Connecting my bellsouth email to the pre

I have spent countless hours with sprint and att with no luck.  We can't get my bellsouth email on the pre have tried many different mail servers. The one bellsouth said to use is mail.bellsouth.net which doesn't work. Also tried pop.att.yahoo.com for incoming and smtp.att.yahoo.com for out going. Now sprint is telling me it just will not work, I do not believe this is the correct answer please help.

The first thing you need to do is migrate your bellsouth account to the new att.yahoo. Once that's done , you should be able to create the account by just entering your email address and password. If you have to enter the settings manually , ive posted them below...
Open your email client program.
Locate the email account settings for your particular client.
Change the POP server to pop.att.yahoo.com.
Change the SMTP server to smtp.att.yahoo.com.
Check the option labeled Use an encrypted connection (SSL).Change the SMTP port to 465.
Check the option labeled Use an encrypted connection (SSL).Change the POP3 port to 995.
Confirm the above settings before clicking OK.

    Sometimes deleting the account and then re-creating it can solve this issue
    Write down all the information in accounts before doing this
    Highlight the account on the left and click the minus button
    Then click the plus button to add the new account and follow the prompts

  • DirectNIC's customers outside of the U.S. are unable to connect to their email accounts using their blackberries

    I work for directNIC.com and our customers who are located in foreign countries are unable to send/receive email on their blackberry devices.  The problem started at the beginning of this month and we can not figure out what the problem is.  Our U.S. blackberry customers are not having any problems.  Our non-U.S. customers have reported errors such as needing to revalidate the account and when they tried to they received an invalid domain or invalid username/password message.  Some customers said the email just quit working and they received an unable to connect error message.  I've had one customer provide me with a link to their wireless provider's blackberry email account setup and I am unable to setup their email account there or any email account that uses any of our servers.  All of our customer's email accounts work in their email clients on their computers, their other phones, and through their webmail it is only their blackberries.  We've white listed all of blackberry's IP addresses and we've checked the server logs to see if there were any connection attempts when I tried to setup the email accounts through the customer's online blackberry interface and there wasn't even an attempt to connect to the server.  The error message that I receive is as follows:
    Email address domain not found:
    The email address domain 'insert domain name here' cannot be found. Please verify this
    information is correct. If the error persists contact 'insert domain name here' (your
    email provider)
    The problem isn't with just one wireless provider it's with multiple providers in multiple countries but the U.S. customers aren't reporting any problems.  I am able to setup my personal email account through his blackberry site, an email account from my work through his blackberry site, my yahoo.com email address, and my hotmail.com email address.  The only email accounts that do not work are the email accounts that are on any of our servers.   Some of these servers have different server configuration but all of them have all of blackberry's IP addresses whitelisted.  Our premium hostng email servers have the same software installed on them as my work email server does and my work email account works fine when I try to set it up through blackberry but none of the premium hosting email accounts that I tried to setup through this customers interface will work.  The problem is only with blackberry devices and is only with customers outside of the U.S.  If anyone has any thoughts or ideas please let us know.

    Sorry for the delay replying...while your post is a bit old now, it still deserves a response.
    First -- these forums are not a formal channel for support from RIM. Rather, they are user-to-user support forums where users help other users. As such, it is unlikely that RIM will see and respond to your inquiry.
    What I suggest is that you have your affected users exercise their formal support channel -- which is available via their carrier. The carriers have the ability to escalate cases into RIM for resolution.

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
    It sounds like you're seeing an alert message when opening Mail on your iOS devices. Do you have multiple email accounts setup on the devices? Take a look at the article below, it provides suggestions that will resolve most issues that  cause an alert like that to appear in when starting the Mail app.

    The problem was solved by Apple Technical Help. The process is as flollows:
    1. Open Safari
    2. Menu item Safari-Reset Safari - remove all website data - reset
    3. Now if you try to login on iTunes connect it will work.

  • Does the Pre support Bluetooth PAN connections?

    Hello, I am new to the Pre and I am not too sure to its limitations, especially with Bluetooth. I can search for BT devices on my Vista laptop and find the Pre. However, once paired, it does not find any services. If I try and and pair the Pre with the Vista laptop, the Pre cannot see it.
    My main aim to create a PAN connection so that I can get the internet whilst on the move. However, I am unable to do anything with my current BT pairing, not even see the file system or transfer any files across.
    Any help or information on this will be grateful.

    In order for the Pre or another webOS device to transfer files, it would have to support a relevant network protocol (which mobile OSs tend not to support). So, that's not possible. What the Bluetooth PAN does support, however, is tethering (if allows by the carrier, of course), and use by applications like Chapura Pocketmirror that include their own protocols for file transfer.

    I received a cookoo watch as a gift. After downloading the Apple App, version 1.0.3627, I carefully followed the instructions repeatedly to connect to my iphone 5 only to fail to get a connections. I tried rebooting, turning of and on bluetooth and wifi with the same results.  I have connected to the help link in the app and after four emails over the past week, have not had a response. Any suggestions? I almost feel like someone gave me an expensive bird house that happened to contain a cheap watch.

    Definitely seems to me this is a problem with the App Developer. Hope they can get your cuckoo working.

    Did you ever fix this problem? The same thing happened when I just changed my kids passwords and now can't access their mail on their iPods or my iPad but I use the same email provider and mine is fine however I did not change my password.  If you fixed it how did you?

    I don't really understand your comment about "sing of tubes in RED which is wired". But if you are referring to the display of iTunes and the USB port that is an indication that you must restore your iPhone by connecting it to your computer via USB and then using iTunes on the computer to restore it.

    Hi pavan,
                   we checked with the hubspot team.they are not providing any support for the Ftp/ SFTP Protocols. so the only way you would be able to upload content to Hub Spot would be through our Content APIs as per the conversation. i.e they support the api's like json and python.
