Connecting ipad to windows PC

when I conenct it says not charging and also is not visualizing ipad in itunes.
I am using original cable which works if I charge ipad with adapter.
What I have to do ?

A lot of computers (especially older ones) generally do not provide enough power to their USB ports to charge the iPad at a sufficient rate - it may still be charging slowly, and should be a bit quicker if the iPad's screen is off (if you leave it for a while and then disconnect it from your computer you may find that it's battery percentage has gone up). The wall charger is usually the most efficient way to charge the iPad.

Connect ipad to windows

I have i-tunes instaled on my pc and its working well with my IPHONE 4S... Today I tried to connect my IPAD MINI to apdate software but, in first of all, my windows cannot connect the IPAD... Then, iTunes show me a message saying that cannot connect to IPAD because the time for doing that has expired..
Any help??

Try giving your iPad a reset. sometimes the port gets turned off and a reset can turn it back on. Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. When you see the silver apple, let go and let it reboot and try again.
If that doesn't work, check the cable. If the cable isn't plugged in right or all the way it can hinder the connection.
Try a different USB port.
A bit more extreme but not as bad as it sounds, go into the control panel, uninstall itunes, apple mobile device service, apple application support. Then redownload and reinstall iTunes and try again.

When connecting iPad to Windows cpu, it also reads that my iPhone is connected when it is not.

I am not sure why this is happening. I have to repeatedly click the eject button in iTunes for the iPhone when I have my iPad plugged in. I have no idea why it is reading like that. Is this a problem? Known issue? Should I be concerned about it?

Try disconnecting your iPad from the computer and run iTunes. See if both the iPad and iPhone are visible under DEVICES.
If you are running the lates versions of iOS and iTunes, you may have WiFi syncing capability. It may also depend on running the latest operating system on the computer.

Are you using DHCP to allocate IP addresses via your router or Static IP allocation?
You may have an IP conflict in your network.
Check on your various network configuration parameters in your iPad, PC and WiFi router.

I'm finding that if my iPad is left connected to my Windows XP laptop overnight (following a sync) that in the morning it's battery is fully charged. However, when I initially connect it and sync it the iPad clearly says 'Not Charging' in the top of the display. Further more, I've read it should not charge while connected to a Windows laptop and that I need to use the included power adapter.
Any idea what may be happening here?

From what I've heard, there's typically not enough juice coming from some standard USB ports to charge the iPad while it's turned on. But when the screen is off, then the USB port may be able to charge it although at a much slower rate than the AC plug-in charger.

Okay, then what you will need to do is plug your ipad back into your friends computer; you may have to sync it with his computer, but thats okay. When it is plugged in, click the update button. This will take about an hour, maybe more if your friend has slow internet. Once it is updated, reset your ipad. When your ipad is reset, sign into your apple id. You can now use a feature called icloud (brand new in ios 5) to download all of your apps and music you purchased back to your ipad. You may lose some things if they were not purchased from apple, but is is better than not being able to use it at all (I think).
If you already have ios5, then this is unnecessary (it says you are using an ipad running ios4)

Your iMac has one OSX version to early to run the required iTunes. Go to the online Apple Store and search for OSX 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) and then check the system requirement to see if your iMac can run snow Leopard. If it can purchase the upgrade and install it on your computer.
Once you install Snow Leopard you might consider upgrading further to Mountain Lion as that integrates better with iOS devices.

After weeks of testing, i found the solution of my question. It´s quiet simply!!
1º iPhone (3G Internet acess) connected to Mac mini by USB or BlueTooth or WiFi.
2ª in Mac mini must be activated in "Preferencias", "Compartir", the option "Compartir Internet",
     "Compartir Conexión desde":   iPhone USB or Bluetooth PAN
     "Con otros Ordenadores vía": Ethernet
3º Ethernet cable must be connected from Mac mini to Time Capsule !!
4º In Time Capsule "Internet": connect by: DHCP
                             "Network": bridged
Nothing more!!! Sooooo simply!!
After this, Windows XP SP3 connect without problem over TC´s WiFi or Ethernet to the Internet!
Also other Devices like IPad, or other iPhone, etc.
Of course it can be a created a WiFi connection (PPP) between the iPhone and the Mac
and it´s working to.
But ALWAYS, by changing the connection mode, must be changed the Thethering mode.
In- and Out-Going!
