Connecting a Visio tablet to my wrt320n

I have a wrt320n. works good with all my computers. I bought a Visio tablet and I can only hook up to an open network.
I want to be able to use my router with security. Such as wpa/wpa2 or wep. I tried all connections. Only the open network is the only one that I can connect to.This my first tablet and I never hooked one up before. Help please.
Thank You

Let me know the current firmware version on the Router. Well try the following settings:
# Open up the browser and on the address bar type 192.168.1.1 that will open up the Router setup page.
# Lower the MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit) from 1500 to 1400 or less (usually found on your router's main/ basic setup page).
# Then Click on wireless Tab and select the Wireless Network mode to “N-Only” as well as select Channel Width to 20 MHz only and Channel to 6, 9, and 11.
# Then try to secure the network with the security mode to WPA.
Hope these settings will help you.
Second, here is the link for connecting the wireless : http://www.vizio.com/documents/downloads/accessories/VTAB1008/1103QSG_VTAB1008.pdf

  • Connection between android tablet and a wireless printer

    Good day!
Can i install HP deskjet 3050A e All-in-One J611a device software without using the cd hardware for me to be able to connect my android tablet version 4.2.2 and the said printer?

    Hello @GC2,
    Welcome to the HP forums.
I understand that you are interested in connecting your Deskjet 3050A to your Android device.
    I would like to help.
As long as your printer is on the same network as the device, you should only need to install the HP ePrint app.
Getting Started with HP ePrint Mobile Apps
This app will take place of the printer software.

  • How do i connect my Fujitsu Tablet + mac Pro to Apple Cinema Display 23'?

    Dear Mac users
thanks in advance for your help.
    I currently own:
    • Fujitsu T 4220 (tablet) – Mobile Intel 965 Express – 60 Hertz – goes up to 1680*1050 (guess SXGA) – (it has the following other supported resolutions: 1400*1050, 1280*1024, 1280*768, 1280*720, 1024*768, and 800*600)
    • Mac Pro
    • Apple Cinema Display 23’
What I would like to do is, please refer to the jpeg posted on http://www.flickr.com/photos/34831802@N06/3234336204/, connect – at the same time – my tablet pc and my Mac Pro to the 23' Apple Cinema Display and switch (when I need) from tablet to MacPro using the same 23’ ACD. Top would be to be able to switch for one to the other while they’re both switched on. Usually on 2 pc’s with vga I’d use a switch A → B (in the jpeg it would be I → E) with a selector.
Have been reading different posts such as: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=8000641&#8000641 or http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=6530475&#6530475 or
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=7417258&#7417258
+ others on the net and have (hopefully) understood that:
    a) from Vga to Dvi I need a converter such as Geffen’s or similar
    b) the problem with ACD 23’ is that it has only 3 resolutions: 1024*640, 1280*800 or 1920*1200
In the attached image I guessed a connection in order to connect – at the same time – both the machines to the 23’ ACD:
    1) my fujitsu tablet (i in the image) has to be connected, with a Vga cable (h), to the Vga → Dvi converter (g).
    2) from the Vga → Dvi converter (g) I need to connecto to the Dvi switch (c)
    3) easier is connecting the Mac Pro (e), since I only need a Dvi cable (d) to connecto to the Dvi switch (c)
    4) the Dvi switch (c) will then be connected to the 23’ ACD with a Dvi cable
    Now, my questions are:
    a) is the solution described above (Vga cable (h) to the Vga → Dvi converter (g)) a good solution or should I use, instead, a docking statione that comes with a Fujitsu Port Replicator (FPCPR65) which has a 1 x DVI-D port?
    b) Given the 3 resolution accepted by the 23’ ACD (1024*640, 1280*800 or 1920*1200), I do not understand if I can use my tablet through a Vga to Dvi Converter and at which resolution (my tablet has the following other supported resolutions: 1680*1050, 1400*1050, 1280*1024, 1280*768, 1280*720, 1024*768, and 800*600).
    c) Is there a way, also using an external video card or converter, to bring my resolution from 1680*1050 to 1920*1200? (the 16:10 ratio is in fact the same = WXGA (1280x800), WXGA+ (1440x900), WSXGA+ (1680x1050), WUXGA (1920x1200)
    d) Talking about Vga → Dvi converter (g), am aware of the gefen product. Can you please list some others that might be good as well?
    e) And how about the DVI switch? Any will work? Any particular suggestion?
Thank you very much for your help.
If you have any other suggestion, please let me know.
    Regards,
    Emil

    Noone to help me?

  • Can i connect my android tablet to my mac?

i would like to know if i can connect my android based tablet to my mac mini and install digital copy movies via itunes.

If your carrier and your service in your area is 4G or 4G LTE,
you would be better off connecting either directly via USB
or create a private WiFi network between the Mini and the
iPhone.  Bluetooth data rates will be much slower than 4G LTE
and usually lower than the 4G.  If service is only 3G, there will
    probably not be much difference.
BTW, you will need to have "tethering" as an option with your
    service plan.

  • Toshiba LCD 40G300 television won't stay shut off after connecting to my tablet

I have an ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T. I connect my tablet to my television by using the HDMI port on the television. This action works completely fine. When I disconnect my tablet from the television and attempt to turn off my television, the television turns off momentarily and then turns back on. The only way that I have found to correct this is to unplug my television. This apparently allows the television to reset itself and thus I'm able to shut off the television and have it stay off. Please advise as to what I can do so that I don't have to continue to unplug my television to shut it off.
    Thanks!

Does this happen only after using it with the tablet? Do any other devices have this effect?
What happens if you turn off the TV first and then unplug the tablet?

  • HDR-CX330 won't connect to Xperia tablet after Android Lollipop update

Hello, Yesterday our Xperia tablet received an upgrade to Lollipop, and now I can no longer maintain a connection to the camera. It momentarily connects, but disconnects almost immediately. I tried (at the camera's suggestion) changing the password, but that didn't resolve the problem. The camera also suggested there was a second device connected. But the 2nd device was the tablet itself! Any ideas on how to fix this? This is a company camera that gets used regularly, and I need to get it working again!

    Hello,
MitchelleC said:"If the tablet is set to connect to your Home network automatically, this may intrude connection of the camera and tablet. Same with the Mobile Data connection. Turn the setting off and forget all networks that are set to Connect automatically before reconnecting both devices again."
I think you're on the right track with this, and did have the camera "forget" the network and then re-join. (Can't find where to tell either the cam or the tablet to connect automatically.)
I HAVE been able to establish a reliable (I think) connection using Wi-Fi , but when I look at Xperia's network info in Settings, I do see an authentication error AFTER I have disconnected, so I don't know at what point the authentication error is coming up.
All these months I've been repeatedly doing what worked, without really paying attention to HOW it was working, so I'm a little non-plussed to have just this weekend learned that all this NFC connection stuff I struggled through last year was apparently unnecessary! And from today's efforts I see that NFC doesn't even seem to work unless WiFi is turned on. So either 1) I'm missing something right in front of my face, 2) there's a hidden control I'm not finding (like when I couldn't get the MP4 files off the camera because the ability to view them was off by default and well-hidden in the Settings), or 3) WiFi is necessary for NFC, in which case I really don't see the usefulness of NFC.
Bottom line: I *think* I have a stable connection now, but uncertain as to why it's working. So problem potentially solved.
Because I'm not even certain I've been connecting with NFC or not after all this time, I would appreciate if someone could fill in some of the blanks - or at least say whether or not it all seems normal except some weird connection issue - as I'm always looking to learn and better understand how things work.

  • Trying to connect my new tablet

Just received my new tablet and trying to connect to the wifi via my BT hub3 alongside.  Been through the settings process and chosen my hub 3 on the listing.  Each time it tries to connect it keeps coming up with "Authentication problem" and will not connect.  Just say's Saved, Secured with WPA/WPA2.  Have i missed something like entering my my Hub3 wireless key or PIN but i do not know how to get back to the screen in which to enter such information.
As you will have guessed I am new to this tablet lark.

  • Connecting Acer Iconia tablet tp BT BB

Just bought an Acer Iconia tablet but can't connect to BT homeHub 2.   Tablet says hub is disabled even though my Acer laptop is connected and working at the same time.  Icon on the tablet wireless settings window shows a padlock suggesting the hub is locked against access by other devices.
Tablet works on an O2 hub with no problem.   Any suggestions?

Hi silversurfer99, Welcome to the Forums
Have you ever been into your Homehub to change any of the wireless setttings?
If not, you may want to reset your homehub and try again.
If that doesn't work, you can gain access to your Homehub's interface by typing in 192.168.1.254 into your browser (from a device connected to the hub). From there you can check your wireless settings and alter them according to how you want your security (The best is WPA2). You can also change your password through this menu.
Sometimes devices are temperamental with what Wireless Channel they are on - You may want to switch this around and see if your device connects.
The padlock you are seeing usually means the hub's wireless is passworded, are you sure this isn't the case?
    I hope this helps.

  • Sharepoint files (xlsx) connection with VISIO

Hi, I have a problem with VISIO. I can't connect Excel file from SharePoint with VISIO.
I have all files in one folder (visio - vsdx and excel - xlsx) on the SharePoint
and I see excel file in VISIO and I can choose it.
But when I try to connect excel file with VISIO, I see error 80004005
But I don't know why. I can edit excel file one the SharePoint.
In the past someone switched on encryption mode in SharePoint on the folder, where I have files.
Now the option is disabled and still not work

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to connect Excel file from SharePoint with Visio.
Visio Services uses the diagram viewer's SharePoint Server credentials to connect to an .xlsx Excel workbook. For the authentication operation to succeed, the following conditions must be met:
Excel Services must be provisioned correctly and configured on the SharePoint farm.
The workbook must be hosted on the same farm as the diagram.
The diagram viewer must have at least "read" permissions to the Excel workbook

  • SharePoint 2010 Connectivity to Visio Professional 2010

    Dear All,
We have a requirement in our organization, to link visio data with SharePoint List. There is an existing visio containing more than 300 boxes(each containing 10 properties) which has to be linked with corresponding SharePoint List. As per our understanding
this is possible using Visio 2010 premium. Our IT security has only Visio 2010
professional listed as an authorized software and
NOT Visio 2010premium. Could you please let me know if the functionality we are looking for can also be achieved with Visio 2010
    professional.
    Thank you,
Note - Adding Visio 2010 premium in the IT security list is not possible right now.

datalinking is possible with v2007, v2010, and v2013 professional versions and above. v2010 Premium (only one time thankfully) was a MS attempt to place BPM into a separate diagramming product.

Can not get my Sungale Tablet to connect to wifi.

You need to get your wireless settings first. Get the SSID (wireless network name) and security key (password) for your network. Are you using a Linksys router? Follow these instructions to retrieve your wireless network's info: Checking the Linksys router’s wireless settings. Then on your tablet, go to Wifi under Settings. Select your network and type in the password. If your tablet is an Android, here's how: Connecting your Android™ tablet to your wireless network.

  • Visio Database Wizard fails - ODBC connection to MS SQL

When I try to create an ODBC connection in Visio's 2010's Database wizard I get the error: "Cannot set the database context information. Additional error information:ODBC Error: s1009. Database cxweba does not exist."
Note that the database name is cxwebapp_bkk. I get the same error if I connect to any database on that server, and it always truncates the name in the error message (if that is a hint to the error).
Using Visio 2013, after connecting to the database: when I select the database object I get the error message:  "The selected table has only one field or contains no definition information. The Database Wizard requires a minimum of one key field
    and one additional data field."
I have this problem using both SQL Server driver (6.02.9200.116384 and SQL Server Native Client 11.0 (2011.1102.2100.60).
I do not have this problem connecting to a MYSQL database with either version of Visio, nor do I have this problem when I link link to the same SQL database in a drawing and link shapes in that drawing using the "Link Data to Shapes" under the
    Data tab.

    Hello,
What's the version of the SQL Server instance you connect to? It seems that the Database Wizard in Visio 2010 not work well with the Microsoft SQL Server ODBC driver. Did you try to use the Generic OLEDB Provider for SQL Server?
