Connecting nokia 5310 to the computer
This may sound a silly question but I have recently just bought a Nokia 5310 with comes with music. I have managed to download nokia PC suit and Nokia Music fine, now when I connect to the PC suit my phone connects to it but when I try and connect it while in Nokia Music so I can activate my free music it doesn't seem to detect it. Does anyone have an idea of what to do???

Another option is after you finish transfering files. Just exit PC suite. File > Exit. If it is minimised in the tray then right click and exit.

How to disable an ipod touch that won't connect to itunes or the computer
I recently got an ipod touch that was reset before being given to me. It wouldn't connect to iTunes or the computer but would still charge in the USB port. I updated iTunes and tried doing a soft reset holding down home and sleep. Then I realized on the screen that says "connect to iTunes", on the top right it would say "iPod" and in the middle it would show a little lock symbol. I was told this ment it was disabled and that's why it wouldn't work. But how would I restore it or reset it if I cannot get passed the connect to itunes screen and it wont connect to the computer. PLEASE HELP
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

when i connect my ipod to the computer a box pops up and says that itunes cannot locate/read this file, and if the problem persists to uninstall itunes and then reinstall, but i have my own user on the computer, so if i uninstall it on my user will it uninstall it on every user?

I must mention that connecting the phone and accesing it as a camera worked before but at some point it didn't and i keep recieving this mtp driver error. I tried everything including deleting registry entries, reinstalling multiple times, use the log administrators command in cmd, i don't have a pass on my phone, nothing worked so far. Any help would be apreciated.Yes I did.. Everything is ready. Just when I plug the cable into the phone and the computer nothing will happen.. When I plug it into our "business" laptop immediately it will show that it is connected... With this laptop I am using now, nothing happens..

Try force rebooting it, hold down the power and home button for 10 seconds until the apple boot logo comes up. If that doesn't work, try rebooting your computer.

In iTunes 11 you have the option to turn the Sidebar and the Status Bar on or off; they are off by default. To do this in the menus, go to:

How do I get iphoto to recognize that a computer really is connected to the internet? I cannot use places to locate my photos, because the software keeps telling me my computer is not connected. I know the computer is connected.
Try this: launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Import some photos and check to see if the same problem persists. It the problem persists make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home()/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.

3 - launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding down the Option key when launching iPhoto. You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.
If the new library does'nt have that problem then your original library is damaged. Post back if that's the case and we'll go from there.

When I connect my ipad to the computer and click import photos and videos, the computer says that there are no photos or videos on the ipad it says the file is empty I can't even add anything to the file!!!!!
It looks like the card may be the problem, and your best bet is to try the Card Reader - this will make the card accessible by the Finder and you may be able to drag the pics off to the desktop or, at worst, try recover the pics with an app like MediaRecover
