Connecting iPhone 3G to Windows Vista laptop

Is there a way I can connect my iPhone to my laptop via bluetooth? I have tried directly-no go also have tried a bluetooth dongle (2.7) but again, no go..
I have successfully upgraded my iPhone to iOS4

You can't do it, as tethering is not supported on the iPhone at this time. Perhaps in a future version of the iPhone software it will be available, but until then you'll just have to wait and see.

Difficulty connecting Mac Mini and Windows Vista laptop

I have a Windows Vista laptop. I have been connecting to the Internet via a wireless DSL router. I just purchased a Mac Mini and want to hardwire the Mac Mini to the router and also create a home newtork where the Mac Mini can transfer files to and from the Vista laptop and vice versa.
What is the best way to do this? Could you please provide detailed information as well? I don't have a lot of experience with computers or networking.

What you're wanting to do is very possible and is done often. However, please search Apple's website or Google first or search this forum for answers to your question. They've been asked and answered multiple times.
If you have problems with some of the steps then definitely post back and folks in this forum will be glad to help you get over those hurdles. We're users just like you but our time and efforts aren't unlimited.

I have an airport express that i am using for my wifi network to include iphone 4 ipad2 windows vista laptop and a hp eprint printer. My internet is coming from my iphone 4 via peronal hotspot.

The problem is i only am able to be on one or the other, at first i was able to be on internet and connected to wifi network thus being able to surf and print how do i need to fix this?

You are asking several different questions. If you need to store your photos, music, and movies on an external volume, you certainly can. Any externally connected hard disk drive will work, connected either directly to your Mac or to your Time Capsule as a shared volume.
You should not rely upon using that as a backup device though. Although you certainly may use it for both purposes, it is a better idea to have dedicated backup devices for a variety of reasons not limited to redundancy. You would not want to simultaneously lose all your pictures as well as your backup. If they are all on the same device, that could happen. Furthermore, a backup cannot back up the volume on which it is running.
As for adding an Extreme or Express, using its LAN port for your iMac, and then enable Internet sharing so you can effectively use the iMac as a "hotspot", you can do that too, but I am unclear on what benefit you believe this arrangement would convey for you.
An Extreme's Guest network is separate from its Main network; that is the reason for having it.

when you switch your hotspot on your phone you will see a user password - when you switch your laptop on and search for your iphone connect and you will be asked for the user password once you enter it and click connect you will link the two devices and they will work together as long as you have a good signal and good data allowance you shouldn't have any issues

the last Firefox update on my Windows Vista laptop quit half way. When I click to resume as it asks in the menu, the downloading update next menu says "connecting to the update server" but it doesn't do a thing.

Connecting a hard-wired Windows Vista machine locks up my Airport Extreme N

I just installed a new Airport Extreme 802.11n.
I have 3 computers...
1. Hard-wired Mac Pro
2. Wifi connected Powerbook
3. Windows Vista machine--works with Wifi, but I can't plug it in without locking up the modem
I'm using DHCP with a comcast connection.
Everything works great until I plug in the Windows Vista machine. This immediately locks up the router and prevents internet access on all hardwired machines (wifi still works). It disappears from the Airport Utility and needs to be unplugged and reset to reappear.
Obviously this has something to do with the IP address assignment and DHCP.
What settings need to be changed so that I can have both my Mac Pro and Windows Vista machine hard-wired?

Just to make sure, your network configuration, with the 802.11n AirPort Extreme Base Station (AEBSn), should look something like the following:
Cable modem > (Ethernet cable) > /[WAN port] AEBS /[LAN port] > (Ethernet cable) > /[Ethernet port] Main computer ... is this correct?
