Connecting a gamecube to my Imac?

Okay, so heres what I have done so far. I connected my gamecube to an analog/digital converter. So the red white and yellow wires went into there, and the converter had an HDMI port, so I plugged the HDMI cable into there, and then on the other side of the HDMI cable, i connected it to a hdmi to thunderbolt adapter, and plugged the thunderbolt into my IMac. Once it went into my Imac, the screen flickered for a second, and went back to my original desktop. How do I get it to change to my gamecube?

If you have a wifi router you can set up/turn on the wifi... set the user name and password wifi in your router... open wifi in general settings on the iPhone... log into your router, user name and password. (If your don't know how to turn on the router wifi. Google the router make and model and you will find instructions on how to do this.)
If you don't have a wifi router and your Mac has wifi capabilities you can hookup to the internet over wifi from your Mac to your iPhone.
System Preferences on the Mac... Network... Wifi... Advanced tab... Hit the '+' to add a user name and password...
Make sure you use WPA2 Personal for Security... Hit ok... Turn on the wifi... Same as above with the iPhone, log into your wifi settings on the iPhone.
*Important point... Use WPA2 for the encryption/Security setting. If you use anything else for this setting, your wifi can be hacked.

I currently have Airport Express software version 5.6.1. How can I update this software? (I can connect directly to my Airport Extreme by ethernet and download the update that way). Is a later version of A E software available for download anywhere? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

One possibility is that you may need to "Upgrade" your Cable /DSL Modem if you have an older unit. ISP's that provide your Internet service in recent years have been switching over from DOCSIS 2.1 version Modems to DOCSIS 3.0 version Modems, which handle the new higher data streaming speeds the ISP's are offering. I would suggest you call your ISP's Technical Support and inquire about this possibility.

I decided to go another direction after reading in discussions the many problems associated with this endeavor. I kept my studio display, that I bought with the Power Mac G4, and plugged in to my router to complete the hookup with my iMac. In general you would unplug the monitor from the Mac Pro and then directly connect the monitor to the xBox 360 (with the correct adapter cable, depending on which version of the xBox 360 you have). However, if you don't have permission from the owner of the lab to be connecting and disconnecting cables you shouldn't be doing that. Buy a cheap 1080p TV and use your xBox 360 at home.

Thanks for your reply. I looked in the Video app but it is empty. When I connect the iPad to iTunes on the iMac and look in Apps > File Sharing > iPhoto, the video that I added is in iPhoto on the iPad but I cannot actually find the video in iPhoto on the iPad.
