Connecting Nintendo products?

I'm trying to connect our Nintendo DS's and our Wii for downloads and Wifi play using our AEBS.
I'm also set up with a Linksys VPN router (since I can't use my AEBS for VPN right now... grrr).
Any suggestions on how to do this?
Thanks.
iMac   Mac OS X (10.4.9)

Have you tried to connect them yet? I have mine set up and it was as easy as my laptop to connect. Just use the Wii setup and let it find the network and then enter the password and it should be fine. It was easier than the PS3 and the xbox 360. Yes I have too many electronics.

  • Nintendo products (3DS and Wii U) won't connect to other players online!

Ever since I've gotten Nintendo products with online capability, my router has always given me trouble connecting online with other people. Every other wireless device in the household works fine (laptops, smartphones, tablets, etc)--and even some online features on the 3DS still work! (Nintendo eShop, Internet Browser, etc.) INCLUDING connecting with specific people! But when I go into any game with online matchmaking, its almost impossible to find games.
I'm not a very technical person, so I've only had the help of close friends and google searches, which all seem to lead to dead ends. I hope I can get some answers here!
I have a Linksys E1000 Router (version 2.1), I have the latest firmware update, my security settings are at WPA2 Personal... and just message me if you need more information to help if you can! Thanks a lot!
    Sincerely,
    ~ BetterWithButter (Garrett)

It's been known that some Nintendo products don't support WPA or WPA2 security settings on routers. You should check with Nintendo to see what these product support and change any WiFi settings to what is supporrted.
One test you can try is to temporarily disable WiFi security and see if the devices connect then. Then try WEP on the router, this is not a good security mode anymore as it's been compromised. Then try WPA and TPIK only if this can be set on this router and test.
Try G mode only at first then try Mixed G and N if this router supports N mode.

  • Creating connection in production topology

    Hi Experts,
I found that in case single master repository we cannot restrict developers to edit ,delete dataserver or physical/logical schema. So this architecture doesn't sounds secure for us as any developer can delete the logical schema shared in both development & production context.
Its better to have 2 master repositories. So that after importing to production no one can edit or delete the logical schema. But the problem is every time we need to create dataserver or physical/logical schema completely same as in development. We cannot import topology every time we put a project on production
Is it the last option to create manual connection in production?
Appreciate any help on the architecture.
    Thanks.

    Hello Experts,
    Please reply.
    1. Can i restrict a user to view only a specific Dataserver A and (create, edit, delete) to other Data Server in ODI 11g.
    2. Which one will be better? Should we create two master repository ( one for DEV,QA and other for PROD )or one master repository (for DEV,QA,PROD)
Requirement: -I have to give all privilege to developer in development including admin_topology privilege
    - In production only execution mode
    Please suggest.

  • Display Datasource in Source System -- connects to Production ERP

    Hello,
We have performed a System Copy of BI Prod. In the copied system on one of the Generic DataSource (ZBIP_VKDFSEXT) when I right click and say "Display Datasource in Source System", it is connecting to Production ERP, supposedly it must be connecting to Dev ERP.
I have tested RFC COnnections and Logical System Settings in WE20 and 21, but they are pointing to DEV ERP.
    Correct replies appreciated.
    Thanks

    Dear SM,
I guess we have faced same kind of issue earlier,
at that time we just removed RFC connection between production system because we are not using Production system connection any more.
and then just clicked on connection parameter of source-system, there we defined new RFC destination.
Hope it will solve your issue.

  • Connecting Nintendo Wii - 802.11n AEBS - Broadband Router aint worken?

Hey guys, Ive just bought a new Nintendo Wii which is working a charm, but i cant seam to be able to get it to connect to my wireless network, (my new iPod Touch is also having the same problems (works fine on all networks other than home).
Essentially I've got my broadband modem plugged into a router upstairs and my AirPort Extreme (802.11n) plugged into the aforementioned router upstairs (for some reason AirPort Extreme wouldn't recognize plugging the broadband router straight in rather than through another router) so my setup is:
Broadband Modem -> Wired Router -> AirPort Wireless -> Wii
I think the fact that i have my internet connection coming from another router (whose settings i cant change cause I've forgotten the routers password) and then plugged into my AirPort is whats causing all my troubles??? So ideally if anyones got any suggestions why my AirPort wont accept direct connection from my broadband router i think that might do the trick but making my current setup work for the Wii would be cool.
This is really causing me allot of troubles with heaps of devices so any help is welcome!
    Thanks in advance!

Hello kungfuelmosan. Welcome to the Apple Discussions!
I suggest that you try connecting the 802.11n AirPort Extreme Base Station (AEBSn) directly to the broadband modem again, but this time make sure to allow enough time for a complete power recycle of the network components when doing so as follows ...
Try the following, in order, until resolved:
    1. If the modem has a reset switch, use it to reset the modem. Wait at least 5-10 minutes for the modem to initialize.
    2. Remove power from the modem. If it has a backup battery, remove this as well. Wait 5-10 minutes. Replace the battery, and add power back to the modem.
    3. Perform a complete power recycle of your network components as follows:
    Modem/Router Power Recycling - Quick
    o Power-off the modem, AEBSn, & computer(s); Wait at least 5 minutes.
o Power-on the modem; Wait at least 5 minutes.
o Power-on the AEBSn; Wait at least 5 minutes.
    o Power-on the computer(s)
If this fails to get the modem to "recognize" the Internet router, then try the "Full" version.
    Modem/Router Power ReCycling - Full
o Power-off the modem, AEBSn, & computer(s). (Wait at least 30 minutes. If possible, leave the modem off overnight.)
o Power-on the modem; Wait at least 15 minutes.
o Power-on the AEBSn; Wait at least 5 minutes.
    o Power-on the computer(s)
    4. Contact your ISP to have them perform a "modem reset."

  • Connecting usb product to scsi port

hi folks. i have a Power Macintosh G3/233 Desktop. there are no usb ports and i'd like to hook up a scanner that has an older usb port (usb 1.1). is there any sort of adapter product out there that i can use?
seems as the scsi to usb adapters are more for connecting scsi external devices to a usb port, and not the other way around.
    thank you

I installed this IOGEAR USB 2.0 PCI card in my beige G3s and B&W G3s several years ago. Whether the same controller chip (under the IOGEAR label) is being used, I don't know now. You didn't indicate which OS you're running. If it's OS 9.x, the USB card will function at the slower USB 1.1 speed. For USB 2.0 speed (40x faster), you must be running OS 10.2.8 or newer. I had Jaguar installed on one of my beige G3s, but can't remember if the card was recognized at the faster speed. Once the card is installed, you need to install the OS 9.x USB Support drivers (version 1.4.6 or newer) from the OS 9.x installer CD. This can be done with a custom install or with the use of TomeViewer, a downloadable utility that enables you to extract the USB drivers directly from the OS installer tome, for placement in the Extensions folder. The pre-OS X drivers are: HID Library, EnetShimLib, SerialShimLib, USB Device Extension, USB Software Locator, USB Support, and USB Mass Storage Support. As for the scanner, do you know if the manufacturer included Mac OS drivers? Also, do you have Mac-compatible scanner software to use with it?

  • Connecting Nintendo Wii To Laptop

hi there i am at university and have just recently got a Nintendo wii, due to lack of space i just wanted to know is there any way i can connect my games console to the laptop and play on there?

    http://www.elgato.com/index.php?file=products_eyetvhybridna
You need the EyeTV Hybrid. It is USB 2.0, so won't work on the older TiBooks, if that is the computer you have. Unless you get a USB 2.0 PCCard.

  • How to transport the connection in production system

    hi
I have a doubt releaated to connection between SAP BI and Xcelsius.
We have a development server on which i have created universe and then on it Qaaws and finally Xcelsius dashboard.
My doubt is in future they will transport the SAP BI system from Development system to Production system.
In this case  Universe ,Qaaws,Xcelsius will work?
will i have to develop this again in production system, or any how it will work with production system?
How excetly development work here when we have connection between SAP BI and Xcelsius in different system from development to quality and then in Production?
    Thanks,
    Piyush

    Hi
assuming that the objects (keyfigures, characteristics, multiprovider) of the underlying query are available in your production system you do not have to create your universe again, rather change the connection data to your SAP server (like SYSID, client number etc) in the universe connection.
Additionally if you are working ith BO XI 3.1 I would suggest to take a look to the LifeCycleManager, a tool which can simplify the transport process from your development to your production environment.

  • How to manage connections in production environment

    Hai
We are using Statless Session beans which will call bean managed entity beans
as a developer we completed the first phase of our project successful but when
comming to the production environment they(Higher authoritites of the company)
are asking abt the connection pools. Suppose if my wlserver5.1 has 100 hits per
a second how many connection pools i need to put in the production envirornment
and also is it the right way to increase the connectionpools depends upon the
clients hits????. Can anybody help me regarding this It is very urgent for us.
    Thanks in advance
    Cheers Kiran Nallam

    Hi,
It all depends on your infrastructure and what products you are using.
In most cases dev/prod are on different servers and are separate installs, this is the route I would promote.
Some clients do share an environment for dev/test but not all, not everybody is the same.
    Cheers

  • Stale Database Connections in Production Environment - Oracle 9.0.4.1

Every so often we encounter stale database connections in our connection pools. To us, this should not happen, as the connections should be refreshed, if idle, every so often.
Please see the data-sources entry below for an example connection pool. They are all pretty much the same. We have a retry-interval and inactivity-timeout specified!
Are we missing something obvious.. Any help at all on this would be much appreciated as this is an ongoing issue in a real-time CRM type application currently running in Production.
    Cheers in advance.

  • BOFC: Connect a productive system

I have a little issue to set up the productive system. My guides canu2019t help me very much maybe someone has any guide for my issue:
I have created one data source as a top (development) where I have created structures, category scenario, reports, u2026 Then I have created another data source as a child (productive). This should be the site for all productive stuff (data entry/import, consolidation, data analysis). My question is how can I create a connection between both data sources that I can transfer objects from development to productive.
    Can you help me?

I will answer my own question:
You have to create any side on top database which should be the productive site. Then start the receive task on the child data source. The information will be received an the site will be automaticly created on the child database. Now you can receive objects from the TOP-Site.
Hope, it will be helpfull for anybody.

  • TFS work item store is not connecting in production server using server side event handler code

Server side plugin code to connect to work item store
    tfs = new TfsTeamProjectCollection(new Uri(tfsUri));
    store = (WorkItemStore)tfs.GetService(typeof(WorkItemStore));
I used the above code and accessed work item store in my TFS DEV server without username and password. But the same plugin code is not working for the TFS Production server.

not authorized to access http://localhost:8080/tfs/xx. Exception Message: TF30063: You are not
    authorized to access http://localhost:8080/tfs/xx
    Please guide

    Hi divya,
From the error message, you might not have the permissions to get the work item store in TFS production server. You can check the permissions on your production server by using
tfssecurity command in VS command line.
Please execute tfssecurity /imx “domain\username” /collection:url, for more information about tfssecurity /imx, please refer to:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms400806.aspx
If you have the permission, then you can also clean team foundation cache and try again.
