Connecting to imessage

Hi guys
For some reason this morning my phone decided to switch off delete all my passwords for facebook etc and turned off my imessage.
Now when i try to turn my imessage on it keeps saying error and then i need to check my network. I am connected to Wifi with full signal and no issues using the internet.
Anyone got any ideas of why it wont let me sign into itunes?

After you reset the phone, did you try turning iMessage off and then back on again? If it did not work, then try turning iMessage off, then doing another reset. It does not affect your data. Try activating iMessage after that.You can also try going to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. All that will do is reset all of your network settings and delete any wi-fi passwords. You can reenter them, but it may release this network issue.

When you respond, also indicate which country and carrier you're using. Also, is your phone brand new? can you make a phone call / access the internet while on cellular?

I can´t connect to iMessage in my iPhone

I can´t connect to iMessage in my iPhone.
When I try to connect via Settings/Messages/iMessage, it informs "An error ocurred during activation. Try again"
If I try to connect using my Apple ID after some seconds displays a message that says "iMessage Activation. Could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again." while i´m connected to WIFI at that moment.
My current status Settings/Messages/iMessage when I activate i Message is "Waiting for activation...".
Anybody knows how to solve this.

Anthony I tried this, to connect using my Apple ID and after some seconds displays a message that says "iMessage Activation. Could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again." while i´m connected to WIFI at that moment.

Try reset all settings
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
Note: Data will not be affected but settings will be reset.

IOS7 problems connecting to iMessage?

After updating to iOS7 I am unable to connect to iMessage. I put in my correct Apple ID username and password then message comes up relating to check my network connection which is not the problem.

Back up all data.
Take the steps suggested in this support article:
FaceTime, Game Center, Messages: "There was an error processing registration" when signing in
Sign out of iMessage:
Messages ▹ Preferences ▹ Accounts ▹ Sign out
Then sign back in with your verified credentials.
If you get the same error, try resetting the NVRAM.

Go into your settings>messages, make sure iMessage in on, then click the send & receive make sure your phone number has a check mark next to it.

Logicboard replacement came with new serial that stops me from connecting w iMessage and FaceTime. Applecare ran out and now I am sure it is this issue... How can I get apple to honor the serial mess up?

The story is that I have an imac i7 that was still under Applecare when the logicboard coraked.
I brought it in for repair and got it back. Somehow imessage and facetime would never connect anymore and come up with connection errors yet everything else worked. I tried all tens or hundreds of suggestions over hte last few months and nothing worked.
So I resorted to a clean hard drive repartitioning and install of Mountain Lion.
To my surprise: it sill did not work.
That;s when I found an obscure post that I am quite certain is the problem: the poster had the exact some symptoms I had and NOTHING worked. Hrs of phone support etc. Until it dawned on him that he had a logic board replacement after which the issue occurred. He found that his serial was no longer the same as the original item and came up as invalid on the apple website and was not listed in the "About" of his iMac.
I immediately recognized the recent support symptom and motherboard replacement and checked the rest. And behold it is all exactly as he said. He had to bring it back to the service center and they put the original serial back in and everything worked again.
Here is my problem: months of troubleshooting have passed and my iMac went out of Applecare warranty. Support does not warrant an exception for the serial online and the service center wants to get paid I am not wealthy. This computer is my life and I need them to change the serial back to what it was when I purchased the machine. Can someone suggest how I get help. Apple is acting like M-soft in this respect.

The only people who can possibly assist you with this is Apple Customer Relations, call your local Apple contact number and ask for Customer Relations then explain your situation clearly and politely (be firm but don't rant).
You might want to investiage what the local laws are regarding defective goods and 'fit for use' definitions on warranties etc. Consumer Protection can be a useful tool to use or bargain with if needed ...

How do I fix the connection issues on my iPod Touch 4th generation to connect to iMessage?

I am getting very frustrated with this iPod Touch 4th generation. I have been using my 2nd generation iPod Touch to use iMessage to text people and use as a 'fake iPhone' because carrying around my cell phone and iPod is annoying.
Basically, I have tried multiple times to change the DNS on every network to the google public server (8.8.8.8) and this does not work.
I attempt to sign in to my Apple ID on iMessage and it says "iMessage Activation: Could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again." Even though it claims I cannot connect to the internet, I can connect and browse on Safari and other Apps, but iMessage (also Facetime) will never connect or let me sign in. I continually receive that error message that I need to check my network connection. I just don't understand why. iMessage will work on my iPad 3rd gen and my iPod Touch 2nd gen, but not my iPod Touch 4th gen.
I am using my college's WiFi network and it is hit and miss in my building, but both my iPod touch 2nd gen and iPad 3rd gen can receive iMessages and everything fine. I am starting to think that the 4th gen ipod touch just has a crappy wifi receiver or something.
PLEASE help me fix this. I don't know what else to do.

What symptom are you seeing?
Hopefully you know that you can only use iMessage to message with other Apple equipment owners.
Check Settings > Message > Send & Receive and make sure your Apple ID is there.
