    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • How do I connect my HP 7 1800 (Mesquite) Tablet to my Canon MP495 wireless printer?

I have a new HP 7 1800 tablet and want to print to my Canon MP495 wireless printer.  I already have other
PC's and laptops using the wireless printing, but don't know how to get my Tablet set up for the wireless printing.
Should I direct connect from my printer to the tablet to make the initial set up? Or, is there an app I'm not finding on the Canon site for this purpose?   I'd appreciate any help.

    Hi JAC63!
Welcome to the Canon Forums! If your tablet is an Android device, you should be able to find the app by going to  http://bit.ly/CanonMobileApps
That's where we keep all of our mobile apps. Depending on your needs and printer model will determine the app  you'll download! If you have other questions, just let us know!

  • Thinkpad 8 & 10 (Win 8.1) - cannot connect to Win 7 PC

    Hi
I have both tablets with Windows 8 on and I am unable to plug the USB cable into the tablet and then plug it into a PC and see the tablet in win 7 PC windows explorer list
I am a technical person so what am I missing ?
Do I actually need to buy a specific USB Datalink transfer cable - as the cables supplied with the tablets are not working when I try and connect to a PC, absolutely nothing happens - not even a searching for device drivers message when you connect them up on the win 7 PC?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Your tablets are full Windows PC devices, not Smartphones or other slave devices. If you want to connect two "host" USB devices together, you'll need a special USB cable to connect your tablet to a desktop or laptop.
It would be far simpler to share data via your local network, surely? E.g. use Homegroup.

  • Connect host win 8.1 pro to vritual domain

    Hi,
on my laptop I am running Win 8.1 pro (machine_1)
    using Hyper-v I created 3 (gen2) VM running Win2012 servers (DC,node1 node2  they  use Internal Virtual Switch)
1.DC is domain controler, I created domain AG and added node1 and onde2 to domain
2.SQL2012  installed as failover cluster on node1 and noode2 (SQLClusterA)
    Question
How from machine_1 I can connect to SQLClusterA (in another words how make my virtual domain to be visible for machine_1)?
    Thank you

When you created an internal virtual switch, you should have been presented with a virtual NIC on the host.  Configure that virtual NIC with the IP addressing scheme you used for your virtual domain.  Have the DNS server for that NIC point to
the DC.  Do not try to put a default gateway on that virtual NIC - it's not needed because all traffic will be on the single subnet.  Besides, it would screw up your regular access on your host.

  • IPod not connecting to Win 7 PC with iTunes v10

OK, deep breath, because I'm really annoyed.
IPod nano 3rd gen ran fine on win 7 PC with iTunes v9. Upgraded to itunes v10 and now the ipod & itunes refuse to communicate with each other. I've spent the last 2 days uninstalling, reloading refreshing various drivers yet I'm no further forward.
I've run through these 2 helpfiles in detail: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538 & http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2292 with no success.
With the ipod connected Win 7 device manager has the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver under the USB section & shows Apple Ipod USB Device under the Disk Drives section. There is no ipod drive listed in 'my computer' however there is a device called 'apple mobile device USB driver' in the Devices & Printers directory. I've loaded, refreshed, reset, uninstalled and re-installed every driver I can think of. I've even tried going back to itunes v9 but I keep getting an error sying ITunes Library.itl is a newer file which stops the install.
With the ipod connected the ipod displays the 'connected - eject before disconnecting' message. Battery charging via the cable is working & I've tried different USB ports & cables. I've even reset the ipod 2 by pressing and holding the Play/Pause and Menu buttons simultaneously until the Apple/iPod logo appears.
So, bhas anyone any serious help to offer before I finally lose my temper with this current state of affairs?

I thought the next step was to try it on another computer. still the same..
so I tried it with a diffrent operating system-Still did the same.
I think I have a bad ipod. back to the store it goes

  • TS1398 I am trying to connect an IPod Touch to a Verizon MiFi at home.  I have connected a computer, Nooks, and a tablet to this WiFi with a password and the IPod says it is unable to join.  Help!

I am trying to connect an IPod Touch to my Verizon MiFi Hotspot.  It has a password.  I have set up a computer, a tablet, and 2 nooks to this MiFi but can't get the IPod to connect to any network that has a password. Please help!

There are other things to try.
Turn WiFi off on the iPad, restart it and then turn WiFi on again.
Reset the network settings on the iPad. Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings, that makes you have to start all over again.

  • Connect mac - win XP via internet

    Hello,
sorry if this has been answered, but I don't know how to find the information I want.
Is there any possibility how can I connect from my MacBook Pro with Snow Leopard to my parent's HDD in PC with Win XP via internet?
Can you please give me an advice or send a link or so...
    Thanks
P.S.: I'm just average user, so if there is some easy solution, I'd prefer the easiest one
    Message was edited by: jakudo

Not sure if this will satisfy your requirement - but LogMeIn.com will allow you to CONTROL your parent's PC without them being there (if it's configured as such). That would at least allow you to connect to their computer and ftp files to/from your computer (if you expose an ftp server to the internet), or to some other file sharing site that you could sync up with.

  • Can't create Network Stream connections between Win and RT

In the attached example, why can't I get all four links to connect without errors? Here's a representative example of the result I'm getting:
    Attachments:
    network_stream_test.zip ‏18 KB

    Hi Bob -
Yes, one pair of the streams failed to connect. That's what I'm asking about. The timeout is more than enough for them to connect if they will, as evidenced by the pair that did successfully make a connection. (I've also used Network Streams in a couple of applications already, and even across subnets they normally connect within 1 second, so a 10 second timeout isn't an issue here.)
Yep, I'm aware of the Context Name. But as the Network Streams whitepaper says, and as you reiterated, the default context is assumed when it's ommitted from the URL. That's why one pair of the stream was able to connect in my screenshot. And I'm running my example  in the dev environment anyway, so contexts shouldn't be necessary in the URL at all.
If you like, you can grab the example I attached and run it yourself to help me investigate. Do all the endpoints connect successfully on your Win/RT setup?
On a side note, can anyone tell me how to query the current VI's context? I'm certain there's a Server or Scripting node somewhere that does it, but I can't find it at the moment...

  • RDP Client 8.0 on Mac OS X with RD Gateway connecting to Win 2012 R2 fails

I have this issue, we've done a lot of investigation into this.
    We have the following cenario:
Win 2012 R2 configured as RD Gateway and RD Web Access, public IP with HTTPS, in DMZ, valid certificate.
Win 2012 R2 configured as RD Connection Broker, private IP
2 X Win 2012 R2 configured as RD Session Hosts, private IPO
On Windows PCs everything works fine. Mac connected to the internal LAN works fine to, but then it does not use the RD Gateway.
On Mac connected to the Internet we get this error, that I should specify a fqdn-name or use an IP address. The name is FQDN, tried the IP also.
    Here's the log extract:

    Hi
We have changed our setup so that the role RD Connection Broker is installed on the same Win 2012 R2 server as the RD Gateway. So the RD CB can be reached with a public IP.
    Unfortunately there's no difference.
    Here's the log:
