Connecting a PSP on my Mac

Hi,
I hooked up my PSP and I wanted to make space on my Sony memory stick so I deleted some files. Yet when I delete the files the amount of memory stays the same and doesn't increase. In short, when I delete the files, it doesn't make any more space. I want to install final fantasy 7 on my PSP from my PS3 and I tried to make space by deleting but I didn't get anymore space.
How do I fix this?

I have a different issue concerning connecting a PSP to my Mac. I have a PSP I bought used. It works great, I have had it over a yr, no problems. But it is formatted to a PC. I hooked it up to my Mac, and it read the memory card, but I tried putting some music on it, and it did not recognize the files. Is there a way to re-format the PSP to a Mac, and if there is, will I lose all my save game data on the memory cards.

I know there are devices such as those made by Elgato eg http://tinyurl.com/gameconsolesonmac which allow you to connect a games console to an adapter which connects to the Mac so you can then play the consoles on the Mac's screen, however I am not aware of any which say they support the PSP.

I want to buy the PSP from Sony to play games and watch movies on it. I was wondering if any of you know what type of movie files can I play on the PSP (play station portable). Can I transfer my .avi file movies onto it? or do I have to rip my DVD's into a different format? Is there software that supports PSP on mac ? i.e. When I connect it to my MacBook via USB - will my MacBook recognize the PSP?

If you buy a MemoryStick Duo(I'd get a 2GB for movies) you can convert your video to MP4 just like the iPod and play it on your PSP. All you need is the USB cable. You can do the same for music....but it can be in mp3 format.
I always use my PSP with my Mac. It just shows up as a Memory Stick on the desktop and I transfer my Music/movies/ect to it and it plays it perfectly.

No, it does not. It transfers purchases from the iDevice to the computer. The computer must be authorized for the Apple ID that the content was acquired with.

you should be able to use the iMac's screen (27" model) with another computer, using DisplayPort.
I'm not sure what you mean by "sharing applications", that's not usually possible.

You can control your mini (which I am assuming you are hooking to your TV) complete from your iMac.
After you set up screen sharing, you can go to the finder, under the "go" menu choose "Connect to server" and then browse. Choose your mac mini's name, and look for the "Screen Sharing" button.

Yes, but how depends on what model of Mini and what kind of monitors. Early models only had one monitor port. Later models had a Mini-DVI port and a Mini-Displayport. Current models have a Mini-Displayport and a HDMI port. The Mini-DVI and Mini-Displayport can attach VGA or DVI monitors, whereas the HDMI port can't use VGA monitors.
Beyond that, you can get Matrox's DualHead2Go or a USB->VGA or USB->DVI adapter. The Matrox product is a bit expensive and the USB adapters are a bit to slow for games and such. So, again, the answer is "yes", but with limitations

They don't expire. As far as anyone knows Apple IDs live on forever - if you forgot its password use https://iforgot.apple.com. Good luck with the answers to whatever security questions it asks.

Right! That's the reason you do not create a new Apple ID.
As far as Apple is concerned a new Apple ID is a completely different user, with absolutely, positively no access to anything available to any other Apple ID.
Concentrate your efforts on resetting the password to your old Apple ID. It has not expired, and is the only way to use all your existing iTunes purchases, App Store purchases, computer authorizations... etc. Forget about the new Apple ID you just created.

Just like you would create a new folder anywhere. Open the drive's icon from your desktop or the Finder, and click shift-command-N. (Or use the Finder menu if you prefer - File - New Folder).
If you can't create a folder, your drive may be the wrong format (you can't write to a Windows/NTFS formatted drive, for example). You'll have to back up any files you have on there, and then use Disk Utility to reformat it to Mac Extended (if it will only be used on a Mac) or MS-DOS format (if you want to share it with a PC).

Ive got the same problem, just got my iphone unlocked, and they told me to sync it to itunes to get it permently unlocked, well everytime i plug my iphone in it says; it wont work as it needs up dating to 10.6.3, which i have already updated, but still doesnt work, so how can i get my phone unlocked?
