'connect to itunes problem' HELP NEEDED
hi, My iPod touch screen is frozen on a picture of the iTunes icon above the USB connector. I am assuming this is telling me to connect it to my iTunes. this happened after i tried downloading the 4.0 software. when i connect my ipod, i get the message 'windows needs to install driver software for your apple mobile device'.after clicking 'locate and install software'i am told i need the disc that came with my device? i didnt get a disc?! then it says that windows could not install the driver, please go to the device's manufacturer's website for help. PLEASE ANYONE?! thanks in advance
If it's frozen, try to reset the device. If it's not actually frozen, and is simply displaying the recovery screen, you need to have iTunes running when you plug it in. That should bring up a dialog recommending a restore.

Try this.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. -

Forgotten Restrictions Passcode Help
You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.

have you tried quiting the app, ie removing it from the multitasking bar also, and then retrying it? Failing that, flick the ipad into airplane mode for a minute, then flick it back, wait for your wifi to connect then try again.

You need to go to Date & Time and change the date ahead more than a year. Then try and then you can change the date back.

I suspect your error was 1015, not 1051. This usually involves a jailbroken iPhone, use Google to find your solution.

Well, I have an iPod Nano and it's not turning on. When I try to connect it, since I have to charge it. It won't work. It always turns off and on.
you dont have to connect to itunes to charge a nano you just plug it in to the computer and it will charge if you give it time.i hope that my advise helps.:)

Hi, im new with this. I just got a new MacBook Pro 13" with IOs X Lion. Im having a big trouble with my apple ID. I cant create an ID. first was the credit card security code. Somebody told me to follow the instructions in this link to solve the problem ( iTunes Store: My credit card's security code or zip code does not match my bank's records ) but i cant even connect to Itunes Store. PLEASE I NEED SOME HELP URGENT!!
P.D: I created an ID on apple page but it seems that doesnt work for nothing. I tried using that ID on both (Itunes an App Store) but doesnt work.First and foremost, I agree with gdgmacguy about using the support link. That is most likely your best bet. But, I have read posts from other users that had issues with their Apple ID that you must enter your address exactly like it appears on you credit card statement. Don't abbreviate "street" or "road" - things like that - unless that matches your statement exactly. Have you moved and maybe not changed your address on your credit card statement yet...??
I am not saying that is the reason you can't create the ID, but it has been an issue for some. You could try what I suggest, but the support link is the best way to go if you can't get it accomplished on your own.

I put my ipod on voice control by accident so i typed in my password because I wanted to listern to my music it said it was wrong. So i typed it in over and over again until it said connect to itunes so I did. Then while I was at it I updated it I waited 30 mins and then I couldn't turn it on. When it finally did turn on it still said please connect to itunes. So i restored it and rebooted it everything. And it still says connect to itunes. I go on itunes and it says ipod touch is in restore mode unlock password. Well I can't do that if my ipod is disabled. Please help.

Mysterious skn name in project setup - what file is being referenced?
