I doubt that you will find one. I have not heard of BT cameras.

  • How do I resynchronize my iPhone and MacBook Pro bluetooth connection?

I accidentally had my iPhone "forget" my MacBook Pro bluetooth connection, and I need it to reappear to resynchronize. My iPhone shows up as discoverable on my MacBook Pro, but it is not connected. When I have my bluetooth on on my iPhone 4S, the MBP doesn't appear in the list of my bluetooth devices.

You can sync using iTunes  >   iOS: Syncing your data with iTunes  (via USB)
Or wirelessly using iCloud >  Apple - iCloud - All your content on all your devices.

what i mean is i simply wont to connect my iphone to my macbook via bluetooth i was
able to do this with my motorola and transfer songs files ect what i am asking is can
this be done without an internet or tethered connection but a simple bluetooth
connection my mac recognises the phone and my phone recognises the mac but

You only do this through iTunes with a USB connection. Not sure why anyone would want to do this. bluetooth is terribly slow, a tiny fraction of the speed of USB 2

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
    View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then try the action that you're having trouble with again. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.

  • Connect iPhone to Internet via Bluetooth

I have a computer set up sharing ethernet internet connection via bluetooth. How do I connect iPhone to the Internet via bluetooth? (No cellular network, no wifi)

How do I connect iPhone to the Internet via bluetooth? (No cellular network, no wifi)
You cannot. There is no network connection available TO the iPhone over bluetooth. When tethering becomes available, you will be able to tether your laptop using the iPhone as an Internet connection, but not the other way around. The iPhone CAN use wifi for its internet feed though, but not bluetooth. Bluetooth only supports headsets today.

  • Connecting iPhone to MBP via Bluetooth (Sync Contacts)

Does your iPhone connect to your computer via Bluetooth? Mine will not.
I have a new iPhone 3gs and a MBP. The MBP has 10.5.8. Pairing the two is easy enough, once the pass code is typed in to the iPhone a window on the computer says that pairing was successful. The IPhone is listed as a device on the computer as well as the computer is listed as a device on the iPhone.
This is where the problem begins. They will not connect. I have tried everything I can think of including:
Finding and dumping any BT prefs
Wiping the 'devices' from the MBP
Wiping the 'devices' from the iPhone
    Rebooting the MBP
    Rebooting the iPhone
    Re-pair the devices
The iPhone pairs and connects to my BT headset no problem. My old cell phone (Nokia 6555b) pairs and connects to MBP no problem. Bluetooth works on each device, but they will not connect with each other.
All I wanted to do was get my contacts sync'd .... pretty simple typically. After I gave up and hardwired to the computer to sync music, photos, calendars, etc I discovered I could sync contacts as well through iTunes .... BUT .... this does not solve the problem. If I were connecting Apple(s) and Orange(s) then pairing and connecting could understandably be an issue (other party hardware), but this is Apple(s) and Apple(s) .... Apple Mac to Apple iPhone .... a little embarrassing to say the least in regards to how I brag up my Macs.
    Any thoughts please?

The BT on the iPhone is used for wireless headsets and stereo headphones - ie audio listening applications. The new APIs allow apps to use the BT to connect to 3rd party devices for some functionality (though I have not seen a device that has implemented this yet). Regardless, the iPhone does not support any manner of file transfer or sync via BT

  • Connecting iphone and macbook

Is there a way to connect my iphone and macbook pro so I can use my iphone as a modem instead of buying an aircard?

Not currently, there may be the option for "tethering" come 3.0 update but no options so far wait for the 3.0 update and then check with your carrier to make sure that they allow tethering as i understand it's a bit of a sore point in the US don't know if it's the same in Canada but i think "rogers" (is that right) allows tethering for capable handsets. Still a bit of a moot point till 3.0 becomes available to consumers

  • My iPhone 5 does not connect to my Macbook via Bluetooth (this is so frustrating!!)

Ok so i bought my iPhone 5 a couple days ago. So i installed and applications from app store ( on my mac ) which enables me to control my iphone through my mac (via bluetooth). It's very cool when my iphone is docked so i don't need to reach to it every single time. AND. guess what. my iphone refuses to connect to macbook and vice versa.
This is sooo frustrating i'm gonna die.
When i go to the general settings and bluetooth menu, it doesn't even find my macbook. I need to go to the bluetooth menu on mac, set up bluetooth device and then select my iphone. Then, it does pair. BUT it doesn't connect it says:
    Connection Unsuccessful
    "Macbook Pro" is not supported.
And gives me only on option: "Forget Device"
    Any help?

you mentioned you purchased from the mac app store, the only thing I could find is Type2Phone, and that app has some ts'ing steps in its description that match almost exactly what you described /

  • Can´t connect iphone to macbook air  using bluetooth

The bluetooth is on in both devices, they get connected for a few seconds, but then they go "not connected", i´m trying to use airdrop, but nothing i do seems to work.

The iPhone is not designed to pair via Bluetooth with a computer (Mac or Windows) except for personal hotspot and then only if your cellular plan supports it. AirDrop requires that Bluetooth be turned on for both devices but they do not pair. More information:

  • I cant get iphone 4 to connect with my macbook via bluetooth.  IS there a way?

I can connect and pair my ipad to the iphone.  I can pair it to the macbook pro - but when i try to connect the 2 the Iphone tells me it is not supported.  Is there a way - or is this coming in Lion

No, and not coming in Lion.  iPhones don't have the BT profiles for data transfer.  The only BT connection possible between the iPhone and a computer is for tethering/hotspot internet connection.
WiFi data connection is far more reliable and faster.

  • Bluetooth connection iPhone 4-Macbook Pro

    Hi,
I'm not being able to connect my iPhone 4 to my Mac... the computer finds the phone just fine and goes through the pairing process. But when the phone 'finds' the pairing request and asks if I want to pair and I click 'Pair', it tells me that my Mac is unsupported??!!
I don't understand this. My old Sony Ericsson phone paired with my Mac just fine.
    Help please!
    Thanks, p

These are the only supported Bluetooth profiles:

As you can see, file transfer, by Bluetooth, is not supported.

  • Connect iPhone to Mac via Bluetooth

It's taken me a while, but I would like to link my iPhone 5 to my MacBook Pro using Bluetooth. I've paired the devices (supposedly - selecting the Mac in iPhone's Bluetooth list only offers "forget this device" - no settings shown), but when on the Mac I click Bluetooth Browse Devices it shows the iPhone in the list, but then reports "no device found". And if I click "iPhone > connect to network" it reports an error connecting, and "make sure network access is enabled and available on your device."
So where do I enable network access on the iPhone? It's probably very simple, but I've hunted through Settings and can't find anything.
    Thanks!
    Ian

Well, I consider myself a rather advanced user and I gave up on this problem as soon as I encountered it. My iPhone is becoming more and more bothersome. Apple's instructions asking to refer to the phone manual, as if it was unaccessible to them, are a pain as well.
The thing is that Android, with all the variety of phones it handles, got this straight time ago. As a number of other things in which Apple is lagging behind more and more -among the important ones, conection to a folder structure, not to apps' folders.
I don't care about Apple's marketing strategies. The only thing that made me get an iPhone was to use apps (none of them made by Apple, by the way) in connection to my Mac. Now I am ready to move back to Android as soon as a few of those apps make Android versions. And I may as well even if not. I know both systems and, in my opinion, not only the OS but some terminals have been better than Apple's for a while.
The only thing that hooks me to Apple for the time being is OS X, but to be happy with the price of its hardware I want spotless performance. Not public performances of their top executives nor economic performance of their stocks in the stockmarket, but spotless performance of my tools, in case this is not clear, as it seems not to be!

  • Iphone 6 + Macbook 2013 Bluetooth not linking up

I have them on the same network, they're both wireless.
I have tried to pair them but it fails every time, it pairs successfully then disconnects immediately after being paired and it will not connect again unless I forget device but it goes through the same loop as above and never stays connected to each other.
After it disconnects I have tried double clicking my iPhone 6 listing in my Macbook Bluetooth settings and the following message pops up: Network is Disabled. Make sure network access is enabled'.
In my iPhone 6 Bluetooth settings it shows two listings of my Macbook Pro (only one of those can I forget the other is always there without an option to forget it).
When I click on the paired listing or the non paired option I get the following message: Connection Unsuccessful Make sure "Macbook Pro" Is turned on and in range.
    Airplay works fine.
I tried resetting network settings, reboot my modem, router, clearest all my settings in my phone & nothing gets these two to work together correctly.
During this message I did get them to connect but it's never permanent. It works for a few moments then disconnects and I have to try over and over in my phone to connect just to get them to work for a few seconds more.

Just noticed as well, after about 10 minutes, the volume jumps back down again! There is no change I have made in the audio settings on either the phone or speaker and the volume bar on either doesn't move when this happens.
