Connecting Blackberry to Smartwatch

Hey guys I got the Martian smart watch. The watch requires you to download an app for any device to pair properly to it. I downloaded the app successfully but then it requires you to go to the accessibility settings and turn the accessibility to on for the martian smart watch, so when you get a text, your watch can tell you that information. However the blackberry doesn't seem to have this option. I have an android phone, I downloaded the app and was successfully able to pair it to the the android phone and then when I went to accessibility, the option for the watch to be accessible was right there and I was able to successfully pair the two devices. The blackberry however doesn't have this option in its accessibility and i'm curious to know where in settings or if at all I can get the blackberry to allow information coming into the phone to also go to the watch.
So just to recap: The blackberry and the watch are paired and connected. On the watch it has a options like Camera and the blackberry responds when I select the option. However when my Blackberry gets texts, emails or calls, the watch doesn't notify me because I can't seem to find the accessibility option to allow it to.
Thanks

Looking at this page seems to have left BlackBerry out so I suggest you cick the Support option and go to their forum or create a ticket as there seems no way to enable what you want.

  • Cannot connect Blackberry Playbook

I just bought a Jetpack 4620 this weekend and have connected laptops, BB phone, and Kindle to the MiFi device but cannot connect the Playbook.  I have tried every wireless key type without success.  I can see the increased activity on the Jetpack as it tries to connect but either times out, returns to the device listing page, or asks to reenter the password.  I have tried saving the connection and deleting the saved connection.  No dice.  Any ideas?

  • Bluetooth Set Up But Not Connected Blackberry vCards

Problem: I'm trying to send vCards to my new Blackberry Pearl 8120, but cannot get the mac to send the file to the Bluetooth phone.
    1. Bluetooth connectivity IS turned on in Sharing Preferences.
    2. When I run "Set Up Bluetooth Device" it finds the phone, no problem.
But in Bluetooth preferences it lists the phone as "Discoverable" and "Paired" but "not connected."
The only time I've gotten a green light for "connected" is when the set-up was running.
    Help!
How do I send vCards to the phone - I DO NOT want to type all this stuff over again, not, in this day and age, should I have to.
Seriously - I've seen other posts on similar subjects all unanswered - Mac Support, where are you?

Attached is a list of HP Airprint enabled printers.  Your printer is not on this list.  If it is wireless, you can purchase an App from the App Store, which will allow you to print.  Printopia and Print Central are two which are recommended, both cost about $9 (US).

  • Connecting Blackberry 7520 to my MacBook Pro

My Blackberry and MacBook say they are paired but when I try to connect it says Can not open Communication device. When I open the Internet icon it says status:idle. Do I need to download anything?
    Thanks

You can't connect through bluetooth (even though you can pair). You'll need a USB wire connection.
To sync you'll neet to download "Pocketmac" for Blackberry (free) from Blackberry

you should be good to go

  • Connecting Blackberry Curve to iBook via Bluetooth

I downloaded Pocketmac and paired my Curve and iBook. However, when it comes to syncing them through Pocketmac SyncManager, I get this:
03:42:32.362 Unable to connect to BlackBerry (error 1); skipping.
In the Bluetooth System Preferences, I've configured the Curve and it reads:
    Paired: Yes
    Configured: Yes
    Connected: No
It seems my computer can't find the Blackberry device, even though they are paired and discoverable.
Can anyone tell me what I need to look into?
    Thanks much!
    JP

    Hi,
If I am not mistaken, BB Curve can be synced through PocketMac using a USB Cable only.
I am not sure if 'MissingSync' supports sync over BT...

  • Error message when connecting blackberry

    Hi
when I connect by blackberry device to my Mac to sync it says that there was "MAC OS can't repair the disk "BLACKBERRY"
How do I fix this?  (I make sure I eject the device before I disconnect)
    Thanks,
    Fi

Were ever able to connect your phone and have it seen and sync? Have you installed and drivers from the Blackberry website or your providers website?
If youy haven't installed any drivers and this is the first time connection it see if there are any drivers for OS X for the Blackberry.
Oh yeah try rebooting you Mac.

  • Wireless Sync keeps being disabled when connecting Blackberry 8900 to DM 6.0.1

Our MD has a Blackberry 8900 on Vodafone (UK), which is exhibiting very odd behaviour when he connects it via USB to Desktop Manager 6.0.1 on Windows 7 64-bit.
Despite enabling Wireless Calendar Sync on the device (and indeed it working), the moment it is connected to DM it shows as disabled and when disconnecting the device it is now disabled on the debice too.  In additoin, he then can't accept meeting requests on the BB until a hard (battery removed) reboot.
    I've already tried the following:
    - wiping the handheld and re-running Enterprise Activiation.
    - complete uninstall of the desktop software and associated registry entries and files (as per RIM KB)
It also worth nothing that we use a Hosted Exchange / BES proivder (Cobweb), but they say they have not experienced this issue before and that we are trying to sync against an Exchange 2007 mailbox calendar accessed via Outlook 2003.
Any ideas or thoughts most welcome as I've hit the proverbial brick wall.  Thanks,
    -David

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
We have received word that if you are
experiencing this issue that you need to contact your carrier for formal
support and escalation to RIM. I suggest you be gentle yet firm with
them...sometimes, the front line support at carriers doesn't always
understand how the process works. If they tell you that you need to
contact RIM, tell them that's exactly what you are doing...and it is
their (your carrier) responsibility to escalate your case into RIM.
    Good luck!

  • Connect Blackberry Z10-Smartphone to handsfree equipment (Bury CC 9068)

    Hi,
I want to connect my Blackberry Z10-Smartphone to my handsfree equipment (Bury CC 9068) in my car. I tried to download the 'Bury CC 9068 App' from the Blackberry App world, but I couldn't download it. It was said that it isn't available for the phone. Although it's said on the Bury-homepage that the phone is compatible to the Bury cc 9068.
The normal Bluetooth-connection doesn't work either. What can I do??

  • Trying to doa software update, and it keeps saying connect blackberry device. when it is connected?

    hi guys,
please help me if you can. i have a brand new BB 9300, and from day 1 i had a problem with it, i thought it was the battery as it would just switch off, it wouldnt even go to the red part of the battery life as normal, it would just turn itself off. so i thought i had a faulty battery. and went an brought a new one. the same thing was happening with this battery, infact it was worse, it wouldnt charge, then the phone wouldnt switch on (by this time i am pulling my hair out)
iv heard from a few people that it could be a software problem, so here i am trying to update my software. but when i open the BB desktop software, it tells me to connect my bb device, and it is connected. its charging from my pc that light is on, so it is def connected but the bb desktop is telling me it isnt????/
    ANY ADVICE PLEASE GUYS.
    thanks

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
It sounds like your battery has fully depleted...and therefore your BB cannot boot up. And until your BB boots up, it cannot communicate with the Desktop Software.
Please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB):
With the battery inside, connect your BB to the wall charger
Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
    Remove the battery
    Wait 15 minutes
    Insert the battery
Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
This has been known to "kick start" some BBs.
It is also possible that your battery or BB has experienced a problem...to test, this sequence is needed:
Obtain an known good and already fully charged additional battery...use it in your BB and see what happens
Obtain access to a known good and identical BB...use your battery in it and see what happens
The results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem. I know you say you bought a new battery, but please understand that "new" and "known good" are not necessarily the same thing. The best method is to find someone with an identical BB that has no issues...trade batteries with them and see what happens. If it turns out that your BB simply will not function correctly with any battery, then it is likely a hardware issue with the BB itself, for which no amount of internet-distance diagnostics nor OS/software solutions can help.
Good luck and let us know!

  • Cannot connect BlackBerry via USB

I'm a newbie here and hoping someone can help.
I just inherited a Curve 8320 and am trying to install Desktop Manager on my Dell Inspiron laptop.
I downloaded all the software, but when I tried to install Desktop Manager, I got this message: Before you begin, verify that your current Blackberry device is connected to your computer.
Easy enough, I plug it in via the USB. The BB gets a pop-up: USB charging current is not sufficient. Verify that your handheld is connected to a powered USB charging source and that the proper USB driver is installed.
The BB is fully charged, so it's not a charging issue. I tried everything. Downloading the driver separately (get a message it's already installed), unplugging all other devices. Nothing works.  I cannot get beyond that message with Desktop Manager.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling.. then I tried installing an earlier software version... tried six different ports and three different USB cords.  Nothing works.  I always get the message about the charging current not sufficient and the computer does not recognize the BlackBerry.
I've used all sorts of external devices - ipods, hard drives, cameras, phones - with my computer and never had a problem until now. I just can't get this BlackBerry to work.
If anyone has any suggestions, I'd appreciate it.  I've been at this for hours and I'm starting to think there's an iPhone in my future.
    Thanks!

And a Battery Pull may help as well:
    1. Remove the battery while phone is turned on
    2. Wait a few seconds before inserting it again
    3. Allow the long boot up process to finish (takes a few minutes usually)
This clears most software issues that occur on blackberries from time to time. You could also use Quickpull, a free app that simulates a battery pull without physically removing the battery: http://store.berryreview.com/product.asp?id=27660&n=QuickPull-Free
A battery pull reclaims memory lost during application usage and clears minor software errors that creep in over time. The blackberry runs an OS just like your PC runs windows and the battery pull is the equivalent of a reboot/restart on your computer.
