Thanks to those who helped me

  • Connection errors with Pioneer AVH P3100DVD Car Stereo after iOS4.1 Update

    I just upgraded to iOS 4.1 and now my Pioneer AVH P3100DVD car stereo has a "skipping" problem like a record or CD with a scratch in it when connected to my iPhone 4.
    I've tried disconnecting the USB cable, restarting both my iPhone 4 as well as my car stereo - nothing seems to work. Think of it as watching a streaming video having buffering issues, you hear about a half second of audio, then it drops out, then another half second of audio, drop out, etc.
    Plugged in my Classic iPod which still works fine so I know it's not the stereo unit or the cable connection. Has to be something caused by the new software upgrade?
    Worked flawlessly with my iPhone 4 up until installing the upgrade yesterday and now haven't been able to find a remedy to the problem. It's as if the stereo keeps dropping the connection every half second.
    Anyone out there with the same problem and found a remedy?

    LOL...I am happy that I am not the only person to have this problem.
    Here is my thread.
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2574519&tstart=0
    I too have the same problem with the same Stereo. Except...I have had this problem once before on iOS 4.0.1 When I received my phone new from the factory, it had 4.0.1 on it. It had this problem with my 3100DVD radio too. However when I did a restore on my phone, it fixed it up to a point. I could listen to Pandora without any skips. My ipod would only work without skips if I setup the radio to give the IPOD controls.
    Ever since I "Upgraded" to 4.1 it skips on my stereo no matter what I do. I haven't had a chance to do a restore yet. When I do one, I hope that it will work again.

  • How to connect iphone to Pioneer receiver

    Tryng to connect my iphone to watch videos on our Pioneer Receiver.  Can get sound but no picture using the HDMI cable.  Receiver is a VSX-23TXH and says it is iphone compatible.

    Hi Jgunnoe4333,
    First you'll need to restore network defaults on your printer. From the printer front panel:
    1. Press the Wireless button.
    2. Choose the option for Wireless Settings.
    3. Choose the option for Restore Network Defaults.
    4. Choose Yes.
    The wireless light should start blinking again.
    Secondly, from your PC:
    1. Make sure your computer is connected to the new network, and if wireless, make sure the network connection is saved and connects automatically.
    2. Click Start>All Programs>HP>Deskjet3050>Printer Setup & Software.
    3. Select the Connect a New Printer Option.
    4. Select Network/Wireless install.
    If I have helped in any way, just click the Kudos star on the left. Also, if your issue has been resolved, don't forget to select Accept as Solution

    Icon to connect to AV unit has disappeared - now won't connect itunes to my home theatre system.

    Please keep the latest drivers for the network adapter, you can browser the manufacture website for the latest driver.
    If you've already have the latest drivers, I suggest you remove all existing network profile including the issued one, then recreate the network connection, check this issue again.

  • 6300 connection to my pioneer car stereo

    My 6300 connects to my BT stereo but I cant transfer my phonebook from the phone, its says this is because the radio is considered to be a headset according to the phone, can this be altered? thanks.

    Unless the BT stereo have a profile that supports phone book, I don't think it's possible. Some BT devices is FW upgradable ask your dealer if it is.
    Knowledge not shared is knowledge wasted!
    If you find it helpfull, it's not hard to click the STAR..

  • Can I connect a Pioneer se-m390 to iPod shuffle 4?

    I own iPad 2 and I connected my headphones Pioneer se-m390 to this device and I can listen to music with a very strong audio volume.
    My question is: can I connect a Pioneer se-m390 to iPod shuffle 4?
    In other words: Audio hardware is similar to iPad 2 and iPod shuffle 4? Or: I'll hear the sound strong with iPod shuffle 4?

    A friend of mine gave her niece her iPhone 4 to use as an iPod after she upgraded to a different device...it works fine and it does not have to have the sim card to access iTunes...since iTunes access can only happen over WiFi just as it would on an iPod Touch. I don't know anyone to date that has an iPhone 4 on VZW that isn't actually using it activated but it's safe to assume that the same would be true with it...especially considering that the iPhone 4 on VZW does not have a sim card like the 4s does.

  • Airplay does not connect with pioneer vsx-1121 anymore

    After latest iTunes update airplay function does not connect with my pioneer vsx 1121 receiver anymore. I can see the reciver in the list when I click the airplay button but it does not connect and music keeps playing trough the laptop speakers. I am running win 7 and everything worked fine before the latest iTunes update.
    Any ideas what is preventing the proper connection?

    I am having the same problem.  From my Ipad the pioneer vsx-1021K is visible.  It connects, sound begins then stops after 2-3 seconds.  This began in the last month.  Infuriating.   I can stream from my android to the device using double twist.  I can stream to other devices like apple tv and Android apps like "hifispeaker" (a Airplay receiver for android).
    What changed?  It seems like there is something in the most recent Ipad updates?  Some interfering application?
    the Ipad is using IOS 6.1.3

  • Connection mba to av receiver pioneer VSX-322

    Hi,
    I'm trying to connect my mac book air (late 2011) to my av receiver pioneer VSX-322 trough a LMP "minidisplayport to hdmi converter" and hdmi cord
    My av receiver will be later connected to a projector with hdmi connection. (my actual one has only a VGA connection and cannot be connected to the pioneer receiver
    I want to transfer the image and audio signal from the MBA to av receiver (with sound played on the connected speakers) and the image from there to a hdmi connected projector
    But the sound keep to be played on my mac book air...
    Could somebody help me?
    Thanks a lot

    Ok,
    I get the answer
    (hummm...)
    I only had to go into "preferences" -> "sound" -> "out" and choose hdmi instead of the mba speakers....
    that was it!

  • IPhone 3G ver 3.1 - spotlight doesn't work with accessory connected anymore

    Hello,
    I've been using iPhone 3G for quite a long time now and everything was fine until a recent update to OS ver. 3.1... I've noticed, that spotlight doesn't work now as it worked before... The thing is that I'm using iPhone as a phone and a source of music in my car. I connect it to Pioneer car audio system via USB. Before 3.1 update I was able to search for a song in spotlight and when I tapped it - it just played via car speakers. Now it doesn't do anything. I keep tapping, but nothing happens. The only way to play a song - disconnect iPhone from Pioneer, find song in spotlight, tap on a song to launch it and connect iPhone to Pioneer while the song is playing.
    Well, I have a workaround, but it requires both of my hands... But it's kind of unsafe to do so while driving... Could someone confirm spotlight working while connected to any accessory?.. Maybe I'm the only one having this issue and iPhone restore would help?.. I just don't want to restore without any reason...
    Thanks in advance for your answer.

    Hi to the forum. This is my first post - ever!
    It's taken me 25 years of Apple equipment purchase and enthusiastic advocation to get to this point.
    And what has got me here? 'The GPS on my iPhone 3G has doesn't work'. If you Google this statement you get 12 million hits. It seems to me that's probably 12 million people who have a problem with an Apple product they've purchased.
    I've read a lot of the solutions that other users have come up with - dozens of different ones. I've updated the iPhone software as soon as I can, I've been patient, I've given Apple chance to sort it out. I've even gone back to printing out Google maps onto paper (remember 'paper') and taken those out with me in the car to find my way around town.
    However - the southern hemisphere summer is coming and I want to use the (totally brilliant) Navionics chart/GPS App on the boat. No chance. According to the iPhone we're in Africa not New Zealand.
    So what to do? I can't find any 'official' info from Apple. I've no idea how the politics of these situations work - and I don't care! 12 million hits can't be wrong. Apple needs to tell it's users what is happening (even if they're still working on it), and when we can expect a fix.
    Come on Apple, keep us in the loop - we love your products - and we want to keep advocating for you!
    PS - this is the best place I could find to have ths little discusion - if anyone has a more direct line to God (err I mean Apple) please let me know!

  • Galaxy S5 Bluetooth pairs but will not connect to Windows 7 or 8.1

    Hello I have a Galaxy S5 SM-G900V.  I have had this for about 2 months now.  I can get it to connect to my Pioneer stereo in my truck without an issue.  I cannot however get it to connect to my desktop or laptop running Windows 7 and 8.1 respectively.  I have made sure all drivers on the Windows machines are up to date and current.  The problem is that my phone and computers will PAIR without a problem however after about 5 seconds the device disconnects.  I have searched Windows, and countless GOOGLE forums without success.  Today I went to the Verizon store in Arvada Colorado and had the standard long wait.  When I finally did get help the representative said that since it connects to my truck it must be a problem with Windows and that he nor Verizon could help me.  Seriously?  Without even touching my phone to see if my configurations were correct?
    Back to the issue, does anyone know what the problem could be from incompatibility with Windows, drivers or the phone itself?  Any help would be appreciated.

    win7 x64 here and it worked fine so there must be some other problem here.

  • Internal Pioneer DVD drive to an external drive

    Hi there
    I recently bought a S-ATA & IDE USB 2.0 Adaptor to rectify my Firewire connection going down , recently. I can now connect my old external Firewire hard drives via USB 2.0. Great!!
    However I realised that this adaptor also allows me to power up and connect my old Pioneer DVR 110D, but, I can not get my mac to recognise it..Any ideas anyone
    Thanks
    PowerMac G5 1.8 DP   Mac OS X (10.4.9)

    This should be possible. Any chance the drive is not
    functioning?
    How does this adapter actually interface a drive to
    the Mac? Does it have a functioning external power
    supply?
    Hi Daddy Paycheck
    The adapter connects to the actual back of the drive via the IDE or the S-ATA connecting block. It does have a separate power supply depending on wether or not it is an IDE or S-ATA drive. In this case it is a IDE drive and I connect up the power cable direct to the drive and the adaptor is powered via the USB 2.0 cable.
    The drive was functioning about a month ago when I swapped it for the present drive , a Pioneer DVR- 112
    Hello! If you haven't tried it I'd reset the pmu and
    see if that helps. And yes you should be able to use
    multiple drives. I have the old internal dvd drive
    along with an external firewire dvd recorder and a cd
    recorder that's firewire also. Tom
    Hi Tom
    I reset the pmu about a week ago when I was trying to get my Firewire hard drives to work, which is how I came to get this adaptor in the first place. The adaptor does work with these hard drives, after I have taken them out of the Firewire enclosures. I came to ther conclusion that something is wrong with my Firewire connection although I can import video footage from my Digicam with out problems
    Thanks

  • [N73] Bluetooth and Pioneer CD-BTB200: work around

    Hi all,
    Just to let you know the work around for using the N73 with FW v4.XXX and the Pioneer BTB200 (among others, delivered with the AVIC-D3 system). Since automatic BT connectivity does not work, I tried something different.
    - set BT on your N73 to "on" and visible
    - let the Pioneer system look for your N73
    - pair (default key '0000') but do NOT set to automatic connect
    - phone register on your Pioneer set
    - each time you swith the Pioneer set on, you have to manual connect from the phone.
    (if you don't want your phone to be visible for other devices, please do not forget to set visibility to 'no')
    How to manual connect from the phone:
    - open BT settings, go to "connections"
    - select your Pioneer BT device
    - connect
    Although you'll get a message on the Pioneer system that the device is not compatible, you will see the headphone icon on your N73, and you can make calls (in- and outgoing).
    Hope this will help some of you :-)
    Cheerio,
    Fr@nk

  • Humm when connecting Audigy 2 ZS to home ster

    I'm connecting an Audigy 2 ZS to a home stereo. I'm using a /8 stereo-to-RCA in jack to hook up to the L and R on my home stereo receiver.
    While I *am* getting sound, there is a serious humm, and the sound isn't as loud as I would have expected.
    The receiver is a Pioneer Elite VSX-45TX, and I've got the SB hooked up to the CD in connection (the dvd/cd player is hooked up elsewhere).
    Why am I getting such horrible humm? I don't get this when I use the PC in my office using the Yamaha powered speakers.

    Are you trying to connect Analog (2 way stereo) OutPut signal (from Audigy) to Digital-InPut (CD/DVD input) channel (on Pioneer)? Try to connect those R/L (RCA) to AV Input (stereo).
    From VSX-45TX site - Connectivity:
    * RS-232
    * USB - Rear
    * Multi-Channel Input- All
    * Multi-Channel Outputs - All
    * Digital Input - 5 (2 coaxial, 3 optical w/front)
    * Digital Output - 2 optical
    * 6 Audio / 5 A/V Inputs (including Tuner) !!! ANALOG INPUTS
    * 2 Audio / 2 A/V / Video Output
    * Phono Input
    * S-Video - 5 In / 2 Out
    * Component Video In/Out
    * Front A/V Inputs
    * Banana Speaker Terminals
    * AC Outlet
    You can connect Audigy to Pioneer using digital or analog? Digital would be the best choice. RTFM (for both devices) to find out how these connections are done (which output on audigy and input on pioneer should be choosed with analog/digital. Shouldn't be hard reading.)
