Connecting k330b to internet, after one botton reboot

Hay People , i got a problem, anyway didnt make a copy of system when first purchase, so i had a problem with the registry, that showed up on one of the cleaning scans, so i told it to fix it after several times it said fixed, but then would not go to any web page, said no data, so long story short, i did a one button restore, it said it would wipe all saved data, etc. i did it, now when i restart win 7 it ask if i want to start safe mode, etc, i just say start normal , it shows win logo, fan runs etc, then blank screen? keys have no effect, so if i start with f2 pushed it comes up  lenovo name on screen, then sign at bottom screen says windows is loadinfg files, the the lenovo rescue system 3.0?? i am stuck from here, if i press the one key it runs for about 6-10 min reloading stuff says at 2 gigs min, but does not recover from there, and if i press the driver button, it will not reload the drivers from the cd i have, so i press the system setup button, and it takes me to network setting or password mangment, press network setting it ask for info that i dont know, like ADSL or LAN  etc any help plz

hi tony,
Welcome to the Forums.
After doing a system recovery via the OneKey Recovery (OKR) feature, it should start first in OOBE (Out of Box Experience) where it ask you to setup Windows for first use. If it doesn't go there, try to perform the OneKey Recovery via the F2 key one more time.
If same issue occur, it's possible that:
1. The OKR image is faulty
2. The HDD might be showing signs of failure as the OKR image is stored on a hidden partition in the hard drive.
I recommend you contact lenovo so that they can send you a recovery disc and/or send someone over to take a look at the system.

• Trouble connecting iMac to internet after Time Machine Reboot

Bear with me here guys.... I recently went to download Aperture onto my Mac but found that I required Mountain Lion, so I purchased it to upgrade from Snow Leopard. Having download the new OS I started the installation and it failed as it appears I have a fault with the Hard Drive; though my Mac gad operated just fine previously. As everytime I restarted my computer it wanted to start installing Mountain Lion but couldn't complete due to HD error; I rebooted via the Snow Leopard CD and loaded my last Time Machine save. I now have the Mountain Lion icon sat on my dock awaiting installation, though after I've had the HD fixed first obviously.
So having just reloaded the OS and rebooted via my Time Machine Backups (For which I use a USB connected Samsung External Drive) my iMac will connect to my wireless network via Airport just fine. Loading the internet via Safari is another matter. It will load the window but will remain blank white with the pinwheel spinning. Eventually I get the message that another computer using the same IP address is already on the network.
Having read the threads on here I have already tried resetting Safari, restarting my Router, I have double checked all the IP adresses of my another connected devices (none hold the same IP address as the iMac) have been round in circles in Network Settings Renewing the DCHP Lease, trying the set the IP address manually, turned everything off and on again and I have spoken with my service provider and they have not been able to tell me any more than the threads on here; and so here I am at a loss now.
Any or advice would be really appreciated.

Just a few more ideas...
Searching the web, I've found some possible fixes, some of which you have probably already tried.
Try connecting directly to the router with an Ethernet cable.
Check your wireless security (you should use WPA2, it's the strongest). Someone could be using your network, so try changing the password and see if that helps (this can be a pain if you have a lot of devices).
Flush the DNS cache:
For Lion and Mountain Lion: Enter the following command into Terminal:
sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder
For Mavericks:
dscacheutil -flushcache;sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder
Update the router firmware if it is out of date. Also, you can reflash with the current firmware, which might help.
Hope some of these help, if not best of luck with getting the fault sorted out.

• A connection was abortively closed after one of the peers sent an rst packet

Hello,
i have a dvr on netwoek that is wok fine. i tried to publish it over internet.
i have tmg with two wan connections(load Balancing) and two internal networks.
i create a server application rule and and but dvr protcols on it.
when i try to open it from outside it's not working. on tmg log it's give me this error:
     A connection was closed because no SYN/ACK reply was received from the server.
also with others dvr i get this error:
a connection was abortively closed after one of the peers sent an rst packet
i tired to read all post on forums but i didn't get a solution for it.
please not that the network rule from internal to external is route and the publish rule is set to make the request is from local host.
so whats the problem?
thanks.

Hi,
Thank you for your post here.
As far as i know, if you would like to publish server located in internal, you need to set the relationship between internal and external as NAT.

• My macbook pro (lion 10.7.2) takes several minutes to connect to the internet after waking from sleep.  Is there any way to make this instant?

The message that comes up when I click on "TomTom Home Install" is "You cannot open Home Install because Power PC applications are no longer supported." Does this mean that the TomTom, which is absolutely vital to my life - well, not literally but you know what I mean - can no longer be used with my MacBook Pro?
What that means is that is can't be used with Lion 10.7.  PowerPC was the chip Apple used up until 2006 when they switched to Intel.  At that point, they created the Rosetta emulator to allow for PPC support for 5 years.  They finally dropped the support with the release of Lion.  It will only work with OS X 10.6 or earlier.  The other option is to purchase a new GPS, which can be had for $100 for a decent one.

Same issue here too.  I will try reinstalling the firmware update.  This has happend to me twice.  The only way to correct the issue was to reboot.

• I cannot connect to the Internet after installation of Windows Vista Ultimate edition.

I cannot connect to the Internet after installation of Windows Vista Ultimate edition. For some odd reason, it seems my ethernet has not yet been installed to my operating system and I do not know how to do that even with the internet, I have the LAN cable hooked up to my computer but I do not know exactly what to do about it. Is there some sort of driver I need to install, or what? How do I do that without the internet?
     This operating system is on a separate partition to my other operating system that is connected to internet already (Windows Vista Premium) that I do not wish to use anymore because of it's corruption. I tell you this because you may know a way of finding the driver files on my previous operating system that I may be able to transfer to the other.

• Problems connecting to the internet after Upgrade from windows 8.1 pro

Cant connect to the internet after upgrading to windows 8.1 pro, what can i do to rectify this problem?
Thanks

Hi,
You can also try to install the older version in compatible mode:
Windows 8.1 Wifi showing "limited" or "No Internet Access"
Solution: revert your network adapter driver back to an older version
http://blogs.technet.com/b/dennis_schnell/archive/2013/08/31/windows-8-1-wifi-showing-quot-limitied-quot-or-quot-no-internet-access-quot.aspx
In addition, disable power management on your network driver:
Open Network and Sharing Center.
Click the Change adapter settings link in the upper left of the navigation pane.
Right click the network connection you want to enable/disable power management support on and click Properties .
Click Configure .
On the Power Management tab, clear the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power check box.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

• Solved: message "You are not connected to the Internet" after idle sleep

Summary: What worked for me was to turn off IPv4 and IPv6 on my unused interface.
The problem was that after my computer had been in sleep mode, Safari would say:
"You are not connected to the Internet."
or "softwareupdate -l" would say:
"This computer’s Internet connection appears to be offline."
Yet Firefox worked OK and traceroute also showed the connection was fine.
Digging deeper (though only later, after I found the command), "scutil -r" indicated a problem with DNS lookup:
$ scutil -r developer.apple.com
Not Reachable
$ scutil -r 17.254.2.129
Reachable
I'm using 10.6.6 on a Mini (model Macmini1,1), which has a wired ethernet connection on en0 and an AirPort on en1. I use the wired connection, but I also configured the AirPort just because, and then turned it off in the network preferences. I use a static (manually-configured) IPv4 address on en0 and DHCP on en1 (when it's up, which is only for experimenting). I don't use IPv6 as such, though I've left it enabled.
I was initially confused, thinking the problem was intermittent, though it's not. I tended to assume that because the display had gone into standby the computer must be sleeping, without checking that the power light was dimming and brightening, indicating sleep mode. Later I found the "pmset -g" command to display the power management settings. Among the settings is:
ttyskeepawake 1
This means that if I had a shell session open in Terminal, which I did quite often when investigating the problem, the computer put itself into idle sleep later than if I didn't have the session open. The times in Energy Saver settings in System Preferences seem not to be very accurate anyway. For instance, with the default computer sleep and display sleep settings of 10 minutes and a shell session open, I've seen it take 17m25s for the display to blank and a further 14m16s for the computer to sleep, for a total of 31m41s.
The problem only occurs after an idle wait. It doesn't occur after a software sleep (entered from the Sleep entry in the Apple menu or using the keyboard shortcut) or after pressing the power button momentarily.
One way I found to fix the problem was to turn the AirPort on and then off again through Network Preferences (or the menu bar item). Later I found that disconnecting and reconnecting the ethernet cable also fixed the problem. I hoped to find a better way.
What led me to this halfway house solution was noticing that if I turned the AirPort on and then off again, entries for en1 still remained in the routing table. These entries were for IPv6 link-local and multicast networks, as in this edited output from "netstat -nr":
Internet6:
Destination Gateway Flags Netif Expire
::1 ::1 UH lo0
fe80::%lo0/64 fe80::1%lo0 Uc lo0
fe80::1%lo0 link#1 UHL lo0
fe80::%en0/64 link#4 UC en0
fe80::216:cbff:fexx:xxxx%en0 0:16:cb:xx:xx:xx UHL lo0
fe80::%en1/64 link#6 UC en1
ff01::/32 ::1 Um lo0
ff02::/32 ::1 UmC lo0
ff02::/32 link#4 UmC en0
ff02::/32 link#6 UmC en1
Even with the AirPort switched off, ifconfig showed it as being up:
en1: flags=8863<UP,BROADCAST,SMART,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
ether 00:17:f2:xx:xx:xx
media: autoselect (<unknown type>)
status: inactive
I don't know if these observations are relevant, but anyway they led me to the solution (well, workaround). The way I finally fixed the problem was as follows.
1. Create a new location in Network Preferences. (This isn't strictly necessary, but it allowed me to keep the AirPort configuration (including my wireless password) intact in the default Automatic location.)
* Click on the Location pull-down
* Click Edit Locations...
* Click +
* Enter new location name (I called mine Wired-static)
2. Configure the Ethernet interface with its static address. (If using DHCP, I'd have skipped this step as DHCP is the default.)
3. Go to the AirPort configuration (even though it's shown as Off).
* Click on Advanced
* Click on TCP/IP
* Select Off for both IPv4 and IPv6
4. After clicking Apply in Network Preferences, a new "Location" item appears in the Apple menu between "Dock" and "Recent Items". Select the new location. This setting sticks across boots.
I hope this helps anyone else in a similar situation. Maybe if you use wireless it would help to turn off IPv4 and IPv6 on the Ethernet interface?

Try:
- A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset Network Settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- DId the iPod ever successfully connect to the network?
- Does the iPod successfully connect to other networks?

- When I change the network to connect, same problem even if I turn off the mac.

• My iPad 2 will no longer connect to the internet after iOS 6 update

HELP!! My iPad doesny connect tot the internet anymore. I down loaded iOS 6 today (9/19/12) and now it doesnt connect tot the internet anymore.

Hello dchoffa,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!
I would start with this troubleshooting from the article named:
iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1398
Be sure you're in range of your Wi-Fi router (access point).
Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi off and on. If your W-Fi setting is dimmed, follow these steps.
Confirm that your Wi-Fi router and cable or DSL modem are connected to power, turned on, and connected to the Internet. If not, refer to your network administrator or Internet service provider (ISP) for assistance.
Restart your iOS device.
Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and locate the Wi-Fi network to which you're connected.
Tap and Forget this Network.
Try to connect to your desired Wi-Fi network.
Note: You may need to enter your Wi-Fi password again if your network requires one.
Turn your Wi-Fi router off and on2. If your ISP also provides cable or phone service, check with them before attempting this step to avoid interruption of service.
Update your device to the latest version of software.
Update your Wi-Fi router to the latest firmware2. For AirPort Base Stations, install updates using the AirPort Utility.
If the above troubleshooting does not resolve the issue, I would next try the troubleshooting in one of the other sections down toward the bottom that fits your scenario.

• TV no longer connects to wireless internet after installation of Airport Time Capsule

TV no longer connects to wireless Wi-Fi internet after installation of AirPort Time Capsule.

I am having a similar problem with a new TIme Capsule. The wifi on the Time Capsule was working fine for months with all devices, iPhone 4s, iPad Air, iMac Air, Mac mini, and vizio smart TVs.  After a recent software update the Time capsule wifi no longer connects to the smart tvs or the iPhones. It still connects to the mac mini, iPad and iMac Air. I do NOT think the software update timing was just coincidental. But I have not found any information or other users confirming a similar problem on the Apple support site.

• MacBook no longer connects wirelessly to internet after using ethernet

So: here at home I have an airport extreme and a time capsule. The airport extreme connects to the cable modem, and the time capsule extends the wireless network created by the extreme. I was trying to do an initial time machine backup from the MacBook, so I plugged it in with an ethernet cable to speed things up. After using the cable, the MacBook will simply not connect to the internet if I connect wirelessly to the network. When wireless accessing the network, I can see the time capsule's shared drive, etc, but I can't connect through to the wider internet.
Any suggestions?

have you tried doing a power cycle on your modem and airport?
