Connect-SPOService : The Application ID (AppID) for which the service ticket is requested does not exist on the system.

I am trying to connect to SharePoint in my Office 365 environment by following https://support.office.com/article/Set-up-the-SharePoint-Online-Management-Shell-environment-7b931221-63e2-45cc-9ebc-30e042f17e2c and I am getting:
Connect-SPOService : The Application ID (AppID) for which the service ticket is requested does not exist on the system.
Is there some setting I need to change on the O365 side? Thanks.

Hi,
Based on your description, my understanding is that you want connect SharePoint Online using PowerShell.
Please make sure that the following software is installed.
Windows Management Framework 3.0
SharePoint Online Management Shell
And then, open the SharePoint Online Management Shell and use the Script below to test
whether it works.
$User = "[username]@[tenant].onmicrosoft.com"
$Pass = "[password]"
$creds = New-Object System.Management.Automation.PSCredential($User,(ConvertTo-SecureString $Pass -AsPlainText -Force));
Connect-SPOService -Url https://[tenant]-admin.sharepoint.com -Credential $creds
Get-SPOSite

  • 'Destination 'orgFilterService' either does not exist or the destination  has no channels defined

    Hi,
    My code connects to remote object using the destination id as 'orgFilterService'. This was working fine, but all of a sudden it has started giving the below mentioned fault message.
    fault--> [MessagingError message='Destination 'orgFilterService' either does not exist or the destination has no channels defined (and the application does not define any default channels.)']...detail : Couldn't establish a connection to 'orgFilterService'...errorID : 0...faultCode : InvokeFailed
    I am creating the build in Flash builder, and it works fine in my local machine when run from flash builder; whereas, when moved to a UNIX box, it starts giving this error. Again, this was working fine in the UNIX box also before this build.
    I have verified the entries in remoting-config and servivecs config - both are fine, and are untouched since from the last time it was working. Also, it is able to connect to other destination id, but not to this!!
    Entry in remoting-config:
        <default-channels>
            <channel ref="my-amf"/>
        </default-channels>
    <destination id="orgFilterService">
      <properties>
       <source>com.jpmorganchase.pfitr.boreport.DrillOrganizationReport</source>
      </properties>
    </destination>
    Entry in services-config:
            <channel-definition id="my-amf" class="mx.messaging.channels.AMFChannel">
                <endpoint url="http://{server.name}:{server.port}/{context.root}/messagebroker/amf" class="flex.messaging.endpoints.AMFEndpoint"/>
            </channel-definition>
    Changing the build doesnt resolve this error.Please let me know if any kind of refresh needs to be done or any temp files/cache needs to be removed.
    Thanks,
    Vipul Sharma

    Ok, I'll get that a shot. I know the docs talk about using the project creation wizard, but I really would like to be able to just drop in Blaze as some jars and config files. So doing this by hand is my preferred method. Is there any docs talking about setting up Flex Builder projects to work with Blaze? Like the way you're telling me or is what you're showing me it. Because up to this point I've just added stuff to web.xml, create /flex/configs.xml files, and now this compiler param. I have not replaced the {server.context} etc tokens or anything in the configs. Do I need to change that? I saw some posts talking about using full paths instead of tokens, but that would make it a pain to deploy. However when I tried to set those like the post said, the compiler complained about setting those params twice. I'm guessing that means they're already set? However I would think those url prams would need to be relative so I can move my application from localhost to my domain.com server, right?

  • VMM 2012 R2 - Create or Update Run As Account Failure: The specified directory service attribute or value does not exist

    VMM 2012R2 UR4 - Version 3.2.7768.0
    Not sure when this started happening since I haven't had to update or create a new RunAs account in VMM in some time, but every time I do, either through the console or through PowerShell it throws an error about The specified directory service attribute
    or value does not exist.  The VMM Service account is the same as it always has been, and other than this issue everything with VMM is working fine.  The full text of the error message is below.
    I am hoping someone has some ideas because I don't have any more at this point.

  • SCCM 2012 R2 reporting error: "The DefaultValue expression for the report parameter 'UserTokenSIDs' contains an error: A specified logon session does not exist. It may already have been terminated. (rsRuntimeErrorInExpression)"

    Hi,
    I have two SCCM environments under same active directory domain and one service account have been used for SCCM configurations on both the environments (QA and PRODUCTION). I am facing similar error as mentioned above while trying to fetch reports on
    PRODUCTION site, but the QA site is working fine, though same service account have been used for configuring both. While looking at the reportserverservice_<date> log on my Production DB server i see the following error
    "processing!ReportServer_0-3!2124!01/02/2015-09:09:30:: e ERROR: Throwing Microsoft.ReportingServices.ReportProcessing.ProcessingAbortedException: , Microsoft.ReportingServices.ReportProcessing.ProcessingAbortedException: An error has occurred during
    report processing. ---> Microsoft.ReportingServices.ReportProcessing.ReportProcessingException: Cannot read the next data row for the dataset DataSet1. ---> System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Conversion failed when converting the nvarchar value 'Override
    Default' to data type int."
    My DB and SCCM primary site are different and the reorting services point is installed on remote DB server. Please help me resolving the issue.
    Troubleshooting performed:
    1.Disabled the registry key 'EnableRbacReporting' from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SMS\SRSRP to 0 and then restarted SSRS service and the reporting worked for some minutes after that the registry key reverted back to 1 automatically and
    reporting started throwing errors again.
    2. Checked with the permissions on DB whether or not 'sysadmin' role is assigned to the SCCM service account.
    3. re-registered the SQL management Provider WMI class.
    mofcomp.exe “C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\110\Shared\sqlmgmproviderxpsp2up.mof”

    Hi All,
    Finally found exact solution to the reporting error.
    Error: while launching SCCM reports (both from Console and web based) an unexpected error occured with error message as "The DefaultValue expression for the report parameter ‘UserTokenSIDs’ contains an error: A specified logon session does not exist.
    It may already have been terminated. (rsRuntimeErrorInExpression)"
    Solution: This is password replication issue for the domain account used to configure reporting services point in SCCM. If your SQL SSRS reporting services instance and databse runs with local default account whereas the reporting services point on SCCM
    primary site is configured with domain account, (As in My case) you need to perform the following in order to get rid of the error.
    Launch 'Reporting Services Configuration Manager' from the SQL SSRS box(either Local or Remote), Connect to Report Server Instance->Go to 'Execution Account' tab->Specify the 'Execution Account' as domain account and password which is used to configure
    Reporting Services Point in SCCM Primary Site, and then click apply.
    Now Lauch the report either way (Web based or from Console), the error will disappear and all your default reports will execute perfectly as before.

  • Yammer used for page comments in SharePoint Online, initially says "The feed you've requested does not exist"

    I am trying to use Yammer for a per-page comment platform. This seems to require placing a Yammer embed in each page and configuring the embed to use Open-Graph.
    Why does the feed initially say "The feed you've requested does not exist." for every new page? The default should read "There are no messages
    in this feed."
    My embed code looks like this:
    <div id="embedded-feed" style="height:400px;width:500px;"></div>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="https://assets.yammer.com/assets/platform_embed.js"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript"> yam.connect.embedFeed({
    container: "#embedded-feed"
    , network: "myyammernetwork.com"
    , feedType: "open-graph"
    , config: {
    use_sso: false
    , showOpenGraphPreview: false
    , header: false
    , footer: false
    , promptText: "Comment on this page..."
    , objectProperties: { url: window.location.href, type: "page" }

    Hi,
    which is your environment, SharePoint Server 2013 or SharePoint Online?
    For Yammer Embed to work, your SharePoint environment must satisfy the following prerequisites:
    Your organization should have an active Yammer network (for example: www.yammer.com/contoso.com)
    Your SharePoint farm admin should choose Yammer.com service as the default enterprise social collaboration   platform. Set this option in the SharePoint admin center for SharePoint Online and in SharePoint Central Administration for on-premises
    SharePoint Server 2013.   Choose the yammer.com service and wait for 30 minutes before moving on to the next step.

  • How can I connect my iMac to a TV for playback of videos? My TV does not have HDMI.

    How can I connect my iMac to a TV for playback of videos? My TV does not have HDMI.

    You need to find out what video out you have on your iMac, and what kind of video inputs there are on your TV.
    It will help to know exactly what model iMac and exactly what make/model TV you have.
    Depending on the exact model iMac you have, it may have miniVGA, miniDVI, miniDisplayPort or Thunderbolt output.  Your TV may have composite, S-video, component, DVI, VGA or HDMI inputs.  Once you confirm what kind of ports your iMac and TV have, then we can probably suggest the correct cable or adapter so you can connect them to each other.

  • There was a problem connecting to the server "Time Capsule".  The share does not exist on the server. Please check the share name, and then try again.

    The following error pop's up as an [OK] dialogue box after logging in the iMac,
    There was a problem connecting to the server "Time Capsule".
    The share does not exist on the server. Please check the share name, and then try again."
    As it happens, a connection to the Time Capsule is established usually, anyway. On occasion it doesn't.
    I have a Volume, Data, on the capsule, which similarly, usually mounts, but occassionally doesn't, with access permissions denied.
    Any suggestions on how begin to work out how to achieve networking seamlesness?

    First, restart the Time Capsule by disconnecting the power adapter and reconnecting it. If other devices on the network can see it, you can skip this step.
    From the menu bar, select
     ▹ System Preferences ▹ Network
    Click the lock icon in the lower left corner of the window and authenticate to unlock the settings, if necessary. Click the Advanced button, then select the TCP/IP tab in the sheet that drops down. Click Renew DHCP lease.
    Try again to back up.
    If you still can't, open the Time Machine preference pane and delete the TC from the list of backup destinations. You may have to unlock the settings by clicking the lock icon in order to do this. Then add it back.

  • "A valid repository does not exist at the specified connection" when connecting

    Hi all,
    I'm using ODI 11g and Oracle Database 11g EE.
    I've installed ODI without any errors, and chose to skip repository configuration during installation.
    I created the Master and Work Repositories with the RCU that was provided in the same media pack as the ODI installation files.
    After starting ODI, clicking "Connect To Repository..." and inputting the correct credentials I get the following error:
    A valid repository does not exist at the specified connection...
    http://pastie.org/pastes/8081847/text?key=grna09suyra4w0vgitbxiw
    Has anyone had this error before, can anyone help?
    Thanks!
    Josh.

    Josh,
    Looks like the RCU did not create the repository in the intended schema for some reason. you can check the schema for the ODI tables (SNP_*) presence.

    Expert,
    I did the following steps to upgrade the OWB repository from 10g to 11g
    • Created a dummy workspace in the 11.2 repository
    • Created users in the destination environment
    • Run Repository Assistant against the 11.1 source database
    • Then selected *“Export entire repository to a file”* and selected the MDL(10g) to import
    After 99% of completing I have got the below error
    Error ACLContainer: 65315 does NOT EXIST in  the Object Cache for parentID: 65314
    Please let me know the solution.
    Thanks,
    Balaa...

    Hi I had the same error and worked on it for almost a week with no success but there is few work around for this try it it might work for you.
    Step 1>Run a health check on OWB 10.2 enviroment(make sure you clone your OWB 10.2 enviroment and then do this healthcheck ,these checks are tricky )
    refer
    Note 559542.1 Health Check of the Oracle Warehouse Builder 10.2 Metadata Repository
    This will give you info about your missing ACL
    Step 2> download these two scripts fixLostACLContainer.sql ,fixAllACLContainers.sql
    please refer :
    Note 559542.1 Health Check of the Oracle Warehouse Builder 10.2 Metadata Repository
    OWB 10.2 - Internal ERROR: Can not find the ACL container for object (Doc ID 460411.1)
    Note 754763.1 Repository Cleanup Script for OWB 10.2 and OWB 11.1
    Note 460411.1 Opening Map Returns Cannot find ACL Containter for Object
    Note 1165068.1 Internal Error: Can Not Find The ACL Containter For for object:CMPPhysical Object
    It might resolve this ACL issue but it did not work for me.
    If none of these work then
    Perform export from design center of OWB 10.2 and import through design center of OWB 11.2.(ONLY OPTION)
    It worked for me.

    10.10.0.10 being the address given to the Loopback connection and anuja is the hostname.
    Please help me to solve this issue.
    Thanks!

    Thank you PR Srinivas and Khaiser.
    Actually I wish to explain how I solved the problem. I went to the key through the registry path. But saw that there was the folder present in the path but it was blank.
    So I right clicked on the folder went to Permission. I tried giving Full Control Permission for 'System' user name which did not solve the problem.
    Hence in the Permission option of yxefkoe registry key I clicked on Add. In the 'Select Groups or User' popup window I clicked on 'Advanced' option and then clicked on 'Find Now'. I selected the user name which I use to log in to windows and applied the changes.
    After all these steps I found entries in the registry folder 'yxefkoe'. I right clicked on the yxefkoe folder and went to Permissions - > Gave Full Control to the newly added user name.
    And then the problem was solved.
    So I guess when you should find two users in the Permissions option on the yxefkoe folder.
    1. System
    2. User name which u use to log into windows. -- > It is displayed like this --> User_Name(Hostname/User_Name)
    Correct me if i am incorrect here.
    Thanks a lot for the help!

    Hello,
    Someone changed the default templates in your system. WEB_0ADHOC is wrong.
    Delete the entries and restart your java server (because of cache). This will reset the changes to default. All templates for new runtime must be visible in the transaction SE38, program RS_TEMPLATE_MAINTAIN_70. source code must begin with <bi:bisp ...

    Did you try to build the application (Project->Build in Visual Studio) ? If the error doesn't go away then and you have no other compilation errors (if you do you need to fix these first), you should replace "FolderExplorer" with the namespace
    in which the Folder class resides. If you haven't explicitly declared a namespace, you will find the name of the default namespace under Project->Properties->Root namespace. Copy the value from this text box to your XAML:
    xmlns:my="clr-namespace:FolderExplorer"
    The default namespace is usually the same as the name of the application by default so if your application is called "FolderExplorer" you should be able to build it.
    If you cannot make it work then please upload a reproducable sample of your issue to OneDrive and post the link to it here for further help.

    Hi
    When you create a workbook in DEV, you will be assigning a query for that workbook
    When you transport workbook from DEV to QA,the assigned workbook comes along with it
    When you transport only query from DEV to QA, there are certain technical elements called query elements which may not have transported properly
    To avoid this inconsistency between DEV and QA,it is advisable you transport the workbook again....Create new workbook in DEV, assign a query, transport the workbook to QA

    This error is happening everyday. Please advise for a fix.
    If this is happening on an UPSTREAM server it is because you have approved updates that are no longer available from Microsoft. Almost always this involves approvals of *EXPIRED* updates (which have been pulled from the catalog and cannot be downloaded).
    If this is happening on a DOWNSTREAM server it's because something/someone deleted the files from the upstream server. It can also happen if the entire upstream ~\WSUSContent folder has gone amuk.
    For an upstream server, find the expired updates, remove the approvals, cancel the downloads, and then decline the updates.
    For a downstream server, figure out what the affected updates are and fix the upstream server.
