Connecting Motorola ROKR to iTunes (Windows)
When i connect my ROKR, itunes recognises it and says it is updating. At the same time the disk drive folder pops up (even though i de-selected enable for disc use), probably not important.
When iTunes says that the mobile has been updated, the folder disappears and the mobile no longer says "iTunes, do not disconnect" and returns to the home screen.
So effectively the mobile has disconnected its self and does not allow iTunes to put music on it.
Can anybody help me with this? Please.

After you connect the phone to the computer, the phone should show up in Source list at the right of the main iTunes window. You just need to drag the songs that you want to copy from your Library to the phone in the Source list. If you want iTunes to pick a random selection of songs from your Library to copy to your phone, click on the phone in the Source list and then click the Autofill button at the bottom of the window.

IPod touch (1G) won't connect to iTunes Windows 7
iPod touch firmware is 3.1.3. iTunes is version 10.3.1.55. Windows 7 is Professional version, 64-bit.
I've found a number of web posts about this issue dating back to 2009, but none of those solve my issue or exactly describe it. I can put my iPod touch into Device Recovery Mode, connect to iTunes, and restore the iPod, but once that is done, I cannot connect the device to iTunes (Windows 7 64-bit mode). However, I can connect the iPod to my Vista laptop, and I can connect the iPod to my Windows 7 machine if I run iTunes in the XP Mode virtual machine (32 bit). I've gone through the steps looking for a conflicting USB service, and if there is one, it's part of Windows 7. This started after I updated iTunes recently, but I'm not sure that had anything to do with it since I had not connected it in a while, and the first thing I did was update iTunes. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. -johnI've got the same problem for a long time
did you find the answer ?
thanks

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

On the moment that I connect the Iphone 5 on Windows 8, it is not recognized by Itunes, but actually it appears as a usual USB cable, or as a camera. And then I can't synchronize the Iphone 5 with Itunes. So, what do i do?
Hi pedro109,
If your iPhone is recognized by the computer, but not seen by iTunes, you may need to restart the Apple Mobile Device Service, as described in this article -
How to restart the Apple Mobile Device Service (AMDS) on Windows
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1567
Once iTunes recognizes the iPhone you should be able to sync it with iTunes. See this article

To connect my ipod to itunes with windows 8 not see the option to add to add songs from itunes library. As I can solve this?
Since you can only sync your iPod with one computer at a time, you'll need to copy the contents currently on your iPod to your new iTunes library first. See this older post from another forum member Zevoneer covering the different ways to accomplish this task.

Hi all,
I have an iPad 2 that I purchased in late 2011. I have a Windows XP PC. Of late, I have not been able to connect my iPad 2 to iTunes on my Windows XP (Service Pack 3) desktop. I keep getting the popular error "itunes cannot read the contents of the iPad. .... restore factory settings" message. I have tried re-installing latest iTunes altogether after fully uninstalling and removing registry entries. But it still keeps giving the same message. I have tried all the steps given here - http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538 , except checking with a different USB cable. My cable however works well while charging. My system however seems to detect the iPad as camera. I desperately need some help to fix this.
Thanks,
PaddyWorked for an iPad 4 (Retina) running iOS 7.0.3. connected to a Mac (Mavericks, iTunes 11.1.2). Although the file system is a bit different than what is shown on the video, the basic same steps can be carried out: download iFunbox (for Mac, obviously), go into "Raw file system", then "iTunes_Control" (you may want to switch to list view to see the complete name), then iTunes. There there was no iTunesDB file but I deleted iTunesCDB (was 0kB, expect that might have been the problem) and iTunesControl (0kB as well). Also deleted the Music folder in the previous directory.
After that I disconnected the iPad from iTunes, quit iTunes, relaunched, and it started sync'ing :-)
Note that now it's telling me that it cannot sync because an additional 10GB is required! Not sure what the problem is because the bar at the bottom of the iTunes window says it still has another 4GB available. I'm expecting there's a problem with how the size of the music is calculated (perhaps because I also sync Genius playlists and mixes), so I disabled music sync'ing for now so it can complete it once. Then I'll hand-pick the music again and hope it works! -
I am trying to get the music content in iTunes on my Mac onto my iPhone. When I connect the devices, the computer does not seen to recognize the iPhone. i.e., on the open iTunes window, the iPhone is not seen as a connected "device".

Delete and redownload them if doing so is free in your country.

The airport icon (upper right portion of the screen) says I am connected to my airport; but, the Itunes window doesn't show the icon (rectangle with an arrow in it) that allows me to select the stereo system speakers that are attached to the airport. What's up with that?
If the modem is also a router, either use the modem in bridge and run pppoe client on the TC.. that is assuming ADSL or similar eg vdsl. If it is cable service.. and the modem is a router, then bridge the TC.. go to internet page and select connect by ethernet and below that set connection sharing to bridge.
Please tell us more about the modem if the above gives you issues. -
I can't open iTunes...Windows connectivity test says that iTunes has stopped working....Date execution prevention has closed iTunes.
If you update your QuickTime Player to the latest version, does that clear up the DEP errors in iTunes?

My iPad 2 is connected, works well and is found under "devices" on the left side of my iTunes window. However, when I go into my iTunes store account under "manage devices" the iPad2 is not listed nor found to be "associated" with my account. Why not?
Even if you put a credit or debit card on file with iTunes it will still use your balance FIRST.
I would suggest putting a card on file and testing to see if it will allow you to make a purchase, then removing the card from the account after successful download of an item.
