How can I connect my TV to my iMac G5?
That way I can use my TV for presentation.
Also I can watch TV on my computer

How can I connect my TV to my iMac G5?
You need to use the Apple Video Adapter to get S-video or composite video out. Then you will need a cable to connect between that and your TV. That will allow your iMac G5 to be displayed on the TV.
Also I can watch TV on my computer
There are several options provided by Elgato.com

    Do you have the old SQL Developer with the connections working? If so select the Connections node, right mouse click for the context menu and export the definitions. Then in the new build, use the same action to import your connections.

  • Restoring a deleted column in Excel from a SharePoint Data Connection view

    I used the "Export to Spreadsheet" option for a SharePoint document library to create my working report.  I created a special view for this as I did not want all of the columns in my export.  I build my report on a seperate tab in Excel
    around this exported data and it has been working great.  I recently added a new column to the view on SharePoint but it does not show up when I refresh my data.  I tried manually adding the column, evening ensuring it was in the same orderl;
    still no luck.  The Connection file does not exist so I cannot edit the owssvr.iqy.  All I have is the connection string and command text.  I created a new workbook to see if the command string changed because of the new column but it did not.
    I don't want to rebuild my report from scratch just because I added a new column, but it appears that may be the only option I have unless someone can answer my question.
    Question: How can I get a new column from a view added to an existing data connection query?

    Hi,
    First, make sure you have added the new column into the view as well as the list.
    Second, try to use "MSQuery" feature in Excel to check the issue.
    For more information about MSQuery, please refer to the following link:

  • Remote Desktop Connection - viewing screen

    Hi, I just installed Remote Desktop Connection on my Imac at home so I can access my work PC. Everything works fine but my image I view is only about 5" x 6". It seems like a waste of the 27" screen. Does anyone know how I can increase the size of this so I can access the whole screen?
    Thanks

    Hi and welcome to Discussions,
    personally I use Screen Sharing for accessing my work PC but I think this also applies to RDC.
    What you get on your iMac is the screen resolution of your work PC when using RDC.
    Since the 27" iMac has such a high resolution natively (2560x1440) the RDC window might be quite small when your work PC uses a resolution of 1280x1024 (as an example).
    You might try to raise the resolution of your Work PC (should be possible through RDC when the resolution change on your Work PC is appliable without a restart of it) but eventually might come to a barrier when reaching the highest resolution possible on your Work PC.
    Also keep in mind that the higher the resolution of the Work PC is, the more data has to be transfered which might slow down your RDC connection to a crawl.
    Regards
    Stefan

  • Form Error: form based on a Generic connectivity view

    A view was based on a select from a table in a Syabase database (accessed in Oracle using Generic Connectivity).
    When I built a block in a Form based on that view, I faced the following error:
    ORA-02070: database SYB does not support ROWID in this context.
    Also, the same error appeared in the reports accessing the same view.
    Can anyone give me a clue to solve this problem plz?
    Thanks in advance.

    I later knew that the issue can be addressed by setting the parameter Key Mode to nonupdatable.

  • Connecting views with the application

    Hi,
    I am new to web dynpro. I am designing a web dynpro application where I have a log in view, in which the user will enter the username and the password. On submitting the user will be able to log in to the application. I have developed a ztable wherein I have maintained the user name and the passwords. Now I am not able to connect the view , component controller and the ztable. Please guide me as to how should I proceed.
    Regards,
    Ashutosh

    Hi ,
    1Create a node in  component controller  with name  Logindata
    Create the attributes userid and password .the attributes should be of the type  where u have cretaed the  fields in the table where u storing all the usernames and pass words.
    2.Go to the view .
    go to context tab.
    drag and drop the node to the view's context.
    3.desiging the lay out.
    a..Create a view with has 2 fields User name(input field) and password(input field)
    you can make the input field as password field by checking the property of the input field as passwordfield(flag the check box)
    b.Create a button login.
    .As user enters the username and password
    in the events of the buttons
    i.e n action of the button
    write the below code.
    lo_el_user_role->get_attribute(
    EXPORTING
    name = `USER_ID`
    IMPORTING
    value = lv_userid ).
    lo_el_user_role->get_attribute(
    EXPORTING
    name = `password`
    IMPORTING
    value = lv_password. )
    SELECT * FROM zrm_c_cv_overl INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE lt_resume_info WHERE userid = lv_userid AND pasword = lv_password...
    if sy-subrc = 0.
    navigate to next view.
    fire the plug which u r using to navigate to next view.
    endif.
    And you can refer the link which i mentioned to  navigate  between the views.

  • HP Palm Pixie -- Connecting/Viewing Internet Video Streaming

    Is the Palm Pixie phone capable of connecting to the internet and watching website video Movie/Television Show video selections (or must I purchase the Palm Pixie Plus or greater models, to do so)?  For example, connecting to:
    http://www.hulu.com/  .... or
    http://www.fastpasstv.ms/  .... or
    http://www.1channel.ch/  .... or
    http://www.tehcake.com/video/tvshows.html
    Thank you, for the assistance and clarification.

    Post relates to: Pixi p120eww (Sprint)

    IMHO, if your main interest is viewing video (I know Hulu won't work, not sure of the others), why are you choosing the smallest screen HP placed on a phone?  :/

    I'm doing a tutorial that is showing how to change views, but the app keeps crashing, i have all the coding for the '.h's and '.m's with out any errors. the thread keeps breaking after connecting the File's Owner to the View.
    Here is the breakpoint in the coding(i did not touch this page, i'm not sure what it is)
    And here is the All Output text.
    all help will be greatly appercheated.

    Why do you say that ?
    Haven't you something else in AllOutput? For example the last instruction (the number 1, 2, 3...)
    Perhaps it's something which is not connected in your xib!
    It's the function that i use for change view when i haven't uinavigationbar:
    // Load View
    myHelloWorldView1 = [ [ HelloWorld1View alloc ] initWithFrame:
    [[UIScreen mainScreen] applicationFrame] ];
    [ self.view addSubview:myHelloWorldView1 ];
    [ myHelloWorldView1 release ];
    // Remove View
    [ myHelloWorldView2 removeFromSuperview ];
    myHelloWorldView2 = nil;

  • Unable to see tables in Connections View

    Hi I'm new to Oracle SQL Developer (1.5.4). I have successfully created and tested my connections. However, the tables won't appear under the Table Tree and same fot the rest. Can someone please assist me? Cheers

    Hi,
    Please let me know what your connections are?Oracle, SQL Server, another database?
    If you created Oracle connection, which user did you use ? Did you try SYSTEM user for example?
    If you don't see even your connection has been created with SYSTEM user or as SYSDBA, try to do that:
    ==>Exit SQL DEVELOPER
    ==>Go in the following Path:
    C:\Documents and Settings\<your user account>\Application Data\SQL Developer\system1.5.4.59.40\o.jdeveloper.db.connection.11.1.1.0.22.49.48
    ==>Rename the file connections.xml
    ==>Start SQL DEVELOPER
    ==>Create a new connection
    Please let me know your feedback

  • Is it possible to disable Export connections functionality (Connections view) in SQL developer?

    Hi,
    because of some security reasons, there is a need to disable export connections functionality in SQL developer.
    Is it possible to do this somehow?
    Many thanks,
    Dejan

    Not that I know of.
    Even if we did, they are still stored in a file that most of your users would be able to access.
    You can however disable the ability to save passwords.
    And exporting connections now do not include passwords by default, although you can include them if you supply an additional password.

  • How to create navigational links...and connect views of another component

    Hi...
    I am new to SAP CRM...
    I have a requirement where i need to navigate from the main window of a component to the view of a different component.
    Scenario:
    When i click on edit button after selecting a line item in the assignment block in the BT111H_OPPT/Details ,it should navigate to the details page of the line item which is the view of another component that has been created .say ZRP/PEL.
    How can i achieve this using the concept of inbound/outbound plugs and navigational links?
    I have got a vague idea on plugs from my search...that these are entry/exit points to views.
    But what is the procedure to follow to attain the functionality?
    How do we decide on which component needs which all plugs?
    Anyhelpful pointers would be rewarded.
    Also, an idea on what exactly does the inbound/outbound plugs do and how is the flow happening , how are navigational links working etc would be appreciated.
    Thanks..

    Steps to create navigational link:
    1.     Create an outbound plug in the component from where you want to navigate. Sometimes
                    standard navigational links are already there.. you just need to identify it.
    2.     Create a Component usage in runtime repository for target component.
    3.     Add this component usage to the main window view in repository.
    4.     Create navigation link between the transaction type and the target component view.
    5.     In the outbound plug, use the view manager to navigate to the target component. Ex:
                    ME->FIRE_OUTBOUND_PLUG( IV_OUTBOUND_PLUG   = 'TO_OUTPLUG''
                              IV_DATA_COLLECTION = LR_COL ).
    6.     Pass the data through the data collection.

  • JDeveloper 10.1.3 BPEL plugin - can NOT connect to BPEL PM server

    I can use the JDeveloper BPEL Designer 10.1.2.1.0 to create a simpel BPEL Process that I deploy to the BPELM PM with the following WSDL:
    http://kmandrup-dk:9700/orabpel/default/BPELProcess1/1.0/BPELProcess1?wsdl
    I can then use JDeveloper 10.1.3 to hook up to this WSDL
    I would however prefer to use the BPEL plugin from within JDev 10.1.3 to create the BPEL process and deploy it directly. However I can't figure out how to establish a connection to the BPEL PM. Should I instead install a UDDI registry in my application server and then register the web service there? Seems like a "twisted" workaround!
    In JDev 10.1.2 connections view, there is a node called BPEL Process Manager Server where one can create connections to BPELM PMSs
    In Jdev 10.1.3 there is an App Server node and an Integration Server node, but the Integration Server node seems only able to refer to the App Server connections.
    How does one achieve a direct BPEL PM Server connection in 10.1.3 similar to the effect of 10.1.2.
    When I create a new BPEL Process Project I get an error, That the WSDL for the service created is not valid, due to being unable to acces a BPEL PMS :( What to do?
    It also complains that it is unable to create the test suites :(
    Is something missing in my BPEL plugin install perhaps???
    Thanx in advance for any help!

    Does the 10.1.3 J-Developer have the BPEL plugin in it? I didn't think this was avail. Unless you are on a beta version, I would bet you don't have the full deal like you think.

  • I read a post about connecting to Vista with Finder Go

    but the guy was asking if there was a way to not use that work around.. i was hoping someone could explain how to connect to a vista PC using that Finder > Go > Connect to Server method i tried using the local IP of the PC but it didnt work am i missing something?

    you have to enable file sharing on your mac so that you can share files with windows computer - you also need to create a password protected account on the windows machine that has permission to read and if you wish write to the folders you plan to share - then you simply use the finder method Go > connect to server and as the previous poster showed you use smb://myvista-pc when you click connect it should prompt you for a username and password to access the share - this will be the username and password you setup on the vista machine not your username on your mac - I use a 24" imac and my wife prefers to stick with windows vista.. i have no problem connecting, viewing, or editing files on her vista machine using this method in fact in some very basic tests i did the transfer of files is much quicker than between two windows machines
