Connecting to non-US iTunes stores

I'm looking to purchase some songs that are on the UK iTunes music store, but not the US store. Is there any way that this can be done?

That's not possible, unless you have a credit card with a billing address in the iTMS-country you want to buy from.

I have recently downloaded itunes and I can't connect to Ping or Itunes store. I downloaded Itunes a few days ago and both were working but they suddenly stopped working. I downloaded itunes again but it hasn't made any difference. I ran diagnostics and it said "secure link to iTunes store failed" and I can't click on help because it says "Itunes help is unavailable because your computer isn't connected to the internet".  I will copy and paste the diagnostic report below.   Please help!!!    Paul      Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium Edition Service Pack 1 (Build 6001) Sony Corporation VGN-N38Z_W iTunes 10.6.1.7 QuickTime 7.6.8 FairPlay 1.14.37 Apple Application Support 2.1.7 iPod Updater Library 10.0d2 CD Driver 2.2.0.1 CD Driver DLL 2.1.1.1 Apple Mobile Device 5.1.1.4 Apple Mobile Device Driver 1.43.0.0 Bonjour 3.0.0.10 (333.10) Gracenote SDK 1.9.5.502 Gracenote MusicID 1.9.5.115 Gracenote Submit 1.9.5.143 Gracenote DSP 1.9.5.45  iTunes Serial Number 002BB06403829878  Current user is not an administrator. • Purchasing music from a non-UK iTunes store

I am unable to currently purchase music from a non-UK iTunes store, is there any way to circumvent this restriction??
    Thank you.

No, you can only buy from your own country's store - to be able to buy from another country's store you need a valid billing address in that country and be in that country when buying from it. You can try requesting that what you want to buy is added it the UK store, but ultimately it's the record companies that will have to grant Apple license to sell it here : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html
Is what you want to buy available on other download sites e.g. Amazon, HMV etc ?

  • Touch recognized intermittantly in Windows 7 (via usb) but loses connection when going to Itunes (store). Performed all diagnostics several times to no avail.

I initially installed Itunes on my old Toshiba computer and had no difficulty with connectivity, etc. Now trying to utilize Ipod Touch on Samsung with Windows 7 (which by the way I do not like at all). Needless to say I installed the latest version of Itunes on the Samsung and am using the USB cable supplied with the Touch. I have had major difficulty with getting Itunes to recognize the Touch initially. Now Itunes will recognize the Touch but if I go to ITunes/Store or leave the Touch in any way the connectivity is lost. I have run the diagnostics several times to no avail. The diagnostics evidentially is for older version of I tunes as it describe the device as being located in the LEFT side of the screen (as in the old version). The version I am using shows the device in the UPPER RIGHT of the Menu bar with a tab on the RIGHT side of the ITunes menu (is this clear?)

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar.  Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar.

  • HT1369 I can't get my computer to connect me to the itunes store

I'm able to listen to my purchased music but i can't go to the store to purchase. I keep getting an error that its not connected to the network

    Close your iTunes,
    Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
    (Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
    netsh winsock reset
    Hit "ENTER" key
    Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

  • TS1368 unable to connect with the apple itunes store. no error message, it just keeps "accessing" the store, and it is never successful. How do I overcome this?

I am unable to connect with the iTunes store. ITunes keeps "accessing", but that can go on for an hour. No error messages. It just never connects. How can I overcome this?

The question for me becomes what motivation do I  (Apple's customer) have to download Autoruns from Windows, open a compressed folder, try to determine which Winsock Provider is mine, check for updates and then run whatever it is I need to run to fix this.  All these steps just so I can access the Itunes Store and buy from Apple.  It would seem that Apple would find a fix on their side so their customers don't have to do this.  Is anyone from Apple listening???

  • Any idea to fix the iTunes 12.0.1.26 connectivity problem with the iTunes Store?

My operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium. Although the application works fine such as playing music, downloading app updates and music. However, when I attempted to make the connection between iTunes Store and the current version of iTunes, the iTunes window began to froze, then the error message showed that there was a problem with the application that causes it to shut down. Any ideas on how to resolve this?
