Connecting to Live TV

I have rebooted atleast 5 times and after my X1 Platform reboots it will not connect to Live TV??? Help, What can I do next to fix the problem.

Getting two XBox's to connect to Live on Homehub 2...

Hi I wonder if anyone can help?
I have set up the port forwarding for one Xbox and that works fine. The other gets the NAT Strict warning and wont connect to Live. I have even set that one to be in the DMZ but it still wont connect to Live with the other one on. :/
Can anyone come up with suggestions please? Would it work if I use a different Router????

Well I created an application for one Xbox, not using the XBox Live application that is in the router and, put the other Xbox into the DMZ and, hey presto! Both boxes will now operate and have open NAT sessions. Result!
Talking to someone from BT Support and, despite the language barrier, I am sure he said that the new router for Infinity does allow full UPnP and NAT access and alteration so will allow both to work
Next Wednesday I am due to de-copper Will be sure to let you all know how it goes

To remove warning message " CONNECTION TO LIVE CACHE FAILED"

I am working on a stand alone SNC system , and I am testing it .
We have not installed Live cache in this system
We are creating master data directly in SNC system
never faced issue while creating location , Business partner
But while creating Product and location product as master go following warning message " CONNECTION TO LIVE CACHE FAILED"
once I click on CREATE , but if I press enter instead it takes me to following screens for master creation
We have even deactivate the live CACHe but still get this warning message,
H0w can i remove this warning mesaage and get in the following master creation screens directly

IN the above issue i mentioned , forgot to tell you that once i try to save product or location product it again give me the same error and doent have the master
but once SNC is a stand alone system should save it even with out the live cache
there should be some setting to make this system not depended on live cache and still save all the data
please help with this

Using Adobe Connect to Live Stream an Event

Hi everyone,
I was hoping to get some suggestions about how we could best use Adobe Connect to live stream an upcoming event. Every year we host an event with both a live and an online audience. Traditionally we've asked our presenters to speak into a microphone that is connected to a PA system in the room and then a separate microphone connected to a laptop pics up the audio coming out of the PA system and transmits it through Connect. I suspect that there must be a better way to do this (perhaps using a mixing board?), but I'm not sure how that would work. Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions?
Similarly, does anyone have any thoughts on adding a live video feed? Ideally I'd like to broadcast a video feed at a resolution around 480, but I'm not sure if that's realistic. Any insights people may have would be greatly appreciated.

When doing mixed events (live and online) with Connect, I've used an audio out from a mixing board, or if you can off the PA system. This ensures a direct like from the mic being used and eliminates the chance for the PA's audio to be picked up by the mic and creating an echo or disruptive background noise.
As to the live video feed, that should be easy enough. So long as you can connect your camera (webcam or otherwise) to the computer, there should be a method to get the live stream in Connect. The feed needs to be seen as a webcam by your computer's OS, but this can be worked around with an application called DVdriver ($20), if needed. It is also free to try, so you can test at no additional cost. Connect supports up to 480P.

Unable to connect E Live (Premiere 13 Evaluation) to internet

Although connected to internet (via aol/BT) when selecting E Live it says I have no internet connection. Is this a software fault in the programme or am I doing some thing wrong?

Failover Cluster 2008 R2 - VM lose connectivity after live migration

Hello,
I have a Failover Cluster with 3 server nodes running. I have 2 VMs running in one the the host without problems, but when I do a live migration of the VM to another host the VM lose network connectivity, for example if I leave a ping running, the ping command
has 2 response, and 3 packets lost, then 1 response again, then 4 packets lost again, and so on... If I live migrate the VM to the original host, everything goes OK again.
The same bihavior is for the 2 VMs, but I do a test with a new VM and with that new VM everything Works fine, I can live migrate it to every host.
Any advice?

Hi Cristian Ruiz,
What your current host nic settings now, from you description it seems you are using the incorrect network nic design. If you are using iSCSI storage it need use the dedicate
network in cluster.
If your NIC teaming is iconfigured in switch independent + dynamic, please try to disable VMQ on VM Setting for narrow down the issue area.

Yes, We are using iSCSI storage, but it has its own NICs for that (2 independant NIcs just to connect the server with the storage) and they are configured to not use those NICs to cluster communication. The team configuration is just for the LAN connectivity.
The NIC teaming is configured using BACS4 software from a DELL server and in Smart Load Balancing and Failover (as you can see here
http://www.micronova.com.ar/cap01.jpg). The link you passed is for Windows Server 2012 and we are running Windows Server 2008 R2, BUT as you can see in the following capture the NICs has that feature disabled

One test that I'm thinking to do is to remove teaming configuration and test just with one independant NIC for LAN connection. But, I do not know if you think another choice.

Yes, you will be able to publish to FMS. Platform independence of FMS is not related to wrting the filter. Please keep following points in mind before writing the filter:
1. Writing the filter will simply list the network camera as a device on your system, so that FMLE can access it.
2. Your camera should provide raw frames (RGB, etc format) for FMLE to encode. Even after writing the filter you may not be able to capture and encode using FMLE if the camera doesn't provide raw frames.
Please let me know if things are still not clear.

Upstream bandwidth req to run Adobe Connect w live video

Is 3mbps enough upstream bandwidth to run Adobe Connect meetings for 6 - 12 attendees w live video?

Assuming highest quality settings each user would need around a 500 kpbs upstream bandwidth. Other things to consider is if they are broadcasting VoIP audio (44 kbps) and/or sharing their screen 200+ kbps. So, I would suspect that a 3 mbps upstream connection will be sufficient for attending a Connect Meeting.
However, you may want to consider that their downstream may be saturated pretty quick with the live video. Again, assuming highest quality setting (meaning you can tune it down and make the numbers more reasonable) a meeting with 6 attendees all broadcasting their live video would require 500 kbps upstream and 2.5 mbps downstream. A meeting with 12 would require 500 kbps upstream and 5.5 mbps downstream.

RDS 2012 re-connection after live migration.

Is there a way to speed up the re-connection after a live migration?
So if i am in a vm that live migrates it feels like it hangs for about 10 seconds the reconnects and is fine..... While this is OK its not ideal. Is there a way to improve this?

Actually 10 seconds sounds like a very long time to me. In my experience using Shared Nothing Live Migration I've seen the switch being almost instantaneous, with a continual ping possibly dropping one or two packets, and certainly quick enough that it's
unlikely any users would notice the change. So in terms of whether it can be improved I'd say yes.
As you can see from the technical overview here

some other network issue.
Is the network connection poor between the servers which might cause a delay during the final sync of changes between the server copies? Are you moving between subnets?

Trouble connecting to live streams

I've been using FMS for a few weeks, and feel relatively comfortable with it, but am currently having some trouble connecting to a live stream in a a video conferencing-type application.
I suspect I'm leaving some small step out, but am having trouble seeing what that step is.
I have one client application open the video camera, connect to the FMS, and publish it's live camera stream to the server. Something like this:

by
remoteStream.play("user1");
the second parameter in play() is start time with default value of -2. Zero means play a VOD from start.
