Connecting to the raspberry pi is getting intermittent connectivity!
Hi,
The cable connection to the board works with no problems, but wireless connection is always breaking, is there anything than can be done, or some tips to troubleshoot this.
I don't this the problem is with my wireless network because everything else on my wireless network works ok.

Just a guess, but it might be how you are powering the Pi. The WiFi dongle does require more power.
So if your power supply is less than 1 Amp, that might be the reason. See this link for more info.

Since upgrading to Lion OS 10.7.1, the wifi connectivity keeps blocking up intermittently and we need to manually keep switching on and off the wifi utility to get the connection back. even locking the preferred wifi network in system preferences does not help. This is a big thank you to Rys Sinnefeldt who posted this fix.
Rys has made this fix very easy to do and takes literally 2 mins. It involves replacing the Atheros Lion driver 4.0 and replacing it with the snow leopard driver. Don't worry, Rys has made this so simple to do even I could do it and so far I have had no more wifi drops.

Getting intermittent connection, anyone else experiencing same issue?
I am getting intermittent connection with my 3gs where i can get speed of up to 800 kps then nothing. I have soft reset the phone already, put a new sim card.
I never had that problem with my previous 3g iphone.

I recently put on a PowerPoint presentation at DU, in Denver Colorado; signed on as DU guest to access Internet link. SInce then I haven't been able to get e-mail on my Iphone - Cannot Get Mail, Server Stopped Responding. I tried all previous suggestions, such as rebooting phone, updating software etc. I went to MacBook Pro and tried logging on to yahoo e-mail. Apparently there was a security risk to my e-mail account so Yahoo locked up my account. I reset my password, it was verified through text message, and Voila it worked. Don't forget you also have to change this on your Iphone: go into settings; Mail, Contacts, Calendars; click on your e-mail browser, then account and enter your new password, click done and it will verify on you phone as well. When trying to log on to the iTunes store I get the message 'We could not complete your iTunes store request. The network connection was reset'. I can access my account on a different PC but not my own. Can you advise me as to what I should do please?

If I understand correctly it sounds like your phone hasnt been recognized in iTunes on your PC since the last couple of updates. I would use the troubleshooting in the following article which will walk you through the steps one by one.

How do I connect my Mac Book Pro to a projector I have the adapter but cant get anything on the screen
Go to your "screen settings". then chose "find screen" then you vill find the prosjector.
this will probably fix your problem.
if this dont works can it be something wrong with your adapter.

Has any one experienced not being able to send mail and only receiving some? I get the message " can not get mail. No connection to the server! " Yet I get some mail but can not send out any. My iPad is only 1 month old! It worked perfectly for about 10 days.

My laptop died so I've installed itunes onto another PC and my music is all on an external hardive which is connected to the new PC. How can I sync my ipod with the new itunes and get all the music onto itunes?
You might consider itunes match for moving CDs you've copied into your itunes library if you dont have a way to use home sharing.
iTunes match is an optional service offered by apple that costs about $25 a year. It scans your music library and if it finds music that is already in apple's itunes catalog it'll automatically "unlock"/"store" these in the cloud for you. I bought a new iMac today. I'm using migration assistant to move all my software, but the time just keeps getting longer. It says connect an Ethernet cable for faster data transfer. I did, but that doesn't seem to help. Any ideas?

I have an AirPort Extreme and a linksys router. What is the best way to get 6-8 wired connections with ac speeds?
Appreciate your assistance.The answer depends on whether the AirPort Extreme is your main router....or...the Linksys device is your main router.
In either case, the two devices must connect together using a wired Ethernet connection using CAT5e or CAT6 cabling.
Any version of the AirPort Extreme produced within the last 5 years will have Gigabit Ethernet ports. In order to get the same speeds from the Linksys router, it will also need to be Gigabit Ethernet capable.
If you need additional Ethernet ports, you will need to add a Gigabit Ethernet switch to either the AirPort Extreme or Linksys router.
It is assumed that your other devices connecting to the AirPort Extreme and Linksys router will also have Gigabit Ethernet capability.
Not sure why you mention "ac" speeds in your post. This relates to wireless connections, not wired.
