  • Connecting an existing CEN to the SAP Solution Manager

    Hi,
I have running a CEN (Central Monitoring).
To use this Monitoring Data into the SAP Solution Manager  for CPH and E2E Monitoring , a connection is needed between CEN and Solution Manager.
It seems that this information is available on SDN but I can not find it.
    Has anybody experience with it?
    Thanks
    Paul

the extensions should be connected to the terminals on the faceplate as that enables you to connect to test socket and eliminate all your internal wiring which is essential when checking your broadband conenction.  in addition the bt incoming wires on the back of the master belong to openreach.  connecting to terminals A&B is star wiring and will just cause problems with any broadband conenction and should you need an openreach engineer then he would disconnect the wires and may connect to faceplate or may not connect them as that is customers responsibilty

  • How can we make a call to the Data base in the SAP Scripts?

    Hi All,
How we make a call to the data base in scripts?
I think we can use the PERFORM statement to achieve the above functionality.
Pls correct me if i am wrong?
    Regards
    Abhilash.

    Hello.
If you want to access database in the script itself (not in print program) yes, you can use PERFORM statement.
    In your script, use:
    /: PERFORM F_FORM IN PROGRAM ZRFIRFS05
    /: USING &VAR1&
    /: CHANGING &VAR2&
    /: ENDPERFORM
Then, create a program ZPROG (ZRFIRFS05 in my case) with a structure like this one:
    REPORT ZRFIRFS05 .
FORM f_form TABLES in_par STRUCTURE itcsy out_par STRUCTURE itcsy.
      DATA: l_data1(10).
READ TABLE in_par WITH KEY name = 'VAR1'.
      CHECK sy-subrc = 0.
      l_data1 = in_par-value.
    *  SELECT .... "YOUR SELECT TO DATABASE
READ TABLE out_par WITH KEY name = 'VAR2'.
      CHECK sy-subrc = 0.
      out_par-value = l_data3.
      MODIFY out_par INDEX sy-tabix.
    ENDFORM.
    Regards.

  • Is there a way to delete information like the call log on voice, the text messages on text, the IM Messages on IM as well as the INternet history, etc. with one command?

If I want to lay my phone down and I want NO ONE to know about any past activity is there a way to clean it ALL out at once so I am sure that my activities will not be discovered?

Is this for a smart phone? You can hard reset the device back to its factory configuration, but of course then you have to spend a lot of time setting it up again. There might be an application for clearing the information you want to clear, but it would be specific to your device (and you might have to root/jailbreak your device to gain full control of it). You might try posting your question on a forum dedicated to your device's operating system, such as Android Central or the iPhone Blog.

Kindly any member guide me in bit detail.
    Thanks and Best Regards,

    Hi,
currently it is not possible to build web intelligence reports fetching data directly from an SAP ERP system. The reason is that SAP ERP data sources are not supported in universes.
    Regards,
    Stratos
PS: An option is to deploy a BOBJ rapid mart. Please note that in this case you require the BOBJ Data services (ETL) tools. The idea behind the SAP ERP related rapid marts is that in the first step the data are extracted from your SAP ERP sources and load them into a relational database (using a predifined DWH scheme). Additionally the package provides you with universes (which rely on this predefined DWH scheme) and use the database as data sources, here your SAP ERP data were extracted to.

  • Unable to start the SAP instance - work processes are terminated

    Hello,
We are implementing SAP ECC 6.0 on iSeries, i5/OS V5R4.
The application server & the database server are implemented on one centralized physical iSeries server.
We recently attempted to copy one SAP system (DEV) from one iSeries server to another, through restoring from an Entire System backup.
After successfully conducting the restore onto the new (destination) iSeries server, and conducting all the necessary host name changes to be the same as the host name of the source system, we encountered a problem when trying to start the SAP : all the jobs under sub-system R3_00 are started, except the jobs constituting the SAP work processes; i.e. WP00, WP01, …etc.

  • Connect BO WebI on top of SAP Accelerator

    Hello,
I have been tasked to connect SAP NetWeaver BW 7.x to BusinessObjects XI 3.1 within WebI version.
To gain performances during Database Treatment, BW Accelerator have been added on the SAP NetWeaver BW.
I see a lot of documentation suggesting that the following workflow (BW Cubes -> BW Accelerator -> Integration KitSAP -> BO Univers -> WebI) is not really possible at the moment because universes cannot been created on top of BW Accelerator Cubes.
I have a doubt about using the SAP Integration kit with BW Accelerator for connecting BWA and BO Univers. But is the new Data Federator can supply it (To Connect BO Univers (WebI) on top of BW Accelerator) ?
Another suggestion is that normal BW got Accelerated. For this case I will still connect WebI to BW but the BW system will return the answer much quicker thanks to BWA. But fom the outside I will not know or see that BWA is involved ( it is all just BW connectivity). Is anybody already use this process and got significant speed results?
    Regards,
    Yanabee

    Hi
as far as I know your universes built on BEx queries normally benefit implicitely from the performance boosting due to BWA. This is transparent for the BO universe architect and the BO end users.
Bulding universes directly on BW cubes is not a Best Practice anyway. One reason for this is the amount of data that may be fetched from the BO reporting servers in order to display the report. The BWA would not really have had an impact at this workflow.

  • Howto call/open a Windows program on the SAP client?

    Hi all,
in an ABAP report I want to call a program that is installed on the client machine running the SAP GUI, optionally with a parameter. For example, on the client machine a program called "test" is installed, I want to call it from within my ABAP report with a paramter: "C:\program files\test\test.exe -param".
Any ideas how I can do this?
Thanks in advance for your help!
    Kind regards, Matthias

you create a OS command using SM69 and you can use the Function module SXPG_COMMAND_EXECUTE  or else
or You can use the method CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES=>EXECUTE
    or else
    Function GUI_EXEC.

  • Error when generating IDoc from MC document - workitem to all the SAP users

A workflow item with the subject of “Error when generating IDoc from MC document” is sent to all the SAP users' inbox. Is it possible to stop the generation of this work item? If that is not possible, can we limit sending the work item to a specific user/agent instead of all the users in the system?
It appears that these work item or error message are generated when one of the developers reopen the POs and add line items. Moreover, during that time the procurement team blocked the IDOCs from going out to the vendors when changing and resaving the POs. Therefore, we need stop the generation of error message/work item when the IDOCs generation blocked.

Please check Rule 70000141which is the default rule for this task. Inside this rule a FM is attcahed which is reading table EDO13 and EDPP1 where agent is retrieved Probably this table entries are not maintained. This Workflow is getting triggered from Message cOntrol I think.

  • To Find the SAP Query from the tranaction code or the program name

    Hi,
I have a situation wherein I have to modify the sap query associated with an transaction code. But the problem is that I am unable to find the SAP Query.
<b>Please let me know how to find the SAP query from the transaction code or the program name.</b>
    Thanks and Regards,
    Rupesh

    Hi Rupesh,
    1 use FM
      RSAQ_DECODE_REPORT_NAME
    2. This is one of the best and easiest way.
    3. It will provide u the following info.
       WORKSPACE
       USERGROUP
       QUERY
       CLIENT
    4. Thru TCode U must know the program name first.
This can be discovered using SE93.
    Hope it helps.

    Hi Victor,
Go to SM37 and put in the username as DDIC and see the job log.
Also check  Sm50 and see whether you have BTC processes available.
Last but not the least check your filesystem space  usage too.
