Connected computer speakers to BlackBerry 8330

Oh my gosh....I just connected my computer speakers to my BlackBerry 8330 and playing "Slacker Radio", the sound is awesome!

I would love to be able to connect my speakers and do this too.  However when I connect my Bose mini computer speakers to the Blackberry there is no sound output.  Anybody have any ideas why?

Hook the RCA cables to the audio out on your TV, then plug the cable from your speakers into it.

    Hi Peter!
I'm sorry to read that you are having issues with your Sync account.
Your best bet is to follow the steps described in this blogposts and open a bug:
    https://philikon.wordpress.com/2011/06/13/how-to-file-a-good-sync-bug/
After that, if you don't want to user Sync in your computer, you can stop it with this simple steps:
    * At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button (Tools menu in Windows XP) and then click Options.
    * Once the options window opens, click on the Sync tab.
    * At the bottom of the Sync tab click on '''Deactivate this Device''' link

My bluetooth speaker (JBL Charge 2) is shown as "connected in the blu tooth section of the task bar. I have also gone to system preferences and the speakers are also shown to be connected and chosen as the main speakers. However, no sound comes out of the bluetooth speaker but rather the sounds still comes out of the computer. speakers. I have tried connecting, reconnecting, and restarting computer. The bluetooth speaker is also shown as connected in bluetooth preferences. What is wrong?

I have tried to connect and Jambox and have the same problem; bluetooth speakers are connected and chosen but sound comes out of computer speakers.

  • Connect apple tv to computer speakers.

    Hello,
What can I use to connect the apple tv to computer speakers? I know it has digital output but speakers only have 3.5 m jack input.
Is there any cable that will make this possible?

    Hi,
I have a SB Li've Value and I wanted to connect my regular computer speakers as well as my TV to it.
I am using a mono plug to hook my computer speakers and my TV currently. Whenever I want output on my TV I have to unhook my computer speakers from the soundcard and plug in the mono plug from the TV.
Is there any possible that I do not have to do that and I can get output on both using the mono plugs.
Please help me out as I have looked al over the place and I cannot find an answer to this problem.

  • Blackberry 8330 - Deleteing email off both Blackberry & Home Computer

    I currently have a Blackberry 8330, v4.5.0.186 (Platform 3.4.0.59).
I used to be prompted to delete emails off both my blackberry and my home computer's Windows Mail.  I think after updating the Blackberry, this option was no longer available, which requires me to read emails on my Blackberry and then to have to delete them off my home computer.
Does anyone know of a way that I can restore this function to my Blackberry?
    Thanks in advance.

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

When you say "updating the BlackBerry" do you mean you updated the software or you upgraded the device from an older device?
When you open an email, scroll up into the headers.  Next to "Received Using" does it list the email address or does it say unknown?
If it says "unknown" you may just need to resend your service books.
Go to the icon on your device that says Email Setup (Manage Internet Email on some devices) and go into the setup for your email.  There is an option to "resend service books."
If it shows your email address then it doesn't hurt to go ahead and resend the service books anyway but then you'll need to:
Go into Messages >Options >Email Reconciliation.
Choose the Message Service in question (there may be multiple ones if you have more than one email address set up on the device.
Then change "Delete On" to "Prompt."

  • Connecting to computer speakers

anyone know if you can directly connect your iPod to computer speakers? my computer at work doesn't have a 2.0 USB port so I can't connect it directly to the computer...can I to the speakers?
    thanks!

    Kari,
Yes you can connect your speakers to the headphone socket if they have a standard 3.5 plug, however to get any sort of volume you would need powered speakers.

  • Connecting regular speakers in addition to my 5.1 computer speakers

I have SB X-Fi Titanium Fatalty pro.
I would like to connect my regular speakers in the livingroom when listening to music from my computer. I allso want to be able to listen to both the regular and computer speakers simontaineously.
Is there any way of doing this?
Last soundcard I had (realtek) could assign tasks to the different outputs (but I had to do that everytime I turned on the computer since it didn't remember the settings)

No, the reduction would be negligible -- unless you have an unusually large impedance mismatch between the two devices. Of more concern is the distance of the cable to your living room speakers. Still not a problem if they're powered because then it's likely volume control can compensate for the small signal drop. If not, then you'll need an amplifier anyway.

  • Syncing with Blackberry 8330

Can I sync from my Palm computer program to my Blackberry 8330 phone?  The Blackberry doesn't list Palm OS as one of the operative systems it automatically connects with.
    Post relates to: Tungsten E2

Hello dougloving and welcome to the Palm forums.
You are correct, you can't sync your BlackBerry with Palm Desktop.  What you need to do is purchase a copy of Microsoft Outlook if you don't already have a license for it.  Then sync your Palm with Palm Desktop one last time.  Next, change your HotSync conduits from Palm Desktop to Microsoft Outlook using the icon in Start > All Programs > Palm.  Once you get the Outlook conduits configured (the Palm E2 user guide will help you set up the conduits), sync your E2 with Outlook.
Once you have the Palm/Outlook sync working, you can then sync your BlackBerry to Outlook and have both devices updating Outlook.
    Hope that helps,

  • Static on computer speakers

I have noticed that i get static on my computer speakers every hour or half hour and the battery drains way too fast.
I think it is because the centro is talking to the intnet but I do not have it autosyncing email on its own.
Any suggestions on how to stop this?
    Post relates to: Centro (AT&T)

This is an AT&T thing with their GSM network.  I can hear it through my computer also, no matter which phone I'm using - Centro or Sony Ericsson.
My wife's Blackberry does it also, sometimes extremely loudly!
Every half-hour sounds a bit much, you might give AT&T a call to get their opinion...
As far as battery draining, you can look at the screen and see if you have the two green arrows by the Signal indicator - this indicates data connections.
You can turn off Beam Receive and BlueTooth if not needed to save some battery usage.  Dimming the screen some will also help.

  • Sprint Blackberry 8330 v4.5

Hi. I just updated my Blackberry 8330 to v4.5 and I was wondering if theres that theme available that comes out on all the new phones.
I was at the Sprint store today, and I saw that they had a Blackberry Curve 8350 out on display with the theme. And when I went into Options>Themes they only had that theme as the defult one (so it wasnt downloaded).
Any idea how to do this or download the v5.0?
I checked in about and I think the version on the 8350 was 4.5 or 4.6

So I'm looking for the one that I had before all of this nonsince, also if a New OS is made does some 1 check them out becouse the 1I have has so many flaws.
If its possible that u can point me in the right direction for the OS that came with the Cell.
Hi again. Yes can point you in the right direction. Below I will post the instructions I used to cleanly install a new OS. Within the instructions is a link to download from your carrier, sorted by geographical location. Usually there are a couple of choices, the latest and the previous. Sometimes there is only the latest. If you carrier doesn't have the version you want. You will have to find a carrier that does have the nearest equivalent OS, download it to pc and then locate it using the path C: Drive > Common Files > RIM > Apploader and delete the XML file. Then you can continue with the installation. And its quite easy (even I did it!!!!).
This what I did to completely wipe my BB. I wrote this before starting and printed it off.
If your device is functioning, perform a backup now if you haven't already done so saving the file to a place and in a name that you can easily locate on computer.
I then uninstalled DTM and then deleted all other references to BB/Rim in Windows Explorer thus removing the OS for the BB from the computer in order to ensure that the version I would reinstall would be a brand new downloaded version.
Get the latest Desk Top Software (DTS)
    http://us.blackberry.com/apps-software/desktop/?CPID=OTC-DSKTPSW&cp=OTC-DSKTPSW
and install it on the computer.
Get the correct latest version of the OS
    http://us.blackberry.com/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
    and save it to computer.
To erase all the data on your BlackBerry device, complete the following steps.
    1) Download JL_Cmder from http://www.4shared.com/get/oqP9V-2Q/JL_Cmder_v19.html
    2) Install JL_Cmder to computer.
    3) Double check you have already backed-up the BB. If you DO NOT, you will lose ALL data.
    4) Make sure the DTS is closed and plug in the BB to computer via USB
    5) Go to the JL_Cmder on your computer and double click it to start. Now,this may take a few tries to connect, so keep trying until it does.
    6) On the first screen, Press any key to continue.
    7) Now, if your device uses a password, enter it now. If not, press "N"
    8) Press 4 to initiate the WIPE
    9) Press "Y" to continue
    10) Now type "blackberry" to continue
    11) On the BB you will see a white screen with a'507' Error. Don't worry, this is what you want! You are now ready to install the OS.
Launch the new Desk Top Software on the computer
1). On the home screen of the BlackBerry® Desktop Software, click Device > Update my device.
2). Click View Other Versions. Click the version of the new OS you previously downloaded.
3). Click Install. The DTM will install the OS and then provide you with a list of applications to install. If you have had difficulties with an app, do not install it.
Do not disconnect the device until the whole process is completed and the device has rebooted.
After 10 minutes reboot again by removing the battery whilst powered-on and leave it out for a couple of minutes.
Leave it again for 10 minutes. You should now have a fully functioning BB!

How do I use GarageBand as a amp/speaker to listen to my Electronic Drum set? I have a MIDI-USB cord already but I can't figure out how to listen to my set through the software using my computer speakers?

If you want to listen to the sounds of your drum set, you should use an audio cable and connect it to the computer's line-in, then create a real instrument track.
If you use a Midi/USB interface, you'll have to create a software instrument track and select one of GB's drumsets as the instrument. Hopefully your drumset's midi notes are mapped to the right sounds in GB.
