Why when last week I could see my friends of FB all of the sudden that optio is gone in Skype. Please help me. I use Skype all day long every day. It is good to stay connected to family and friends.

First of all I changed [http://] to [https://] on face book and then started using the [ encryptic] security, I then changed my password on face book. But the next day I tried to get back into face book, I found I couldn't...it kept saying do you need a new pass word? so I gave them a new pass word...do you wish to store your old pass word? no I replied....well the pass word you gave is invaild...here is your new pass word, the thing is, it's marked in dots..And again it says that may be your browser is the problem, so this is why I am coming to you at this time,I'm not sure if you understand what I'm saying or do I have it worded right or what?
I should add that it's an HP photosmart 4280.I found it online and it shows the Mac 0SX operating system.

Since June 3, 2013 MiFi 4g Verizon wireless internet will not connect to my Face Book
I am using the MiFi 4G Verizon wireless internet connection. Since Monday, June 3, 2013, the only internet site I cannot get into now is my Face Book. If I do finally get in anything I click on is dead or just sits there and spins. I thought I had been hacked but after 3 days of trying I finally was able to get into my FB account settings and changed my password. So I know I wasn't hacked. It takes try after try to get into the FB, but generally nothing is clickable. After having it so many years why all of a sudden is this happening and to only this site on my wireless connection? My Daughter has cable internet connection and she is having not one problem. Her FB loads right up. Then I hear on the tv all this stuff about the gov spying on Verizon customers. Not just phones but they say FB too. I pay for my internet connection and should be able to get all sites. Is anyone else having this problem all of a sudden?
Hi. I had replied to muttandjeff on his question internet issues as I was having the same problem and all pc's and laptops in my house and my husband's FB account too. Anyway, after about 5 days of this I had tried once again one evening to get into FB and it went right in! I thought wow. So I came back here to muttandjeff's posts to find that he had ;posted abount an hour before I got there that all of a sudden he could get into FB. And that was about the same time for me too. So I posted to him that we could now too all of a sudden. Anyway, as long as I have had my MiFi and my FB account, this is the first time this has ever happened and I do appreciate that you all keep up with what is going on in this forum and that the problem has been resolved. Thank you! Also, on my question before I logged out it said question not answered and beside it then was an insert to mark as question now assumed answered. I clicked on that. Thanks again!!!!

when I choose a photo to share on face book a drop down box appears with the message, Face book didn't recognise the information you entered for the account this is my Face book login information I use to access my face book page how can I overcome this.
Delete abd re-enter your Facebook account information jnder the accounts tab in the iPhoto preferences

You need to enable home sharing in iTunes on MBP and Apple TV. You will also choose which photos to share within iTunes.

Any movies would need to be imported to iTunes or pointed to it if on external drive.
Back up your iTunes library by copying it to an external drive - Apple Support
The movies would also need to be compatible with Apple TV

They would then be accessed by going to the Computers icon on Apple TV.

Mavric doesn't support my 5 years old Big Screen Display, OR? Tried to connect my Mac Book Pro after installing Mavric, The Screen didn't work as before. I could only see the Desktop but not the movies for example.
<E-mail Edited by Host>It appears what happened is the installer though it was looking at a empty drive and just went ahead and installed.
I of course am assuming here you didn't use Disk Utility to format the drive first before installing, that would wipe out your files and programs for sure.
So what to do, what to do.
Well there is hope for you as long as the drive wasn't Filevaulted.
I'll explain. When a hard drive writes data for the first time to a drive, it starts at the very top and works it's way down.
When OS X was installed the first time, it was at the top of the drive, unless you upgraded then the upgraded OS X could have been written elsewhere.
Now when you just reinstalled OS X, the new OS went on the top of the drive, overwriting any data that was there previously, so what was there you have lost forever which is about 8GB or so. If it was the previous OS there, then your more in luck because only the old OS X was overwritten.
The remaining space on the drive still can have a copy of your files, provided it's not overwritten yet.
It's because when a hard drive deletes data or reformats, it doesn't remove the data off the drive or overwrites it immediately, it's just made so it's SPACE is available for new files to be written there.
So technically one can recover the deleted data off a non-encrypted/scrubbed hard drive with special software.
The way it does this is it reads the 1's and 0's of the files themselves, and through a lot of figuring out, can tell what that file is and what it belongs too.
So what you will have to do is this:
Create a data recovery/undelete external boot drive
or if you don't have the skills, then take it to a local PC/Mac tech and they can do a direct image of the drive and then you can run Data Rescue on it to rebuild your files. -

Clean off your on the G5 drive and off you go.
I suggest buying a second drive and setting it up for a back up, Time Machine or Carbon Copy Cloner, or SuperDuper (both "bootable" back up) All searchable on the web.

Got given an old Mac by my girlfriend for work, all I really need it for is the internet and the mail, I have set up the mail setting identical to that of my windows laptop and my iPhone however I am not able to send mail. Im currently running Mac OS
