Connecting to the headphone jack of a stereo won't work, as this is an output.
If the other stereos have line-ins, aux-ins etc. chance are they'll have 2 RCA/phone sockets, so you'll need something like this cable:

I want to connect my mp3 player to my "CX-CD375 Coby Micro Stereo System" but the only jack it has is a headphone jack. So I can't connect it. Or unless there's another way. I already tried a 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm cable but it didn't work.

I think I'm going to have to buy a new stereo. I found one that has a Y Audio input, will that work?

And another one that has a AUX Input but I don't know how I would connect it to that. It said that It'll play music from an external device.

I connected my Zen V MP3 player before I set up the software and now when I put the?CD in the computer my computer does not recognize that I have a CD in the dri've. It doesnt recognize that CD or any other CD. What happened and what can I do to correct it's!
    PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Thank you all for your replies.
I actually ended up contacting the place I bought my computer. It turned out that plugging in my MP3 player prior to setting up my software corrupted the dri've. So I just installed my new Dri've tonight, installed the software and have been playing with my new MP3 player. I hope that after all the trouble I went through this player is all its cracked up to be!?

  • Is there a way I can connect my mp3 player to my AV Receiv

Is there a type of wiring that I need to buy? Can anyone help me?

Yes , u may try to use a stereo to dual RCA cable. The stereo jack will connect to your MP3 or Zen Micro and the dual RCA will connect to your AV receiver input audio channel.
Some AV receivers input may have port in front while old AV receiver can usually find the AV input on the rear of the AV receiver.

  • Want to connect a mp3 player to my wife's

I wanted to buy a nano plus for my wife and wanted to know whether there is an adpter to allow my to connect it to her car stereo. Is there one out there for the nano plus...
    Any help would be appreciated...
    Doug

A cassette adapter will work. I got mine from Radio Shack, but Creative sells one, too. You can also use any FM transmitter, etc.. You just plug these into the headphone jack. They work just like any other Zen (you can even use the same adapter). The best adapter is a straight cable if you have a "line in" or "aux in" on the car stereo. If you don't have a cassette deck, no "aux" or "line" input, then you are stuck with an FM transmitter. There are ways to create your own "line in" on a car stereo, but you have to go behind the radio to fool with plugs. If that's what you want to do, I think there is some instruction here somewhere on that. My brother uses a Belkin Tunecast II transmitter for his iPod. It is pretty neat, with a digital tuner and it automatically turns off (saving battery) if he is not using it. His, for his iPod, can charge the player in the car, too (although that is not going to work with the Zen Nano Plus which just uses a AAA battery). I listen to Audible Audio in my car with my Nano Plus all the time with a cassette adapter.

  • Mp3 player connectivity with Gigaworks G500

Hello which cable do I need to connect my mp3 player to all the speakers. Thanks

Sounds like you have a bad or weak battery in your player. How are you playing your music? Are you using wins Media player or another player to play your music? Do you have the orginal Creative Zen V Plus CD Installation Driver? You might try and uninstall the drivers and reinstall them again. Just some things to think about. I am having a problem w/ my Zen V plus. Read my Post about my problems. (Help w/ Zen V +) Keep posting here for help. ODIE

  • MP3 Player in Connect 8

The description for the Connect Pro MP3 Player states:
"--- NOTE: Do not use with Adobe Connect 8 ---"
Is there any intention of updating this for version 8, or is the capability provided some other way?  I find it nice to have sound in a lobby so participants can set their volume and have found this player to be a good source for this.
    Karl_S

Yes, it is being updated.  Understand the Pods on the Exchange are developed by partners, customers, and some Adobe employees outside of their normal duties.  These are not supported by Adobe.  So, that being said it will be updated soon.  The Pod is being tested and re-worked for C8 and beyond.
There is another option that works great:
    1. Launch Apple GarageBand
    2. Create a new project - Podcast
    3. Remove all tracks except the podcast track
    4. Drag and drop music from your iTunes library
    5. Drop them so that each song is one after another on the same track
    6. When done, choose Export Podcast to Disk from the Share menu
    7. Choose the option for MP3 Encoder for the "Compress Using" drop down menu
    8. You will then have a large MP3 file that you can upload to Connect by using Share Document, then select the file, and you will see the player which will sync across all attendees.
Note of caution: with this method you will see that all attendees regardless of status (Host, Presenter, Attendee) will have control over the pausing and playing of music. That means that if user A in St. Louis hits the pause button, then all attendees will see the music pause.  Solution: Start the music playing, then move a Note pod over the top of the MP3 pod so it is hidden. Only Hosts can then control the music. Another option might be the presenter only area.
This works quite well because Adobe Connect natively supports uploading MP3 files.
    Enjoy!

  • Can't play music from phone to mp3 player etc

    Help,
When I connect my phone to an MP3 player, it doesn't recognize the connection - any suggestions?

Hi and welcome to the forums!
You will not be able to connect the two via the headphone jack.
If you need to transfer music from one to the other, connect the BB via USB to
your PC, and connect the mp3 player using it's connection cable.
If you have a media card in the BB is will show up as a flash drive in Explorer,
the same as your mp3 player. You can then transfer music. Files that are
iTunes and have DRM will not play or transfer to the BB.

  • IPod compatibility- VW Jetta equipped with MP3 player

I recently bought a new (2007) VW Jetta with an MP3 player factory installed. Does anyone know what I need to do or what accessories I need to buy to get my iPod to work with the MP3 player?

You need to read the manual and see if the stereo plays MP3 CDs or if you can connect an MP3 player up to it (or both).
There is a spot in the glove compartment for what I thought was the MP3 player and I just assumed I'd plug something into that?
Possibly. What kind of a connection is it?
If it's for the stereo, it should have a USB jack to plug into.

  • VISION :M MP3 PLAYER, CAR INTERGRATION

hi guys i have a quick question, do zen vision:m mp3 players have car intergrations which are the things you some how connect the mp3 player to your car so you can listen to your mp3 in ur car except its hooked up to your car or something so everybody can hear it ?
i know the ipod has it but i dont know if zen vision :m has it, but either way i dont even know how the system works exactly in cars...
so can anybody plz help me Thanks!

Thanks for that advice. Is this common, that even when downloading a mp4 video file from Zencast.com I would have to convert it before being able to play it's I would think that Creative would only allow ready-to-play files to be uploaded onto their website.

  • Creative Zen Nano mp3 player not showing on ext monitor

I am having a problem getting an mp3 player to show in the finder when my powerbook is closed and I am working off an external monitor.
I have a Creative Zen Nano 512 mb which shows on the desktop of my powerbook when the lid is up. Once showing I can close the lid and it will still show on an external monitor. If I eject and plug it in again, it will not show. I can restart the powerbook but I cannot connect the mp3 player to a closed powerbook and get it to show up on the external monitor. I can only get it to show in the finder when the powerbook display is functional. It will show on both.
    Anyone have info on this.
How can I get this MP3 player plugged into the USB port, to show on the desktop viewed on the external monitor when the powerbook is closed lib?
    Thanks

    Harmz,
I think you may get better info if you post on the Powerbook G4 12" Discussions. (I think you just hit the wrong button.)

  • MP3 player USB to S/PDIF conver

I have acquired quite a few Creative MP3 players and sound cards over the years. One thing I really like about Creative MP3 players is the MP3 tracks are not wrapped. Why is this good? One reason I can give is that we are starting to see a lot of "USB Direct"? audio products. These allow simple plug/play of your plain USB mass storage devices or MP3 player flash dri'ves *provided* the tracks are MP3 tracks.A simple example .. this Philips AZ836 micro-boombox:?http://www.consumer.phili<br />
<br...questid=288824?The USB port works perfectly with every Creative MP3 player I've tried (MuVu TX, V00, N200 etc..).Some more recent DVD players also provide this "USB Direct" port. However, what I'd also like to do is connect my MP3 player to an amplifier that has a S/PDIF inputs (either digital coaxial or optical). Obviously I can connect the headphone output of the MP3 player to any line-in on the amplifier but I want to do it digitally from the MP3 player so .. Question:? Are there any portable? "digital converter" devices designed to convert USB data from MP3 flash players to S/PDIF digital or optical streams??

Thinking about this a bit more ... this is a bit more complicated. A "USB Direct" device is a USB host. So for this to really make sense, the "converter" would need to read the USB dri've, and allow the user to select a recognizable audio track (MP3 or WMA) and then play it out to the S/PDIF output of the converter ... So maybe what I really should have asked is:?Question2:? Are there any *portable* MP3 players (or for that matter portable CD-Audio/MP3 CD players) that provide an SPDIF output capability??

  • MP3 player iss

So I recently bought one of these microphoto zen mp3 players, but I'm having a crippling problem. I can't get my computer to read the mp3 player. I installed the software, updated all of my drivers, and when I connect my MP3 player to my computer it tells me that it's not connected. I've tried all 4 of my USB ports and still nothing. I even used a different USB cable (intended for my digital camera); it semi-works. With the new cable it displays the little lightning-bolt icon (charging symbol I presume) on the battery meter, but my computer still tells me that it's not connected. But I know for a fact that this digital camera USB cord works, as I use it frequently with my camera with no problem. I even contacted Creative tech support and they couldn't tell me how to fix the problem.
